Oooh Kyra - that sounds very promising! Does it hurt yet, or is it more of a temporary thing? Does it feel like the start of a birth? If you've started, I won't bother changing the list until you have popped and I have both names to change

Go and eat something filling and have a bath whilst you have a chance. And make sure your DH knows his most important task (after looking after you of course) is to make sure that you or someone else gets to a laptop to update your bellyfriends when it happens!

lm -=- no not really hurting yet just enough to think something different is going on these last couple days.. TBH i have no idea.. I fear getting my hopes up for nothing but at the same time I am so wishig this is the beggining and Ill go in the next few days..

Ill keep you all posted dnt wry with any luck things will progress tonight or tomorow and Ill be in and out of hosp in a few days and back home with bubs to announce by then! crossing fingers its not another false alarm!

anyway I havnt stopped eating since i concieved LOL so thats all fine the bath idea sounds good tho I wry about my waters breaking..

Wantababy2- awwwww, I was so touched to see you asked after me and lil Colt We are doing fine now. Soooo glad to be home. I hope your friend and her bubs are holding up ok. It is a horrible and scary thing knowing that your blood is trying to attack your baby Im sure everything will be fine though as they can do so much for this situation now. How odd to hear of 2 cases in a month! It is supposed to be very rare now days...

LM- great to see everything is going well I cant believe you are already 27 wks! It seems like yesterday you got your bfp. And dont worry about the size of your thighs. I bet all y'all when it comes to weight gain during pregnancy lol. And my thighs are still WAYYYY huge. And dimply lol.

Paula - I love your ticker. So cute. And how nice to have lunch with added baby snuggles! In no time flat it will be your bubs that you are cuddling and you will be wondering where all that pregnancy time disappeared too. It really seems to go sooo fast - after its over LOL.

Lise- Phew, only 17 days to go at work - how wonderful! I bet you cant wait. Once you stop work you are really on the homeward stretch. ANd its so great to lie around all day in your jimjams eating bon-bons and pondering the size of your growing butt. Oh hang on, that was ME! hehehe - projecting again

Kyra - OMG. I came on here in the nick of time!!! What is happening with you is exactly what happened with me! Just try to relax and have something to eat and drink. Advice I didnt take and lived to regret. You know that when the contractions get to about 5 mins its time to get your butt to the hospital right? Is DH home with you now? I am getting all nervous and excited for you! SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!

AFM - Colt is doing great. He is still pretty small (or "compact" as his daddy says) but he is feeding like a ... mad feeding thing, and is cute as a button. He barely cries at all but is a really squawky wriggler. He is only waking once after his 11.30 feed so I am getting some sleep at night. THANK GOD. On an unusal note, he has no eyebrows. Not sure what that means but I have no qualms in drawing them on if they dont grow in before he starts school. JOKE!

Well speak of the devil and he squawks and squeezes out a big fart. I think thats my cue girls. Time to get out the boobs again. Sorry if i missed anyone out in the persies, I have worse baby-brain now than I did when I was preggo! Oh dear, someone is trying to wake the dead with angry howling, better dash.

Sammie - so glad you and Colt are home and doing well, though where are our pics?! Seriously, it must be so lovely to be home having 'normal time' after your experience, yay for you. And don't worry - I plan on spending my six weeks off eating as much as possible and lying around doing as little as possible. They might have to crane me to hospital, lol.

Londonmiss - stop making me jealous, though i'm glad you're still having fun with DH. I do wish mine wasn't quite so concerned with the Chicklet sometimes, I swear sometimes he just thinks of me as a vessel for his baby!

Paula - lucky you getting cuddles, I haven't had any baby hugs for ages, I so can't wait till I can squeeze the Chicklet all day long!

smithy - hehehe, you funny thing!

At work googling baby capsules, think we're going to hire one for the first six months and then buy one. What are others doing?

Yes, we're hiring one from Port Phillip council. Even though we don't have a car, and legally don't have to use one in a taxi, it seems that it would be useful to have one. Although I have to say that this is the one baby related task that DH has, so we might be walking home from the hospital with the baby in a sling....

TMI .... I have white flakey, um, flakes on my nipples this morning. Is this breast milk leaking? If so, why only one boob?!! God will never fail to surprise me with this pregnancy lark.

Sammie - delighted to hear you are well. As a short person, I think compact is the perfect size and everyone else is inefficienctly tall

Lise - see if you can get double discount on the crane and send it down to me ... I was coming back from Adelaide yesterday and went straight to work, missing proper breakfast and lunch. And realised that until dinner, I ate nothing but sugar and salt nonsense. No wonder my wee is the colour of a rainbow. Porridge for me for breakfast, salad for lunch and something healthy for dinner.

lise not hiring a capsule. We bought a baby seat thats suitable from birth so happy to put Tiana in there from day one.
LondonMiss hope you manage to stick to your super healthy diet today. I try, but never seem to be able to eat my vegies at night. Ill make them and put them on the plate, take two bites and cant eat them anymore. Salad on the side is about as much greens as i get at night.

Have just bought online a very cute horse carousel for Tiana's room. Also bought a cushion for the feeding chair we have. All these little things are so cute!

