    Hey ladies

Well it's been ages since I've been on here. Have been so busy lately. Also, DH is now in the middle of doing uni assignments, so chances are I won't be posting much as he will be on the laptop all the time. Usually my only chance of getting on is whenever his AFL team is playing, and they just happen to be playing tonight, so I've been able to use the computer.

Have missed way too much so won't try and cover everyone. Sorry about that in advance.

Congrats to Lilmiss on the birth of your little boy. Hope everything is going well.

Seph - Welcome back!! I always wonder about you and how you're going. Glad everything seems to be going well for you though. And yay for someone else having a boy on here. Seems like there are so many baby girls expected over the next couple of months.

Lise - hey there. You seem to be very unlucky with sinus infections / flu / colds. Must be very frustrating. Sorry to hear your 3D scan wasn't what you expected but I'm sure you're having a little girl. We are due to have a 3D scan in about a week and a half, and I too am hoping to reconfirm the sex of the baby. Cannot bring myself to buy anything blue until we have that scan and double check... that's just me though - super paranoid.

Hi to all the other lovely gals in here.....

AFM - pretty tired at the moment actually. Life has been hectic and I don't seem to be getting as much sleep as I'd like. Weekends are always busy so I never seem to feel rested by the time Monday comes around.

Still waiting on our nursery funiture to come in. We were told it would take 2-3 weeks, but it has now been 5 weeks and still haven't heard anything. Called them last week and was told they had received half the stuff, but were still waiting on the rest. Well they haven't called so I guess the rest hasn't arrived yet. Am thinking I might pop in over the weekend and see what's going on.

Am also feeling much more baby movement now which is very reassuring. Was bugging me a couple of weeks ago when I wasn't really feeling anything.

Might leave it at that, as I still have a load of washing to hang out as well as unstacking the dishwasher. Bring on a sleep in tomorrow!!!

    Enjoy the weekend ladies.

    Wishes xoxo

Hello all. Hello wishes, and hello Paula - thanks for telling us the name! Do 'real' people know or is it a BB secret? I won't tell anyone if it's a secret he he he

DH took me out for dinner last night to a super lovely restaurant. I rang the changes by wearing a blue tent instead of my normal black tent. Ended up with more food on my belly than in my mouth practically. The waitress came round with that funny little strigil type thing that they scrape up crumbs off the table with, and I swear she looked at my belly and wondered if she should do that too

My nesting continues apace, but it's more sort of planning and stuff. I'm very jealous of you girls who are having a babies room and can decorate and make it look pretty. Post lots of pics so I can get inspiration for when it does finally happen! Hope you all have a lovely long weekend with lots of rest! I've slept for eight straight hours with only one half asleep trip to the loo which is a gold star night for me, and only Little Miss I want to play football for England has woken me up with her kicking. But that's kind of cool. And it means I can take DH tea in bed which means I start the day off on brownie points too ...

SAMMIE~ I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad to hear from you.You really had me worried when you had been crying while typing your last post with a sick bub, then we dont hear anything for so long.I have asked, and asked but no word of how you were.I know i dont know you but i just couldnt stop thinking of you and baby Colt.I was telling my mum about ypur story and even she started asking me daily..."have you heard from the lady yet?" .... I prayed for you and Colt and am just over the moon that he is doing well....even WITHOUT eyebrows!! LOL. Oh good.I can relax now.(Deep sigh).Take care. Please post pics if you can. Are you on FB? I have joined with BOC on FB just so i can see her baby Jagger.I wont know how to post pics either when my time comes so mine will be via FB.

Londonmiss~ My bras are needing washing nearly every day as they are getting yellow flaky dried colostrum on the insides. When i take off my bra i have droplets of clear fluid on my nipples and have done so for a few weeks now.You said thers nothing except a horified DH when you squeeze? Thats o.k.Everyones different.I was "dripping" and soaking tshirts from 6 months on with DS but not this time...yet,so maybe thats my "thing'.LOL

Smithy~ Thanks for your post.It was very amusing.DH can happily use his own hand,i think.he has for this long without me.Im not that sweet to do 'favours'.LOL He is peeing me off lately so i DEFINATELY wont be giving favours.x

Paula - we've chosen a girl's name, but if the Chicklet does happen to be a boy, well it might take a bit longer! We've got a shortlist of male names but nothing that we both really love...

