MITF and LISE~ Sending you both labour vibes.Try to relax...your babies will come VERY soon so sleep now as much as you can, because once bub arrives you wont get ANY..LOL.
I have a good friend who was due on the 23rd June and is still waiting. She has been getting contractions on and off for over a week and has lost her mucus plug.Bub has been fully engaged for a week also. She,like you LISE,has an app on Tuesday but if no baby by then is booked for inducing on Friday. She is getting frustrated also, but i cant believe the dr has let her go for so long already?? Maybe because its not an ivf baby, they dont worry as much.My ob,induces at 40 weeks but if your having elective c section you get in 2 weeks earlier. My ob,however is also my fertility dr so he knows my looooong 6 year history of trying to conceive.
Well wishing you both all the best.Id laugh if you both went on the same day!xxx
Mitf & lise - hoping your little one comes really soon, how exciting.
Glenny - your NT sounds like such a wonderful experience
Renee - hope your symptoms ease up soon, must be really frustrating
Wantbaby - 7lbs sounds like a great health weight
CK77 - what a bargin, I hope I don't have to spend too much on mat. clothing.
Mum-2- be - I know, I wish I could sit back and enjoy where I'm at.
AFM: Thanks for you support. I'm not sure that I'll post too much anywhere at the moment as I'm terrified that my pregnancy will end early. I'm in so much of a panic because I don't have any symptoms of being pregnant. I think I"ll ask for another HCG test. I don't even have sore .y. I thought everyone had sore .y. when they were pregnant. I guess I just want a sign that everything is okay. I don't have my 6-week scan until 14th July.
Lisa B- My .y. didn't get sore until about week 8/9 and my friend ho is now 18 weeks has had no sore boobs at all! I know how hard it is! Every little thing becomes a worry, I'm still a little like that. Just remember our motto- PUPO- Pregnant until proven otherwise!!
Just wanted to wish good luck to Lise and MITF that things start happening soon, and that both of your births go well!
Also, welcome to Lisa B.
Too much work to do this weekend and too little time, so I won't write anything else except to mention that my radiology place's person who does the nuchal scans quit, so I had to re-schedule for almost a week later. Grr. (It was supposed to be this Wednesday, but now I have to wait till a week from Tuesday.) On the bright side, they're sending me to a different location that is brand new and only does women's imaging, and which supposedly has a brand-new machine that scans at a much higher resolution than the old one (so the images are supposedly amazing). So hopefully it will be worth the wait!
Have a great evening, ladies.

PS. Oh yes, my dear LondonMiss, I know you're practically due yourself so probably have more important things to focus on. But if you should happen to update the list one more time, could you please change my due date from Jan 21 to Jan 19? My FS agreed with me that the proper calculation showed my due date at the 19th, despite what my clinic had told me initially. Thanks!

Well still hanging around like a bad smell. I have one more acupuncture session today in one last ditch to get this baby out before being medically induced. I've been reading articles on here about induction and scaring myself so I'm trying to stay away from the net for a bit! I am also starting to worry (like every mother does I'm sure) that there's something wrong with the chicklet - needed help getting in, now needs help getting out. Oh the joys of having way too much time on my hands...
Lisa B - I didn't have any symptoms either, not in the beginning nor really the whole way through. Read some of the posts from ladies on here with severe MS or confined to bed rest and you'll be very happy to be symptom free. It doesn't mean you're not pregnant!!
LISE~ Yes,stop reading things. You dont need the worry, although the people i know who have been induced, apart from stronger contractions, havnt had any problems.Just think..if bub hasnt come before wednesday night...Thursday is the day!! YIPPEE!!. It must make you feel a bit better knowing you have a date to work on at least.Even if an induction isnt your ideal method. Bub must know how damn cold it is out here..i wouldnt want to come out of a warm bath either..LOL
Thinkng of you constantly..xx
First - Lise and Mitf.... still with us? Any plug news or anything different? I'm already into a whole new level of symptom interpretation - and that's from a hyperparanoid ex-LTTTCer.... Hope you are both well and that things start moving soon. I've heard from a friend about a mobile massage service in Melbourne (sadly for you L) that offers a service called Induction Massage and they have a really successful rate of 12-24 hours. I'm getting them in on speed dial from Friday.
Leabie/ Glenny C - so pleased to hear your news about the scans. It's such a reassuring feeling isn't it. There's a new bit of research (see the BBC) about in the future being able to do a Downs test by blood test at 6-7 weeks which is brilliant rather than all the waiting. I'm so pleased for your friend Glenny - that's superb. She must be terribly pleased. One of the loveliest things about being pregnant was telling people - it's such a wonderful thing to make people so happy.
Brunnette - re movement. I wouldn't worry too much, it's got so much to do with the position and size of your placenta. There's a girl in my antenatal class whose placenta is at the front and she's never really felt much and yet everything is super.
LisaB - welcome to the thread and I hope you don't worry too much (I know, a silly thing to say to a LTTTCer .
Mum2be - I know what you mean about DH and worrying. He just didn't/ doesn't get how I can worry about every little thing all the time. Don't worry - we're always here! It's so useful to hear that you aren't the only person in the world experiencing something wierd, but allegedly normal!
Kitkat - yes, of course I'll go back and change it!
So. AFM. I am so tired it is unbelievable. I think cleaning up the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico is an easier task than me turning over in the night. Funny thing the other day. I woke up in the morning having not been to the loo in the night - most unusual as you can imagine. And there was a yellowish stain on my handmade quilt. I was mortified, I really thought I'd lost control in the night and wee'd the bed. I just had visions of TENA lady pads for the rest of my life. Naturally I hid it and didn't tell DH whilst I reconciled myself to this horrid fact, wondering about how I was going to take it to the dry cleaners without looking like a slackbladder. About three hours later, he pipes up with, "oh don't sit on the corner of the bed, I spilled some apple juice and its wet". I was so pleased I didn't kill him this time
Like Mitf mentioned the other day, I really wish I knew what day it was going happen on. I have a few things to do, but I could be pregnant for another 21 days so I don't want to rush them if I'm going to be here for a while. But for all I know, it could happen this afternoon. In which case I need to order some stuff from Coles and turn the washing machine on.... the waiting is excrutiating! My local massage place won't massage me anymore, in case it brings on labour. Well DUR!!!! that's precisely what I want!!!! So I'm going to try the mobile service mentioned above.
Hello to everyone I've missed - Renee, CK77 and Lairdoz and all other ladies. Hope you are all well and bellyrubs to you all.
