Oh dear Jo, funny though. We didn't put our tree up this yr or last yr, but did the yr before, when our kitty was 1yo. It's only a fake one though. Well DH saw him run full pelt at it & dive in mid air all 4's spread & landed 1/2 way up on it, hehe, wish I saw it.

Geez Sal, that is gonna be a tough month for u, hope everything goes smoothly, well as much as it can.

Sal, Jo and Shazz THANK YOU! I reckon they are pretty cute too!

I think it will be until they are around the 36 week mark, so another three weeks to go. In that time, I have to establish them on breast feeds.

Noah weighed in today at 2kgs!!!!! The doctor thought I could definately push them both up to 2 BFs a day, so another big WOOHOO.
Ivy weighed in at 1870gms. and is a BF trooper!

Funny story - whilst returning my breakfast back to mother nature (ie down the drain) my DS was making gagging sounds right next to me as he is copying everything that I'm doing atm. Well he got bored of this quickly and decided to throw a whole roll off loo paper down the drain. However this didn't alleviate his boredom (I was there quite a while) so he decided to close the toilet lid on my head - very firmly too. I ain't talking no plastic lid either - it is one of those old ceramic ones that weighs a ton. So now I'm trying to hold back the lid, hold back my hair and hold back my son whilst not holding back my breakfast and worrying about a blocked drain. I've got a bugga of a headache now from the lid.

    But I'm loving it......

you poor thing - what a mess - I have been there but not with a toddler in tow and the lid cracking me on the skull.

I had another scan today because I could feel a firm lump in my lower right side since weekend slightly tender on palpation.Monday I saw my lovely GP and she didn't know ? but I was seeing Ob anyway - saw OB yesterday and he said wasn't my uterus -too early but said watch it ?

Today it feels bigger and higher up than w/end - go the Drs but my GP wasn't there. I saw another and got sent for abdo u/s - fasted 6 hrs - and U/s lady who I saw a few weeks ago for breast u/s remembers me and asks why am I here.

Then proceeds to abdo scan - and says should have been obstetric scan - and it was fibroids in top of my uterus. She could still see everything tho bladder was empty. Heartbeats were good - one bub is on right dates other a few days behind (could be more curled up she said). I will crack open the report in an hour when I pick it up.

Came back to work eat /drink again - starving. Lucky nausea is okay atm.

Great news on Noah & Ivy -go you little wonders

Tam & Sal - you are both so close to your magical day now

Hope your move goes smoothly Sal - nice to be close to your bro & sis's

Shell - going to check out your pics now

    Trish,
Good news that your twinnies are ok. It is very normal for one to be smaller than the other. The girls AND Ivy and Noah were like that.

What will happen with the fibroids? I guess if they are not causing any probs they will just leave them alone, just monitor them.

Shell, am going to look at your site now.

Hi girls, was AWOL yesterday...my computer has completely carked it. It won't even start to boot up. Very depressing. Anyhow, have stopped sulking for the time being and am using mum's computer. Seems that the first thing DH and I will have to save up for once we get over the financial shock of the move to Canberra will be a computer (yay...NOT).

Tiff, wow that is amazing how much weight bubs are both putting on. And a big woohoo in anticipation of them getting those tubes out in a few weeks. They'd be allowed to go home not long after than, right?

Trish, I know a woman who had 3 very large fibroids, found only on u/s once she was pg, and they didn't pose any trouble at all during the pg. Actually I thought that the problem with fibroids is that they reduce the chance of falling pg, rather than any other complication?? Good to hear that both bubs are doing well.

Humphrey, sorry had to laugh at your porcelain god story!

Shell, will check out your piccies now...

Hi to all girls, sorry won't be a long post as we are experiencing heatwave conditions here...am a sweaty mess already!

    thanks Shell

Rats about your computer Sal - - I hope it happens quickly for you ( a new computer I mean )

Thanks Tiff & Sal for fibroid info.

LOL my MIL just rings me and says watch - "quickly - on Today Tonight - tonight there is a woman with 2 sets of quads -under 3 and it will give you an idea what it will like for you" - WT heck - we only have 2 babies in here and DS will be 13 by the time they arrive.

I should have checked caller ID ( :-k must get it at home )

    Hi all,

Sal, OH NO about the computer, esp seeing how you're so close to B-day! How will we know what's going on with you? I too am hoping for a quick, possibly miraculous, solution to your computer problems.

Trish, interesting about the fibroids. I hope it doesn't cause any complications. Like Sal, I have heard that it doesn't. My XSIL had them during her pg and it didn't seem to to effect her any, so that you're the same.

Humph I too had a bit of a giggle about your predicament, though I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time. Nausea was my constant friend in the first 12 weeks, but I only had one episode of chucking, and I only made it to the sink, not the loo. I don't envy you, chickie.

Tiff, I can't stop looking at Ivy and Noah's pics. They are so cute and so precious! And it sounds like they're going great guns too! They seem so alert and awake in their photots. I hang out everyday for more piccies! I'm so addicted!

Gab, you too! I'm so clucky with little babies at the moment! I can't get enough of their pics! Would love to see a few more of Tomas when you have a minute (though I'm sure that's easier said than done when you're a new mum!)

Well, no news from me. Which is always good news Sleeping is still a bit of a struggle, and heartburn sets in after most meals. I've gone from "cute' pregnant to 'huge' pregnant in the last week, or so my colleagues tell me, but aside from that, all is well. I've gotten the baby's capsule and some knicks and knacks, and DH will be painting baby's room over the Chrissy hols. So all travelling along nicely.

If I don't speak to you all after this, please everyone have a wonderful Christmas!

    love
    sushee

Oh no Sal, & like Sush said, so close to birth. It's not something simple like a full hard drive or a power cable that's come loose is it I wonder? Yikes on the timing for you.

Sush yay on the nursery reno's comin along, that's great.

Oooohhh Tam, hope I don't miss the excitement. :-)

Well may not be online til after xmas (or new year). Off to SIL's 6am Sat, back Mon arvo, then see more rels on Tue & on hols til new year. Will have to try to remember to do a new mthly belly shot on Tue though, yep mine has shot out in the last 2wks too, luckily weight gain still staying at 2kg/mth, extra 9kg now & 4mths to go (8kg?). Hopefully BF will help to get rid of excess afterwards, hehe. Wonder if being overdue runs in family? Mum's 4 were 3wks o'due, her sis was born 3wks o'due, my nephew born 1+wks o'due, oh well, at least now-a-days they dont let u go too far over. :-)

Soooo Merry xmas & happy new year everyone. 8-)

Have a lovely holiday Shell -we will miss you

Tam - sounds like Declan is ready and waiting - did the oB say how long after head's engaged the babies might be born ?

We just watched Today tonight with the Q mum - Quads and the new second set now at home (though sadly only 3 survived) and another toddler under 3 too (with her 'triplet' dolls).

DH then asked DS (12) how would he like two - after he checked it was for real ... as we hadn't really told him

DS says " man that's gonna hurt "

ME *** spluttering and spraying my dinner and it was not 'V'***

    More information please -says DH

DS "it's going to hurt mum"

!!! he has watched the human body a few times since he was 5 !!!

***DH just comes over to check if I am telling my friends - 'it was so funny' ***

PS ... LOL Last year when we told DS about ~Charlotte~ he says incredibly disgusted "do mean you do it ?"
