Oh wow Mako, can't believe that Sage is already 8 months old!! My c/s is booked june 30, only 8 sleeps to go (if I ever get some sleep tonight that is!)

Arielle, hope all is well your way, I will have to check out the BA thread to see if there has been any news since your post

Well, DH finally finished bubs room! We painted some clouds on the walls (after a huge argument) and have put up the curtains on one window, with me having to track down some more supplies to hang up the 2nd set of curtains. Cot went up tonight, just have to bring home the mattress, and the change centre/bath got put together as well, with me supervising DD packing if full of goodies. Just have to pack some clothes into the drawers and it should be all done. Setting it all up today, made if feel real, which is something I think I've been missing. All of a sudden I'm kind of starting to feel a little calmer about the c/s, which is nice also. Hope it stays that way LOL!

Ok, off to check out the rest of the forum and then hopefully off to bed for some well deserved rest

CONGRATULATIONS Smegs! That's such great news, and very inspiring for me to hear right now @ 4 days past my due date. Thanks for sharing! I wish you all the best in the future!

Nic - glad to hear reality is hitting. That's when it starts to get very exciting and scarey all rolled into one. Thanks heaps for your kind words in my blog. You and all the wonderful other chickies have helped me keep sane!

BW, Shannon & everyone else - how are you travelling?

Mako - thanks for the gentle LV's! I need all I can get right now.

STILL nothing happening at all!! Ob moved things around a bit yesterday (I am assuming it was a S&S), and I had a bit of bloody discharge happening. He also said my cervix is nice and thin, and I'm 1.5cm dilated, so I was sure we were going to get some movement at the stations very soon. NO SUCH LUCK!! Looks like bub is trying to teach Mum a very valuable lesson about patience. Something I've always been hopeless at. LOL!! Atleast we know that we'll have bub by Tuesday next week at the latest, as we're booked in for induction that day if nothing has happened. The bonus there would be that it's July 1st. Something, I'm not overly fussed about, but hey, would be nice for a little extra cashish all the same.

Hope to be back with some good news soon. I'm off to see the accupuncturist.

hi everyone, wow arielle 4 days over already...im so sorry for being slack. I have been popping in but Emma pipes up everytime I try to type and she is a "hold-me-constantly-mummy-nevermind-the-rest-of -the-world" baby. So i am doing my best.

I will say this, prepare for the worst or however long they will leave you, then anything else is a bonus...remember emma was 11 days overdue and even then she didnt want to come.

I cant believe you and nic are nearly there, my how the time has flown....but Emma is a month this week can you believe it!! good luck with the labours ladies...remember its like doing a big poo (lol how romantic!!)

And congrats to all the newbies, this thread was looking a little desparate a while back.

Wow mako, sage must be massive now, we are still in 0000 and 3/4 of what we have is 000 and above so she is getting swamped...8 months already seems like only yesterday.

Have been sadly neglectful of this thread lately... but the reason for the insane tiredness became clear yesterday. I'm severely anemic! Have started on iron tablets and hoping for an improvement soon. I'm sick of sitting around feeling breathless, tired and dizzy!

We had another scan today... and our baby is now person-shaped! We got to see it move... all curled up in a tiny ball as though it was trying to sleep! Measured a little bit behind dates, but they tell me that's nothing to worry about, as long as it's within a week. Heart rate was 160bpm... seems incredibly fast!

    Off to rest some more...

BW, so happy to hear about your scan yesterday, and awww at how cute that you got to see bub moving and that it has a person shape...

Not much happening here. feet are still swollen, we leave tonight for our appointment tomorrow and I am staying with my parents until we go to hospital on monday morning. Got our paperwork from the anaesthetist this morning, with his estimate of fees...OMG!! maybe I should just take the quote in with me and look at it to knock me out instead of him lol. I had a cry after reading it all, still absolutely terrified of the whole needle in my back and hand thing. DD informs me that if she can be brave when she gets cuts and scratches and bleeding and bruises, then I can be brave too! I'm just going to have to remember her sweet words of encouragement when the time comes.

anyway, will try to drop back in quickly before leaving tonight. If not, will catch up with you all when we get home, and Arielle, I will have you in my thoughts as well, and can't wait to catch up on your news about LS

Sorry for barging in here but I was just stalking BW to hear the latest. Now I can rest easy knowing that all is well! I got a bit worried when your journal stalled around June 7th. Now I can see why... hope your iron levels rise and that you feel better soon BW!

Sorry, Bath. I figure you're not the only one, so I'll post an update shortly. Each day is a little better than the one before, but there's still a long way to go before I'm feeling completely normal again.

Nic, good luck. I'll be waiting to hear how things go, and praying that the needles don't freak you out too much.

    Arielle... any action yet?
