Hey girls, haven't been able to find time to post for a few days.
Firstly, huge, huge huge congratulations to Chez and Farmgirl such wonderful news!!! Wishing you both wonderful pregnancies! Wow, there are certainly great things happening this year! I wonder who else will be in here before the end of the year?
Miss_c - Oh cripes! I just realised how close we are to the 18th!! How are you feeling hun? Excited I bet! How are all your techniques for getting CB ready going? I hope you feel s/he's getting prepared to make his or her entrance. I'm so excited for you!
Scooby - sorry the pelvic pain is getting the better of you. I get it quite badly if I try to do too much. But the weather is definitely looking pool-worthy for this weekend, so I hope you get to have some nice swims.
Nixon - I've also got an anterior placenta, and I wasn't sure of movements until really late, although looking back I realise that I was feeling them. Don't worry, you'll be getting kicked like mad before you know it!
Mon - was your NT scan today hun? If so, I hope all went well.
Janie - great to hear that all is going well, and I hope your blood sugars continue to behave themselves!
BW - is it your last day of work tomorrow? How fantastic!! I just finished this afternoon, and I can't believe that I've finished. I hope your last day goes well.
m2c - I hope you're doing OK and feeling better about your BTs. Best of luck for your scan tomorrow, I'm sure that everything will be great, and you'll be so relieved.
LNB - best of luck for your BT tomorrow, not too long till your 12 week scan, I hope it's here before you know it.
Dusty - ah, the countdowns! I spent my first 20 weeks counting down to something. I hope that the week passes quickly and when you get to see that gorgeous heartbeat a lot of the anxiety will pass. It's great to pass each of those milestones, and I'm certain that all will be fine.
BG - great to hear that your OB appointment went so well, that must be a huge relief. Great to hear the UTI seems to be under control as well, hope the thrush stays well away. Best of luck for your GTT next week, hopefully all will be fine.
TL - the photo voucher sounds great, it'll be wonderful to have professional belly photos at 7 months!
Megan - great that you're getting some really definite kicks, but poor DH! That happens to my DH too. I think the baby can sense the pressure of DH's hand going onto my belly, and goes quiet.
Sorry to everyone I've missed, I hope you're all feeling great!
As for me, I finished work today!! It feels really weird, and I think it's going to bring home that this is really happening, and very soon too. It'll be great to be able to have an afternoon nap if I need to. I'm also really proud of myself - had Ob checkup on Tuesday and there was no sugar in my urine, and pin pr*ck test showed good blood sugar levels. I've also lost half a kilo on my low-GI diet, and Ob said baby's size is looking closer to dates than it was last time (although still ahead). I feel like it's a real achievement, I've been so good with my diet after my GD scare, and if I can keep going like this, it should put a stop to all the 'your baby is too big, early induction' talk that was looking like starting. So all in all, a pretty good week!
