Hey KellyD,
I am always in your shadow it seems but I have started to catch up and be in the same place at the same time. I have been googling stupid things like "do all belly buttons pop out?" looking at my inny and considering it's stretching so much. last week with my very bad indigestion before going camping, I think Jazz definitely did the same growth spurt you just described and I was thinking "now no more growing up there, there's just no room". she is definitely filling me up now and like you I am starting to be all out in front...yahhhoooo! Maybe one day someone will notice My Dad hugs me about once a year and only if I hug him first and he is so huge that he always does one of those massively rib breaking squeezes...I caught him just in time before he nearly squeezed Jasmine out of me when he was up visiting. He was a bit embarrassed as he'd totally forgotten I was pg
Oh yeah, I also totally get that shopping and then you're just knackered, or uni and knackered or work.... It's like one thing at a time and then big sleepy bo bos! I had to stop my casual night fill job at Woollies yesterday as I can't lift or bend due to Jazzy's position on my pea-sized bladder and under my ribs. I am one of those moaning, groaning women making involuntary noises like I'm nine months pregnant. Oh dear!
Well I've been trying to be proactive and cure this bout of loneliness. I decided I was going to get on the first cheap flight to Melbourne to visit my Mum, but then while telling DH, we both thought about that damn swine flu and decided against it. Mum is coming up to stay after the birth so I will have her support and like Grub says Townsville is not that far away for visiting my sister and dad. the best news is, my niece from Melbourne just made the state hockey finals and is going to Townsville in two weeks for the competition and my brother is going up with her, so it's kind of all coming together for an unplanned reunion and DH and I are taking the time to go down. Unfortunately Mum is babysitting the other kids in Melbourne and has to work so that's a bugger. I'm going to work on getting her up here sooner than planned so that's my little ray of sunshine for the day Indulgent ramble over
Soooo exciting for you Kaydee, knowing you have your induction booked for tomorrow. All the best for a fantastic birth experience. Ha ha, you did hear right, we have been living without telly for over a year. We bought a you beaut new flat screen and it had to be repaired three times on warranty and finally the warranty ran out while waiting for the latest return. Each time it had to be repaired, it was sent away for like 6 weeks. the choice was, get angry...we tried that, get super motivated to follow-up and make threats, nah not our style...or throw the damn thing out on the lawn...yay...that was a great feeling I do miss comedy though. Good luck for tomorrow.