Wantbaby - what's your FB details? Will have to look you up And what kind of dolls do you make? You mentioned something about selling them on ebay? Can we take a look? And Sammiejam - are you on FB too? We can sneak a peek at your pics there if you have any!

Londonmiss - where did you go for dinner? DH and I are really missing Melbourne at the moment, particularly all our favourite restaurants and bars. We're trying to work out the logistics of taking the Chicklet to our favourite French bistro when we go to Melbourne (it's very small and cosy and not really pram friendly...!).

Wishes - good to hear from you! Glad things are going well even if you are still waiting on your furniture! Ours took about 8 weeks to arrive, though they said it could take up to 12 so I was actually pleasantly surprised. Perhaps that should be their tactic and then when it only takes 4 weeks you'd be super happy!!

Kyra - hope you're feeling okay, well actually I hope you're sitting there with a little bundle in your arms, but i'm trying not to continually ask 'are you there yet' cos i'm sure it's terribly annoying. Needless to say am continuing to send all sorts of labour and other good vibes your way xx

AFM - enjoying the long weekend at home very much. DH even cooked me my favourite breakfast this morning (minus the fetta, but hey, can't complain!) and then I went back to bed and read a book until lunch time. Heavenly. We then did a spot of shopping for the Chicklet - she doesn't need any more clothes whatsoever but we had some Pumpkin Patch vouchers we had to spend by tomorrow so we bought her a super cute party dress to wear to DH's brother's wedding in Canada!

Big hello to everyone else, though it seems like there's really only a few of us on here nowdays doesn't it? Come on any lurkers, come join us so we don't get sick of each other

Enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies xx

I have a facebook page also which shows the dolls i make (reborn dolls and tiny handsculpted babies from polymer clay) That page is called Creations To Love. Would love to see you on there.Anyone interested just add me and send a message saying your bb name so i know who you are Oh,the sex of our baby is a secret so please dont mention the sex while posting. My family would die if they knew people know and not them LOL!!!

Weighed myself today.I have gained 7 kgs.Im glad im putting on weight as i lost 2kg in the first trimester and use to be worried.
Peanut is very active and today i could see and feel a hard bump poking out.I was singing to her and she kicked REALLY hard....not sure if she LIKES my voice or not?! Going off what my son and hubby say about my voice,im guessing she is begging me to shutup LOL

Regarding the 'Lurkers" as described earlier,i agree it WOULD be nice for you all to pop in.The list has all these names with dates yet i dont know quite a few of them. So come say hi.

Hi Ladies.. Thanks so much for all your lovely words of congratulations.. We have had a pretty rough start to all this as you know he was a biggen (he's actually 10pound and 1 point 2 ounces not 12 ounces as my husbands msg kinda read.. A lot of people thought the same..) I am very proud to say that i got my natural V birth after 12 hours and 46mins active labour.. we needed the ventouse at the end when I just thought I was too tired but turned out he had shoulder distocia and was unceremoniousy turned in my birth canal luckily by a lady with small hands'.. lol.. I had a 3rd degree tear and the worst pain was the local anesthetic for the ventouse extraction... That is the birth of my beautiful boy.. (full story to come when I post it in the birth stories thread) Unfortunately after Ethan's birth and having been stitched I ended up back in theatre as my stitched area had been leaking a lot of blood and by the time they realised it wasn't a normal PPH I had lost about 3.5 litres of blood and ended up with 2 blood transfusions totalling 7 units of blood and woke up in intensive care.. We have made it home after 3 1/2 days in hospital... Things are fantastic but I have to express every 3 hours and feed him formula until my milk comes right in cause he has an unsatiable appetiet and I call him my Lil suck monster... To answer what I think it was Wantbaby#2's question for names.. We chose Boh as his middle name as that was my FIL's name who passed away on the 3rd January this year from cancer.. very special to us..) I will be back at a point when I have some more time to be able to post some photos.. Good luck those that are getting close and trust your body.. Birth is amazing...
