airline- congratulations on the arrival of beautiful Lewis!!! so happy for you and hope you are all doing well xx

kelly- thinking of you, you are doing so well, and well done with the weight gain also..hang in there

grub- hello! hope you are much better soon as well as the rest of your family

aimee- glad to hear all is progressing along for you. I am just over 17 weeks now and think I have gained about 2 kgs...i think it's mostly my growing tummy and boobs to be honest! although I keep asking DH is my bum looks bigger! lol i need to relax about my weight I know, but I do tend to worry about gaining all over

bugsmum- great to hear from you :-)

mindhugs- hope the MS is easing and the clexane is getting easier for you

lori- good luck for your next scan

jbm- hope to see you here soon

afm- all going well (I think anyway!)...tummy and boobs keep growing, which I think is a good sign. I have my next scan wednesday, so very excited about that (the clinic here likes us to go at 18 weeks) and we hope to find out if its a boy or a girl. A healthy baby is all we really want of course! but I have always imagined having a girl at some point (i think being an only child and so close to my mum, i have always subconsciously imagined me with a daughter of my own).
I am a bit disappointed as our private scan place is closed at the moment, so we cant go to our normal sonographer, who we have come to know and who is always great and gives us a dvd and still photos and they have two screens so i can always see everything clearly too.... :-( going to the public place and will get photos (no dvd)...and hopefully they'lllet mum and dad in for a look...not ideal in comparison, but DH and I decided to go in when the clinic wanted us to (rather than waiting until 20 weeks whenthe private place reopens) and we are so keen to have a look! plus with my medical stuff, we want to make sure sooner rather than later that our baby is developing ok. I know I will be nervous on scan day as usual!
People keep telling me i am glowing, or how well i look, and i get a lot of random compliments, which i must say is lovely and makes me feel good :-)
getting maternity gear and looking for bargains...want to look nice but dont want to spend a fortune!
It's early days, but we've also started talking about our nursery- we want to go with a snugglepot and cuddlepie theme :-)
