Sounds like your bub wants to be next Kimbe!

Thanks for that poo advice Sushee...I guess it's too late now! DH is already saying he wants no part of MCNs - 'cos he doesn't want to have to wash them!!

    Hi, me again lol
Tracy, I hope you can relax a bit hun, nine months is a long time to be stressed!!!!! Easier said than done I know but do try for your and your babies sake too. (not to mention those around you if you are anything like me when stressed lol)
Marcellus, I have a relaxation cd which I practiced endlessly for months to use for the birth. I got a good sleep everytime! I think the trick is to do it sitting up like in a yoga type position, I was all relaxed in my recliner and, well a bit too relaxed. Funny thing was the baby really loved the second track and danced heaps everytime that one came on then settled right down again afterwards. Cute!
I dont know what to do with myself today. I have sworn to not go anywhere or answer the phone cause everyone keeps interrogating me on when the induction will be and I want it to be a bit secret. Idont want all and sundry speculating on what is happening for the next day or so. I think I will do my nails clear and make sure my legs are hair free....hmm what else? check the bags are packed for the milliionth time? Had a good sleep last night but woke at 5am as did DH (neighbourhood dog barking) so we had a big chat before going back to sleep. Hope I can do the same tonight in a yucky hosp bed. I am going to miss my dogs while I am in there. I will be there for the usual time (4days?) plus the night before for induction plus however long the labour lasts.... so at least 4 maybe 5 nights aaarrrggghhh!I dont like hospitals much, well who does, but at least this one I know most of the staff there (being a small town) and everyone is really nice. Plus I know someone who had a c-sect yesterday will be there too.
I maybe back later girls if I cant sit still, otherwise I will see you on the other side of parenthood!!!!!
Sazz (a bit excited, can you tell?)

    Sazz...I love it...'the other side of parenthood'...fantastic!!!

Have a wonderful day filled with the most delicious anticipation that you can imagine!!! It's just priceless!

Thanks for everyone asking about Felix's teeth...man! Just when you think you're getting this baby thing vaguely under control!!! Poor little man is really struggling! Last night I think I was up pretty much every hour...I'm so hoping this is a stage! Thankfully, during the day he is just absolutely gorgeous!

I'll post some new photos in my gallery so you can see some updates!

    Cheers to all!

    New photos now uploaded!

Awww, smiling Felix is adorable!!!! Hope his teeth come through quick so you both get some rest soon, poor dear. It must be miserable feeling like that and not being able to do anything about it. Is he getting them early? Just wondering , I spose everyone is different.
Lenny, DH is agreeable to putting ON a mcn but is adament that he is not washing them. Oh well. My choice I guess. (he didnt mention taking them OFF, ??)
Well, off for a bit now. Cant sit here ALLLLL day. still 8hours before we go into hosp.......

    So excited for you Sazz!

I tried the relaxation thing sitting up - only dozed instead of full-on sleeping, so that's something . Instructor said it's fine if you sleep anyway. I know I'm not going to sleep through active labour or anything! i listen on my earphones so baby can't hear it - how funny that s/he dances to that sort of thing.

Lenny - you might want to point out that he doesn't have to do it by hand Luckily my dh is not remotely squeemish.

catch you all later. Sazz give bugalugs a big hug from us when you meet her

No abnormality detected!!! We still have to wait for the 2 week results but I googled it today and FISH results are thought to be 100% accurate so I'm hoping they are.

My DF is very happy because his dreams were right - it's a boy!!! I'm very happy too, but he's over the moon, apparently I've just made all his dreams come true!!!

Sayta - so glad your amnio went well, congrats on having little boy.

Kimbe - the pains might be braxton hicks, did your belly go rock hard it it did that's what it is.

Traceylee - hopefully you can try to relax a little although I can totally understand why you would be stressed.

Monnie - poor Felix getting his teeth & poor you with the sleep deprivation.
Is it worse now that you've been having good sleeps than when you first bought Felix home & had the sleepless nights?

Sazz - all the best hun, can't wait to hear from you & your little bubby.

    Jo - 28 (treated endo)
    Dh - 34

    Hi Girls,

    Just a quick one.

Satya; Yeah, fantastic news. Congrats on a great results and a little boy. What a wonderful day! You guys are over the worst of it now and you must feel a weight has been lifted off. Yippppppeeeee. Big hugs and big congrats again.

Sazz; All the best for the next few days. Hope all is well. You must be so excited with anticipation. Enjoy and hope all goes well for you.

Me; Bought some relaxation tapes today to take the edge off and then fell asleep on the lounge for two & a half hours. Anyway, I guess I needed it.

    Bye for now

    Hey DJTTC

No...it's definitely not worse now...although Felix is waking lots during the night, he settles incredibly quickly after a feed...unlike when he was first born and it would take a while to settle him.

So...although the sleep deprivation is a little tough (especially as I'm starting up some work next week!)...it's nowhere near as bad as the first few weeks as he settles so well!

Sazz - well no doubt you are in and labouring (if not fast, furious and finished that is!!) Hope holding your newborn is everything we all dream it to be...also glad the time finally came for you, your patience is endearing!

Satya - congrat's, a little man on the way. That's such wonderful news about your results, just great!

Marcellus - i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one to have had striking pain (even though it means you've also had pain, sorry!) I haven't had it again fortunately, so am guessing it was probably just ligaments stretching without my consent.

DJ - can't believe Jenna is 2 months already, the pic of her wrapped on the enormously huge bean bag is gorgeous. I'm with you on the Branxton hicks things, have had them down pat & regular for a while now, the pain I had the other day was nothing like i have had before, but, given it's not occured since mentioning it to you guys, i'm feeling a little better, and of course, bubba is still bounding around so i'm not too concerned now.

Traceylee - the relaxation tapes sound like a lovely idea. I might borrow some from the local library and check them out for myself

Lenny, pass on being the next due...Ltl Panda is gonna come through with the goods before me, i have no doubt!! How are you LtL P??

Well it's just constant rain in Sydney and the Mountains today, i have done nothing but lounge around, read and sleep (sorry for those of you at work!). DH and i sat yesterday and devised a 5 year plan covering everything from relationship, to finances, to family and holidays. It was really refreshing cause we haven't actually done that sort of thing before. We even sat and discussed our parental expectations for bubba, how we would like "situations" handled with her and how we can address MIL issues during those moments when we each want to scream at them!

Hope everyone is well, big hello to those that have been a little quiet lately, hope its cause you're all going extremely well with bub's and belly's growing.

I wonder if Sazz has her little bugs yet? Thinking of you today!

Great news on your amnio Satya! and congrats on the little boy.

Sounds like those relaxation tapes did the trick Tracey. Hope you're able to relax a bit. It's hard though, I'm sure.

Hope all the little babies are doing well.

Hey Kimbe. Glad you didn't get that pain again. I sometimes feel like Jelly is head-butting my down there. ouchie. Anyway, aches and pains seem to be a big part of pregnancy. And wow on the five-year plan. We will never manage anything like that. we went out and actually bought a few things we've been meaning to get for months last night and were so impressed with ourselves. That's about the best we can manage!

    Take care everyone
