Oh glenny c I hope that everything is ok with your friend. Just when you get to the point where statistics say everything should be ok and you finally make that 12 week mark, it is so cruel. FX everything wroks out ok.

    Hello Ladies,

I have officially reached my EDD but no sign of a baby today.... I wonder how long we shall be kept waiting. Most people I know who have had a baby this year have gone 6-7 days over so I am quiet prepared for that. I am hoping we might see some action by mid next week and have promised DH I won't complain too much till then.... although come Wednesday night and still no baby I will be disappointed. I had a dream last night the baby came on 15th... I certainly hope I don't have to wait that long!

Lise - sorry to hear that the acupuncture didn't work yesterday. Chicklet obviously likes his home to much..... FX the extra appointment today will get things going.

Paula - I hope the antenatal class went well. Ours went for 5 weeks and i found then a little bit painful towards the end... although we did get a lot out of it at the same time.

CK77 - good job on the ebay purchase. I have a pair of Szabo jeans and they are a great fit. I won a Growbag today which was exciting.

Glenny_c - glad to hear that your scan went well and you enjoyed the shopping and sharing the moment with your family. Sorry to hear about the lady in your BB group... I had a friend who had some bleeding through out her pregnancy but went on to have healthy little girl.. I hope things have improved for the lady in your group.

Renee - I hope your MS passes quickly. I have been very conscious about taking any medication through out my pregnancy as well. I think it is part of our maternal instinct clicking in. I hope you are enjoying the start to the school holidays and the princess treatment has begun!

Wantbaby - I hope your rash has cleared up... it sounds painful

Big hello and to everyone else

mitf and lise- I hope things start happening for you both very soon! Must be so exciting and frustrating! Just wanting to hold your baby!!!

Just to let you know, my friend had her scan and all is well!!! Yay!! The docs aren't sure why she was bleeding but baby is fine and moving about heaps. So relieved for her!!

Glenny C - Good to hear your friend is okay. Great news your nuchal scan went well and you and DH bought up big for the nursery. Isn't the scan amazing?

Lise - Sending you labour vibes!

Renee, poo to MS still hanging around. It's nice that you have been given three bags of baby clothes. Enjoy the school hols. Hope you find what you're looking for when shopping with your mum for baby items!

Lisa B - Welcome and here's to a H&H 9 months. As others have said, don't feel guilty about falling PG on your 1st IFT attempt. Try to relax and enjoy being UTD.

Mum-2-b - I have PM'd Juniper and she thinks she will be able to meet us in the city on Friday. Can you do any earlier than 1 pm? Maybe 12, or is that too early for you? The same place is fine with me, if that's okay with you?

Mitf - I hope you don't have long to wait now that you have reached your EDD. FX and GL.

CK - I am with Medibank Private so it would be good to have DH staying the night, esp if it means I get to have a queen bed Damn the new maternity ward not being ready on time! Your Szabo jeans purchase sounds like a bargain. I have bought maternity clothes too but haven't yet had to use them. I don't think it will be long, though. I visited my DH's sister at the Mater Mothers just a few days ago, and their rooms seemed quite nice, so if NW is similar that is good news.

Paula - As Lise asked, what happened at your antenatal secret women's/men's business?

Hi to any ladies I've missed and to all!

MITF and LISE~ Sending you both labour vibes.Try to relax...your babies will come VERY soon so sleep now as much as you can, because once bub arrives you wont get ANY..LOL.
I have a good friend who was due on the 23rd June and is still waiting. She has been getting contractions on and off for over a week and has lost her mucus plug.Bub has been fully engaged for a week also. She,like you LISE,has an app on Tuesday but if no baby by then is booked for inducing on Friday. She is getting frustrated also, but i cant believe the dr has let her go for so long already?? Maybe because its not an ivf baby, they dont worry as much.My ob,induces at 40 weeks but if your having elective c section you get in 2 weeks earlier. My ob,however is also my fertility dr so he knows my looooong 6 year history of trying to conceive.
Well wishing you both all the best.Id laugh if you both went on the same day!xxx

    Hi ladies,

    Thanks for the welcomes.

Mitf & lise - hoping your little one comes really soon, how exciting.

Glenny - your NT sounds like such a wonderful experience

Renee - hope your symptoms ease up soon, must be really frustrating

Wantbaby - 7lbs sounds like a great health weight

CK77 - what a bargin, I hope I don't have to spend too much on mat. clothing.

Mum-2- be - I know, I wish I could sit back and enjoy where I'm at.

AFM: Thanks for you support. I'm not sure that I'll post too much anywhere at the moment as I'm terrified that my pregnancy will end early. I'm in so much of a panic because I don't have any symptoms of being pregnant. I think I"ll ask for another HCG test. I don't even have sore .y. I thought everyone had sore .y. when they were pregnant. I guess I just want a sign that everything is okay. I don't have my 6-week scan until 14th July.

