Londonmiss, interesting that they don't charge you till you see a pic - and that you tried everything to get the little bean to turn over but to no avail Hope you see her face on Tuesday's scan!
Hi Paula, newborn clothes are so gorgeous. I am resisting the temptation to go shopping until the 12thw week at the very earliest. I'm on 2 weeks bed rest from a ruptured blood vessel and clotting, and only just borrowed some baby books this weekend gone.
Hey Renee, have you had a transvaginal scan yet? If not, when are you booked for one? I have had three so far - and I have one picture but it's very hard to make anything out. Every time I spot or cramp or get a twinge I panic. I don't think I'll stop worrying until I hold my jelly beans in my arms!
Hello Lise, I hear you when you say the first trimester is dragging. I am counting the days till 12 weeks. Only eight weeks to go. Bet you can't wait. Have you found out the gender of your bub or do you want it to be a surprise?
Hey ladies, can I ask how many of you have not had any morning sickness? I know it's only very early days for me but I've got nothing so far - and again I don't know if it's true or not but I thought if you were pregnant with twins given the higher hcg levels you would be more likely to get morning sickness? Any comments appreciated!

: Forgot to ask a question
Oooh LondonMiss, I really like the Emerald Pea****, but definitely not the place for a pregnant lady with all those stairs!! DH and I went to a pub yesterday and although we had a table he couldn't understand why I was ready to go after my two waters...!!
Paula - I make DH do that too, our baby has more jeans already than I do! Do your family and friends buy you lots of stuff because they know it's a girl?
Renee - I'm hearing you on the toilet!! I swear the Chicklet thinks my bladder is her own peronal trampoline and I seem to constantly need to pee only to get there and have the smallest trickle, it's driving me nuts
Brunette - we found out at our 20 week scan it was a girl, but then our OB confused us at our 28 week scan by
saying she thought it looked like a boy...! We're ignoring her and going with what the sonographer says And re the morning sickness - I had a couple of days about week 5 or 6 of feeling slightly nauseus but that was it. So don't think that because you don't have any there's something wrong, just enjoy!!
We had another OB appointment today and I must say I'm feeling rather pleased with myself and the chicklet!!
My belly is exactly the right size for 32 weeks and she's still in the right position - head down, bum up! And she's even started to engage, although there's still a looooong way to go obviously, lol.
Anyhoo, time for more reading. Figured I'd better do some re labour before classes start tomorrow. Have a good night all and hopefully Ky will be popping in soon with good news
Brunette i havent had any sickness at all this whole pregnancy and have actually felt brilliantly. Even when i was pregnant with twins for the first 8 weeks i still felt perfectly fine. Most say im lucky but believe it or not i have actually heard of lots more women that havent been sick at all than women who have been sick. I totally hear you though as i used to say i wanted desperately to have ms so that i knew all was well.. silly i know.. hang in there, im sure you will be fine. lise woohoo on all being well at your appointment and on bub behaving as she should
Felt lots and lots of movement yesterday that lasted allll day long which was brilliant! I was sitting at my desk all day staring at my belly and watching it move. Today she has been on the quieter side but still letting me know she is there
Hello all. Just back from a much more successful scan... Little Miss even gave me a wave she was in a better position, and much more active. She looks just like DH and absolutely nothing at all like me, but that's cool! I can't get over how much placenta and cord there is in there, it's like the seaweed forest in the lake in Harry Potter 4. Cord does seem a design flaw to me, I mean it's just asking to get wrapped about the baby isn't it??! When I'm GrandMaster of the Human Race and doing a redesign (which will include detachable babies and breasts so you can go for a run) I'll think about a better way of doing that. It goes without saying that I'll be looking at 'birth canals' for a potential redesign!!!
I've been up all night, I just could not sleep at all. For no apparent reason either. Ho hum. I am tired now, and think might put my feet up with my bag of goodies from the scanning place. Hope you are all well and sorry for the lack of personals x
Brunette - i actually don't have a scan booked at all, i go to see my GP today and will bombard him with questions im sure. I fell naturally in the end so my IVF clinic did my inital BT's and that was all.
Londonmiss - I'm glad that bub was better today and you got a good look. Power to you if you can redesign the female body and make it more "user friendly"
I have my first docs app this morning which i am excited about. I am still feeling average, i just wish i would be sick and get it over with, rather than feel like it all day.
Renee - hi I felt like that too. It was MUCH better if I made sure my stomach was never empty, so even half a glass of skinny milk or three dry apricots would make all the difference in the world. Hope it helps!
LondonMiss, great news you got a good vision of your DD. Are the pics in 3D now?
Hope you get all your questions answered at your GPs today, Renee. I always take in a list of questions when I see my FS (probably give them the poops but that's just the type of personality type I am!)
AFM, I had another scan yesterday. Was starting to feel really positive about things. Good and bad. I was two days shy of 7 weeks. Had another transvaginal scan (losing count now). This time could easily see both twins' hearts, egg yolks, sacs etc. Approx both now same size, about 8-9mm - how tiny. Bad news is still lots of blood/clotting and still giving me 80/20 take-home rate. He has told me he wants me to do bed rest until week 12 - another 5 weeks! He has told me that means only getting up to go to the loo and that's about it. We're moving house this Saturday. Now I'm having to take most of my leave I wanted to take after the bubs were born, but more worryingly of all is now I'm going to worry about them till week 12 - and then until they're born. I am so scared and don't want to allow mysef to get anymore attached because it's going to devastate me if they don't make it. Sorry for depressing post.
Hi Everyone, just popped in on a 5min break from work.
Brunette, I don't think I have morning sickness, maybe a bit of nausea after about 5pm or so, heaps of wind pains (TMI), and still spotting (brown).....
Sorry to hear that you're now on bed rest til 12 weeks - what are you going to do on the weekend for the move?