Im still here... Nothing is progressing yet.. Im still getting the same niggly pains every 10-15 minutes but again they dnt really mean much.. Had my Midwife appointment today she told me it is most likely bubbi trying to move down into the birth canal.

Anyway Ive gone from 3/5 engaged at 37 weeks to 1/5 engaged today WHAT! going backwards haha dont go back UP bubbi!!! but the midwife said all of this means nothing and I could still go into labour at any point so that made me feel better..

I feel like day and night now Im just sitting here waiting for something.. ANYTHING .. cant be long I really see it creeping up on me any moment now but the waiting part is driving me NUTS!!

It might be. Try squeezing you nipple very gently and see if anything comes out. It might just be dry skin - my whole body seemed to need moisturising when i was pg.

Londonmiss, earlier I had dry flakey nipples and the lovely ladies here suggested Lansinoh. I use it every second day or so and things are much better!

Hello to everyone else. Bit rushed this morning, on my way to my GP for, you guessed it, ANOTHER sinus infection. I'm still on antibiotics from the last one so not sure how that works... Will post properly once I'm back.

Hey ladies

Well it's been ages since I've been on here. Have been so busy lately. Also, DH is now in the middle of doing uni assignments, so chances are I won't be posting much as he will be on the laptop all the time. Usually my only chance of getting on is whenever his AFL team is playing, and they just happen to be playing tonight, so I've been able to use the computer.

Have missed way too much so won't try and cover everyone. Sorry about that in advance.

Congrats to Lilmiss on the birth of your little boy. Hope everything is going well.

Seph - Welcome back!! I always wonder about you and how you're going. Glad everything seems to be going well for you though. And yay for someone else having a boy on here. Seems like there are so many baby girls expected over the next couple of months.

Lise - hey there. You seem to be very unlucky with sinus infections / flu / colds. Must be very frustrating. Sorry to hear your 3D scan wasn't what you expected but I'm sure you're having a little girl. We are due to have a 3D scan in about a week and a half, and I too am hoping to reconfirm the sex of the baby. Cannot bring myself to buy anything blue until we have that scan and double check... that's just me though - super paranoid.

Hi to all the other lovely gals in here.....

AFM - pretty tired at the moment actually. Life has been hectic and I don't seem to be getting as much sleep as I'd like. Weekends are always busy so I never seem to feel rested by the time Monday comes around.

Still waiting on our nursery funiture to come in. We were told it would take 2-3 weeks, but it has now been 5 weeks and still haven't heard anything. Called them last week and was told they had received half the stuff, but were still waiting on the rest. Well they haven't called so I guess the rest hasn't arrived yet. Am thinking I might pop in over the weekend and see what's going on.

Am also feeling much more baby movement now which is very reassuring. Was bugging me a couple of weeks ago when I wasn't really feeling anything.

Might leave it at that, as I still have a load of washing to hang out as well as unstacking the dishwasher. Bring on a sleep in tomorrow!!!

DH took me out for dinner last night to a super lovely restaurant. I rang the changes by wearing a blue tent instead of my normal black tent. Ended up with more food on my belly than in my mouth practically. The waitress came round with that funny little strigil type thing that they scrape up crumbs off the table with, and I swear she looked at my belly and wondered if she should do that too

My nesting continues apace, but it's more sort of planning and stuff. I'm very jealous of you girls who are having a babies room and can decorate and make it look pretty. Post lots of pics so I can get inspiration for when it does finally happen! Hope you all have a lovely long weekend with lots of rest! I've slept for eight straight hours with only one half asleep trip to the loo which is a gold star night for me, and only Little Miss I want to play football for England has woken me up with her kicking. But that's kind of cool. And it means I can take DH tea in bed which means I start the day off on brownie points too ...

SAMMIE~ I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad to hear from you.You really had me worried when you had been crying while typing your last post with a sick bub,then we dont hear anything for so long.I have asked,and asked but no word of how you were.I know i dont know you but i just couldnt stop thinking of you and baby Colt.I was telling my mum about ypur story and even she started asking me daily..."have you heard from the lady yet?" .... I prayed for you and Colt and am just over the moon that he is doing well....even WITHOUT eyebrows!! LOL. Oh good.I can relax now.(Deep sigh).Take care.Please post pics if you can. Are you on FB? Londonmiss~ My bras are needing washing nearly every day as they are getting yellow flaky dried colostrum on the insides.When i take off my bra i have droplets of clear fluid on my nipples and have done so for a few weeks now.You said thers nothing except a horified DH when you squeeze? Thats o.k.Everyones different.I was "dripping" and soaking tshirts from 6 months on with DS but not this time...yet,so maybe thats my "thing'.LOL

Smithy~ Thanks for your post.It was very amusing.DH can happily use his own hand,i think.he has for this long without me.Im not that sweet to do 'favours'.LOL He is peeing me off lately so i DEFINATELY wont be giving favours.x

Everyone else i have been busy lately and havnt read the whole lot of posts...just skimmed through the shorter ones,but i will catch up later to see where everyones at.
