Hi ladies guess we are all busy posting on our own threads. Has anyone heard of any more LTTTC girls getting s positive result surely it's time to increase the numbers in here

AFM keeping myself busy yep finished worked and this is my second week at home being a domestic goddess haha. I'm on the home stretch exicited to meet my baby but also scared even though this is what I've always wanted. The what ifs are starting to creep in and poor DH thinks I'm going crazy trying to keep everything tidy incase I go into labour

    Hi girls,
I'm still here, sorry for not posting much, been slack!

Babydreamtime- congrats on your new baby!!! hope all is going well.
terry- I'm jealous you are finished work, I don't know how i am going to make it, 10 weeks to go of work for me. You must be nervous and excited! Enjoy your rest period before the baby arrives xx

I am officially at the halfway mark Had my 20 wk scan today and everything was perfect which I am still in shock about.
DH and I actually had a discussion today about whether we will try for another one, I could never have broached the subject earlier in this pregnancy, I was so scared. The logistics will be difficult so we need to discuss now as we have 1 frozen embie but basically I don't have much hope for that or for my egg quality if I went for ivf again ( I would be well over 40 by that stage) so would need to get my 35 yo sister to donate eggs before she turns 36. So complicated, will need to think about it further.

Hope everyone is going well, especially you myturn xx

    Can I jump in here?

I'm struggling to find somewhere that I fit.
I'm 4 weeks pregnant with #2 after 22 months TTC, fell pregnant on my 3rd IVF cycle after cycle 2 resulted in a chemical pregnancy.

I'm finding it hard to recognize pregnancy symptoms, vs the progesterone side effects.
I'm so paranoid that I'll have a miscarriage and not know because progesterone will stop me from bleeding.

    I'm just really scared

Hi Emma! Sorry I don't get on here as often as I used to. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I'm sorry you are feeling so anxious - If it helps at all I didn't feel any pregnancy symptoms with my current pregnancy, whereas I was knocked sideways with MS with my first. I didn't have sore boobs, nothing really, except around 7 weeks pregnant I was soooooo hungry.

I wish I knew what to say to make the anxiety go away... but know that I hear you and I know that feeling.

    Big hugs.

Firstly CONGRATS to you! And this stage of things is really scary because it's been such a mission to get to this point. I wish there was something I could say to give you instant reassurance but unfortunately there isn't. I did think I could poas to reassure myself whenever I needed it but really, there are so many variables like how concentrated your wee is to how dark the line is. I did have a couple of little freak outs before our first scan and my clinic was really good by letting me have a few extra blood tests. But I still worried like mad. As much as I hated when people said it to me, stay positive and hang in there until your scan. Hope that time goes really quickly (yeah right, like that's gonna happen!!!!) and you see that beautiful little flicker. Hugs hun

Thanks so much for responding ladies.

I wasn't LTTTC with my first and probably didn't have the knowledge that I do now- I think that made the journey easier?

Now I'm used to over analyzing every little thing- that it's driving me batty!

I'm POAS with a FRER 2 x daily- just to see the lines.

I've only got a 1-2 weeks on a digital- so that's worrying me too.

I know stressing is not going to help- but I can't help it

Can you request another blood test so that you can be reassured that your numbers are doubling like they should? Totally understand the anxiety, big hugs to you. How long before your scan?

Over a week to go- Monday the 24th.

I think I'll take your advice and ask for more blood.

Thanks so much for listening, I'm sure my freak outs aren't over!

Vent away, hun. I don't think there is anyone in this thread that doesn't understand what you are going through. Hugs to you

    Thanks

I'm feeling a bit better today- got a 2-3 weeks result on my digi last night!
It's a small thing that is probably insignificant, but that meant a lot to me!

I know I need to stop testing- I have a problem!

My lines are getting lighter and my digi is now back to 1-2 weeks.

    This can't be good!

Awwww hun, hoping like mad everything is ok but please remember that those tests all depend on how concentrated your wee is. Def see if you can get another blood test as that will be a much better indicator of how things are going rather than poas. I did it myself and caused myself no end of stress if the lines weren't as dark as I thought they should be.

Good luck and stay positive xxx

Hi girls, I haven't been on here for ages, but wanted to announce the arrival of our beautiful girl K.eira K.aur on 10 October at 3.230kgs by CS.

We are totally in love although the last few weeks have been difficult. I ended up back in hospital with my wound getting infected, boy did I feel terrible! Spend another 3 days in there on IV ABs with my wound reopening slightly to get rid of all the gunk, yuck! Anyhow I am feeling on top of the world now. Then bubs had failed the newborn hearing screen whilst in hospital twice. So the day after I got out of hospital the second time we went to get tested by an audiologist at Uni of Melbourne. We were convinced that all would be okay, but unfortunately our gorgeous girl is profoundly deaf in her left ear. Thankfully she has perfect hearing in her right ear. So we have been coming to terms with that also.

Everything happens for a reason and our DD is just a little ray of sunshine, we really are truly blessed to have here in our life's.

    Xxx