Lisa B- My .y. didn't get sore until about week 8/9 and my friend ho is now 18 weeks has had no sore boobs at all! I know how hard it is! Every little thing becomes a worry, I'm still a little like that. Just remember our motto- PUPO- Pregnant until proven otherwise!!

Just wanted to wish good luck to Lise and MITF that things start happening soon, and that both of your births go well!

    Also, welcome to Lisa B.

Too much work to do this weekend and too little time, so I won't write anything else except to mention that my radiology place's person who does the nuchal scans quit, so I had to re-schedule for almost a week later. Grr. (It was supposed to be this Wednesday, but now I have to wait till a week from Tuesday.) On the bright side, they're sending me to a different location that is brand new and only does women's imaging, and which supposedly has a brand-new machine that scans at a much higher resolution than the old one (so the images are supposedly amazing). So hopefully it will be worth the wait!

    Have a great evening, ladies.

    KitKat72

PS. Oh yes, my dear LondonMiss, I know you're practically due yourself so probably have more important things to focus on. But if you should happen to update the list one more time, could you please change my due date from Jan 21 to Jan 19? My FS agreed with me that the proper calculation showed my due date at the 19th, despite what my clinic had told me initially. Thanks!

Well still hanging around like a bad smell. I have one more acupuncture session today in one last ditch to get this baby out before being medically induced. I've been reading articles on here about induction and scaring myself so I'm trying to stay away from the net for a bit! I am also starting to worry (like every mother does I'm sure) that there's something wrong with the chicklet - needed help getting in, now needs help getting out. Oh the joys of having way too much time on my hands...

Lisa B - I didn't have any symptoms either, not in the beginning nor really the whole way through. Read some of the posts from ladies on here with severe MS or confined to bed rest and you'll be very happy to be symptom free. It doesn't mean you're not pregnant!!

    Hope everyone is well xx

LISE~ Yes,stop reading things. You dont need the worry, although the people i know who have been induced, apart from stronger contractions, havnt had any problems.Just think..if bub hasnt come before wednesday night...Thursday is the day!! YIPPEE!!. It must make you feel a bit better knowing you have a date to work on at least.Even if an induction isnt your ideal method. Bub must know how damn cold it is out here..i wouldnt want to come out of a warm bath either..LOL
    Thinkng of you constantly..xx

    Good morning lovely ladies.

First - Lise and Mitf.... still with us? Any plug news or anything different? I'm already into a whole new level of symptom interpretation - and that's from a hyperparanoid ex-LTTTCer.... Hope you are both well and that things start moving soon. I've heard from a friend about a mobile massage service in Melbourne (sadly for you L) that offers a service called Induction Massage and they have a really successful rate of 12-24 hours. I'm getting them in on speed dial from Friday.
Leabie/ Glenny C - so pleased to hear your news about the scans. It's such a reassuring feeling isn't it. There's a new bit of research (see the BBC) about in the future being able to do a Downs test by blood test at 6-7 weeks which is brilliant rather than all the waiting. I'm so pleased for your friend Glenny - that's superb. She must be terribly pleased. One of the loveliest things about being pregnant was telling people - it's such a wonderful thing to make people so happy.
Brunnette - re movement. I wouldn't worry too much, it's got so much to do with the position and size of your placenta. There's a girl in my antenatal class whose placenta is at the front and she's never really felt much and yet everything is super.
LisaB - welcome to the thread and I hope you don't worry too much (I know, a silly thing to say to a LTTTCer .
Mum2be - I know what you mean about DH and worrying. He just didn't/ doesn't get how I can worry about every little thing all the time. Don't worry - we're always here! It's so useful to hear that you aren't the only person in the world experiencing something wierd, but allegedly normal!
Kitkat - yes, of course I'll go back and change it!

So. AFM. I am so tired it is unbelievable. I think cleaning up the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico is an easier task than me turning over in the night. Funny thing the other day. I woke up in the morning having not been to the loo in the night - most unusual as you can imagine. And there was a yellowish stain on my handmade quilt. I was mortified, I really thought I'd lost control in the night and wee'd the bed. I just had visions of TENA lady pads for the rest of my life. Naturally I hid it and didn't tell DH whilst I reconciled myself to this horrid fact, wondering about how I was going to take it to the dry cleaners without looking like a slackbladder. About three hours later, he pipes up with, "oh don't sit on the corner of the bed, I spilled some apple juice and its wet". I was so pleased I didn't kill him this time

Like Mitf mentioned the other day, I really wish I knew what day it was going happen on. I have a few things to do, but I could be pregnant for another 21 days so I don't want to rush them if I'm going to be here for a while. But for all I know, it could happen this afternoon. In which case I need to order some stuff from Coles and turn the washing machine on.... the waiting is excrutiating! My local massage place won't massage me anymore, in case it brings on labour. Well DUR!!!! that's precisely what I want!!!! So I'm going to try the mobile service mentioned above.

