    Hey Dusty...

I never had a moment of morning sickness and haven't really had even sore BB's... and my BB's aren't even that big comparatively but what I did get was the on off tiredness and pure exhaustionin the first 12weeks.. not every day but every couple of days and I just had to believe that it was lil Krackers natural rhythm of growing and resting... I came to enjoy the unpredictableness of nature and feeling that a growth spurt had occurred... Listen to your body and try to enjoy the wonder of nature... Sorry for all the Earth mother stuff but it really has been how I have been feeling... All very Zen... lol...

A quick shout out Good luck Grub... I'm thinking of you...

Dusty -=- I wouldnt worry too much.. I know that the signs and symptoms are comforting but there are no rules at all about how much or often or when you should get them.. 9 weeks is supposed to be a very good milestone anyway so if i were you id be celebrating

LM-=- Had to laugh at your 9wk5day belly being bigger then the skinny milinky preggos on magazine covers! I swear they just shove pillows up models tops cuz none of them have an inch of fat on there legs or arms or face if it were real youd think theyd be falling over frontways! I had the same thing at 9 weeks I was well ahead in size but now I find myself below average for 21 weeks LOL.. Gotta love the variety of preggy stages!

    Grub....................

AFM =- Its so hot today! DS just fell asleep insisting he have a blanket even tho his little head is dripping so i put the fan on him to cool him off a bit and pulled the blanket off him when he was well and truly passed out.. Finally finished the dregs of my chrissy shopping last night.. It was crazy, driving there I had to avoid 3 stoned/drunk teenage 15 or so looking girls stumbling across the road unaware i was anywhere near them.. about 3 cars doing crazy stunts and acting like ****ers.. then when I got to the mall I could barely move from all the people pushing and shoving and grabbing at things! But luckily all I needed some things for the 2 partys we're having (biscuits, lollies, roast lambs, vegetarian roasts, fruits, drinks etc etc) I think I may have missed a couple of things but at least I wont be fighting for them come christmas eve, ill just pick them up later today when it cools down a bit..

Now I just have to avoid eating all the yummys in the house before the actuall parties!

Hope alll are well.. Pop on again soon

kyra - poor old DS - there's nothing like a child for logic! Super skinny people who are heavily pregnant always bring beetles into my mind, who if they get on their backs can't right themselves. I worry that they might get stuck....

We're having an early family Christmas dinner tomorrow as we're off to Perth for actual Christmas, and won't have the furbaby with us. Sadly, the idle british postmen are on strike again, and we have very few presents to open. not that I'm a child or anything...

Dusty~ Its hard not to worry when you have already had things go wrong in the past.Me too! I worry all the time and am forever checking to see that my symptoms are still 'there'.I havent hardly had any sickness and my boobs are sore but not as sore as they get before a period. They tend to hurt, first thing when i get up then late at night but not really through the day. I only feel slightly nautious when i smell something and the only 2 strong symptoms i have is extreme tiredness and constant trips to the loo.
I had my first scan last tuesday and had a lovely heartbeat with a good size bub and my ivf specialist said that when a heartbeat is found, your 90% off the way there so the mc rate is only 10%.Thats pretty good,i think. My new pregnancy book i just bought says, however that if your 8 weeks and a heartbeat has been found the chance of a baby at the end of your pregnancy is a massive 97%.
Try not to stress. You probably felt reassured by the scan and didnt think of the symptoms so much, until now, your thinking about it again and starting to worry until the reassurance of the next scan.I felt great about my scan and only 3 days later have started wishing for the next scan in a few weeks to hurry up,so i can be reassured again!

Hope you take it easy.I didnt have any symptoms when i had my son 12 yrs ago.I even had bleeding for 2 weeks so i didnt know i was pg until about 8 weeks.

    Hello ladies!

Just wanted to throw a challenge out here! I think I have just experienced the most ridiculous hangover of LTTC anxiety. Can anyone beat me??

OK I am 36 weeks pregnant today. I have a baby that I can feel moving inside me daily for most of the day. My obstetrician and endocrinologist saw me today and were extremely happy with the baby and me. The baby is now 2/5 engaged and I have pubic pain showing I am getting ready for birth.......
However today I am starting to feel what feels like period pain and my boobs are hurting. So what is my first thought?????........................ 'OH NO my period is coming I am not pregnant!!!!!'

Now is that just completely ridiculous or not? LOL!!! LTTC never goes away!!! I have been fighting that thought all day everytime I get a crampy feeling or twinge in the boobs!!! I don't think I will believe fully I was pregnant until the baby is in my arms!

Dusty - sounds like the placenta is taking over! Which is good news! Symptoms are reassuring and it will be hard for you now until you can feel the baby move. I used to get through that time between symptoms and feeling the baby move by looking forward to hearing the heartbeat at my antenatal visits. But those visits were so far apart too!!!

Smithy - Poor you Not long to go now....I hope you start to feel better soon.

Kyra - you are brave putting on two parties!!!

Londonmiss - I was massive from about 9-10 weeks as well. At least we get a good amount of wear from our maternity stuff!!!

Mitf - great news about the scan. Next time you won't need to overdose on water though!! Much more comfortable!!

Greenslw- glad everything is going well and you have been given another week. I got downgraded today to midwife care rather than specialist care (although they still won't let me give birth in the birthing centre) because I was also doing well. It is nice when that happens hey?!

    Belly rubs everyone!!

Poppyfairy - you are right, you win this weeks bonkers award that's hilarious. How funny that our first thoughts are always of failure!

I'm grumpy. Our 'Christmas Day' has been interrupted as DH has had to go in a taxi to the airport to drop his passport off with UPS as it needs to be taken to London urgently as the Indian embassy have decided that you can only apply for a business visa from your country of permanant residence. We're still not sure if he needs to be there in person. How damn stupid is that in a world discussing blummin global warming. Utterly bloody pointless bureacracy. So I'm sat here listening to Christmas Carols to try and get in the mood. I'm having one of my very very rare homesick moments as everyone keeps sending pics of home in the snow.

Anyway. Ought to buck up and go and tidy some of the dogs devastation. Hope you are all well. Hope you are pushing Grub and not reading this....! Lani - hope all is going well with the baby.
