Morning ladies. I hope you are all well. It's really autumnal here in Melbourne, quite a lovely morning. I had what I think might be a practice contraction yesterday, which seems a bit early, although I might have been imagining it. It felt like someone cracked an egg on the top of my uterus, and a strange sensation passed down it from the top. Is that what they feel like? I was in a taxi at the time so couldn't really investigate with some poking of the belly

I started thinking about my packing list yesterday. You know you are British when one of the first things I packed was some decent teabags in a ziplock bag.... When my friend was in the Royal Womens last year, I kept getting given tea so weak, it would have counted as washing up water in our household, so thought I'd better do that. I'm quite sure that their baby delivery skills are better than their tea making though... hopefully!
