I got a bfn today after my first transfer (2nd stim cycle). Just wondering if there is anything you each did differently on your bfp cycle?? I am working out a plan of attack and any tips of what you think helped would be most welcome!N2l
Hi,
I had two cycles. One I only got one egg and therefore just a fresh transfer and it resulted in a chemical pregnancy. The 2nd I got 4 eggs - had two transferred fresh and then 2 transferred frozen - all BFN's.
I was working in a very stressful sitation at the time. A few weeks before what was going to be my last IVF attempt I quit my job and started a new lower stress one. I also had accupuncture. My blood pressure went back to my normal (which is actually low) whereas throughout the other cycles it had been "normal" which is actually high for me. The accupuncturist commented on how much better I was looking by the time I had my session with him just before egg pick up (compared to my first one a few weeks earlier). And I got my BFP. I truly believe in my case that stress was the major reason I wasn't getting pregnant (I had also done a year of donor insemination prior to IVF) and once I had got free of that stressful situation my body responded well.

don't know what your personal circumstances are like but if you have stress in your life it might be worth looking into what you can do to relieve it. :-)
