Brunette - i actually don't have a scan booked at all, i go to see my GP today and will bombard him with questions im sure. I fell naturally in the end so my IVF clinic did my inital BT's and that was all.

Londonmiss - I'm glad that bub was better today and you got a good look. Power to you if you can redesign the female body and make it more "user friendly"

I have my first docs app this morning which i am excited about. I am still feeling average, i just wish i would be sick and get it over with, rather than feel like it all day.

Renee - hi I felt like that too. It was MUCH better if I made sure my stomach was never empty, so even half a glass of skinny milk or three dry apricots would make all the difference in the world. Hope it helps!

LondonMiss, great news you got a good vision of your DD. Are the pics in 3D now?

Hope you get all your questions answered at your GPs today, Renee. I always take in a list of questions when I see my FS (probably give them the poops but that's just the type of personality type I am!)

AFM, I had another scan yesterday. Was starting to feel really positive about things. Good and bad. I was two days shy of 7 weeks. Had another transvaginal scan (losing count now). This time could easily see both twins' hearts, egg yolks, sacs etc. Approx both now same size, about 8-9mm - how tiny. Bad news is still lots of blood/clotting and still giving me 80/20 take-home rate. He has told me he wants me to do bed rest until week 12 - another 5 weeks! He has told me that means only getting up to go to the loo and that's about it. We're moving house this Saturday. Now I'm having to take most of my leave I wanted to take after the bubs were born, but more worryingly of all is now I'm going to worry about them till week 12 - and then until they're born. I am so scared and don't want to allow mysef to get anymore attached because it's going to devastate me if they don't make it. Sorry for depressing post.

Hi Everyone, just popped in on a 5min break from work.

Brunette, I don't think I have morning sickness, maybe a bit of nausea after about 5pm or so, heaps of wind pains (TMI), and still spotting (brown).....
Sorry to hear that you're now on bed rest til 12 weeks - what are you going to do on the weekend for the move?

Brunette - I am glad your scan went well and its a good sign if you can see 2 heart beats still. Sorry about the bed rest that must be difficult epecially when it sounds like you have a lot happening ATM. It will be all worth it in the end though im sure.

Londonmiss- thanks yeah i find when i eat i feel ok but about 1/2 hr after i start to feel crap again. I am trying to nibble on dry crackers all day but i am getting really sick of those. Have just discovered how great plain chips and apple juice are though!

I went a saw GP yesterday and really didn't like him, i walked in and he asked what was wrong, i told him i was pregnant and he looked at me as if to say 'well what do you want me to do about it!!' I found a great pregnanct/baby doc in newcastle but her books were full so i told a little white lie about who recommended her and guess what she can fit me in!!!So i now have another doc app next thursday.

(can you tell I'm excited )

LondonMiss - woo hoo for you for finishing work!!! I don't know how I managed to fit work in, i've been so busy since I finished up, yet if you were to ask me what i've been doing it doesn't sound like much at all! Have you been a good little expat girl and voted this week?!

Renee - glad you got in to see the doctor of your choice, even if you did have to tell a little white lie. What she doesn't know won't hurt her! So another Newcastle girl huh - there were a few before but they've had their babies now. DH is from Newcastle so it's where all my in-laws are. I like Newcastle, just not the family there...!!

Brunette - sorry to hear about the blot clotting and the bed rest honey, but I definitely think you should take comfort in seeing the heartbeats and I know it's going to be incredibly hard, but make the most of your 'resting' time and relax as much as possible And post all day if you have to - afterall, you'll have LondonMiss and myself on here too since we'll be bored housewives

CK77 - hope all is going well and you manage to keep the nausea at bay!

Paula - glad to hear Tiana is making her presence known! I think the Chicklet is getting too big now for kicks etc., as I hardly ever feel them any more, though I can feel her moving around in there, and like you, I love watching my belly moving from side to side!

Miss K - how are you going? Still with us here?!

AFM - Well I think today I might start washing the baby clothes while it's (a little bit) sunny. Then again, the house magazine I subscribe to arrived yesterday and it seems a lovely day to snuggle on the couch reading. I seem to go through phases of day on/day off of cleaning and being active! Yesterday was a cleaning/baking today so it seems today might be a lazy day...

Hello to everyone else, hope you're having a super Friday in preparation for the weekend!

Hello all. Sorry for clogging up the thread with another post but as things are happening so fast, I thought I'd better get it up to date before I forget! I hope you are all well and had good weekends. We went to see Robin Hood yesterday, I think the British should fine hollywood a million pounds everytime they say something funny about English history, then we could wipe out our national debt by Christmas. I do like Russell Crowe, but the top off action was a bit better in Gladiator, if I'm honest It was entertaining though if you haven't seen it. Are we all going to see The Back Up Plan? I did laugh, on the trailer he turns up on the doorstep with WTEWYAE!!

Now, all I came on to say was (and I've forgotten who it was) don't let anyone put you off going on holiday!!! The world would have you believe that you can't do anything in pregnancy which is nonsense, if you just take it down a level or two, I don't think now is the time to do that boat trip down the Amazon that you've always wanted but I think metropolitan New York should be safe enough We flew to Perth when I was about 3 months though and I did get blown up with gas, so my GP recommended taking a de-gas before you fly, also I should have taken some looser clothes. And I don't have an iphone but the only app I can see has any use whatsoever is one that shows you where the nearest toilet is!!! my friend has one, it's wonderful!! Now I can't fly anymore, I have got the worst itchy feet I've ever had. I can't stop travel planning and reading travel books, just finished one on Venice... *sigh*.... So you have to go to New York on behalf of us fat ones who can't fly anymore and are dreaming about it... they have Tosca on at the Opera at the moment, doubt it will still be on in July but it sounds wonderful. Not that I'm jealous or anything

Leabie - congrats and welcome! This must be some kind of record, how many of you is that now?!

Renee - glad you're feeling a bit better, and hope you had a lovely birthday! I had my birthday just before Christmas and I was most annoyed at not being able to really celebrate...!!

S'rose - the sore bb's don't really go anyway, let me tell you! DH only has to look like touching them and I screech at him like a banshee, hehehe! And I personally think better your bottom work overtime than not at all, I had the opposite problem and it didn't seem to matter how much fruit I ate or what I did... And I agree with LondonMiss - travel while you can because all too soon you won't be able to fly and even driving will be uncomfortable. Talk to Mitf also - she went to Japan for a couple of weeks at 24 weeks and had no problems

Kitkat - I can't remember what my numbers were, I only ever had the one BT and I don't think they were that high, but I think it doesn't really matter - the main thing is as long as your FS and nurse are happy with them.

Paula - not long now till you can see Tiana again, very exciting! Fingers crossed you get better pics than we did, Chicklet was just so stubborn and facing my back the whole time!

LondonMiss - the list is looking good, won't be too much longer before you hand it over! While I think of it, are you still knitting? I was thinking about LTTTC days and I thought I had a memory of you knitting something...

Hello to everyone else, hope you're all cooking along nicely.

I'm at home today with the heater cranked up and a hot chocolate and I don't think i'll be venturing out of the house as it's really not a very nice day out there. I've just booked myself a pregnancy massage on Wednesday and this time it's at a day spa that has a proper pregnancy table with a special holllow for my belly so I can lie flat, so excited!!