Hello to everyone I've missed - Renee, CK77 and Lairdoz and all other ladies. Hope you are all well and bellyrubs to you all.

    Hi Ladies

Haven't been on here for a bit, so thought I'd send a quick post now.

Lise and Mitf - Sending you both lots of labour vibes. I can't believe you're still with us Lise. I can only imagine what you're going through. Good luck with the OB appt tomorrow, and here's hoping for a baby by Thursday. Mitf - good luck to you too. I hope all goes well when it finally happens.

LondonMiss - You made me laugh with your comment about rolling over at night. It's just ridiculous isn't it? It takes me about 3 stages before I can get all the way over. Sometimes I get to the middle and I'm on my back, and fall asleep (which is bad I know). So DH usually wakes me up and tells me to roll over onto my side. I also find I'm getting aches high up near my ribcage. I guess that's just baby staking his claim on my stomach space.

KitKat - how annoying that your scan date got put back. Must be so frustrating, but here's hoping the new imaging place is much better. Good luck.

Glenny - glad to hear that all is well with your friend. That must've been such a difficult time for her to bleed at 12 weeks.

Lisa B - I also didn't have any pregnancy symptoms to start with. The only thing I noticed was darker veins in my boobs, but I had no morning sickness, not sore boobs, nothing.... so try not to stress too much. Combined with doing weekly blood tests at the clinic though, I also did HPT's every couple of days just to keep checking that I was pregnant. Good luck for your first scan.

Hi to Juniper, WantBaby, Brunette and anyone else I may have missed.

AFM - not really much to report. I am now 37 weeks, and things are still going along ok for now. I have 2 weeks to go until my scheduled c-section. I have finished my shopping list (I hope so anyway... I don't really want to add anything else to it), and I am nearly finished my "to do" list. Packing my hospital bag is one of the last things I have left to do. So I am hoping to get some relaxing time in front of the telly happening for the next couple of weeks.

DH's parents called the other night and told us they plan on coming down on the day of the c-section (they live about 5 hours away). As we hadn't actually had this discussion with them yet (DH was supposed to do that), I ended up having to tell them that I don't want visitors on the first night. I said I didn't think I'd be up to visitors on the first night. But it also has a lot to do with the fact that I just want it to be me, DH and baby for the first night, and not be bombarded with visitors (although I didn't want to tell them that and offend them). They were fine with it, so hopefully they weren't offended.

Well I'm off to watch some tv. Enjoy your day ladies.

    Wishes xoxo

Well just had my OB appointment so feeling a little more optimistic that maybe things might happen before i'm induced. She did an internal (and swept my membranes, ouch that hurt!) and i'm 4cm dilated and she said it was all looking very good 'down there'. So i'm madly keeping my fingers crossed something happens in the next 36 hours before I have to be induced. I'm supposed to go in at 8am on Thursday for her to break my waters - ladies please send all your labour vibes this way so that doesn't have to happen!!

The mere sight of that amniotic hook is enough to get me started! It looks like something from a medieval joust!!! What could you compare the pain of a membrane sweep to? How long did it last for (the procedure and the pain if that was different)? I ask as my indigestion is getting worse not better and Little Miss Wriggler is still moving loads so I'm not convinced she's coming anytime soon and that I will be late late late... I have a preggo friend from yoga coming for dinner tonight. Menu: Curry (hot), fresh pineapple and raspberry leaf tea ........

4cm dilated is good... hopefully we'll see you next with a BA..... very very very best of wishes. Hope all goes well x

Oh Londonmiss, what will we do without your very funny comments? Enjoy the menu tonight!

Lise, sending you labour vibes. That procedure sounds horribly painful. FX you go soon, and before you have to be induced xo

Wishes, if your DH is anything like mine, I would say it's typical that they leave everything to the last minute! No doubt your PIL understand totally, though, and it is A-okay with them.

Juniper, are you still okay with coming into the city for lunch this Friday? I can't remember the name of the place we're meeting at, but I'll text/email you if you're coming with the details. We're meeting at 12, too, if that's okay with you. Hope you can make it!

    Goodbye

    Hi ladies,

Looks like i have to go back too the LTTTC thread as I had ultrasound today and FS said it was too small and had a weak heart beat. He thinks the heartbeat will stop over the next week. Not sure how too deal with this ... just a lot of crying I guess.

Anyway, thanks for being there for me during the last few weeks. As I said to DH, I really loved being pregnant. Its just a shame it had to end as quickly as it begun.

Hopefully I can join you again in here soon. In the meantime, I hope you all have a H&H pregnancy.
