Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
I was wondering if I can join? I'm taking a step into the void and *Deep breath* announcing I am 4w4d pregnant :) It's been a long time coming, but I won't bore you all with my long history. This little bean is the result of out 3rd FET, and so far HCG is looking good. I'm not quite ready to do a ticker, but I'm due 27th Feb 2015 (c-section will be 3 weeks prior though). Congratulations on all your pg ladies!
Bec

Aw congratulations bec :) I know exactly how you must be feeling right now! So happy your numbers are looking great that helps to keep positive that's for sure xo
Your not far behind me but if you are having a 3wk early C/S you will probably have yours first... My DD was overdue.
Woohoo!
If there are any other ex ltttc'ers lurking please say hi :)
Live healthy baby dust xoxo

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
:dance::dance: Congratulations Bec. So thrilled to read your update. You probably don't remember me but we were in a ltttc group years ago. Sending you heaps and heaps of sticky vibes.
Sarah I hope you get beautiful numbers tomorrow :)
I should get my NT results tomorrow and find out if and when I have surgery. I am hoping we can keep monitoring the cysts as the largest one has not grown and the teo smaller ones have shrunk a lot.
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Thanks mildez , and good luck with your results tomoz too xo
Here's to great news tomoz!

Congratulations Sarah I have been stalking you for ages, so happy for you xx
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Fantastic news Sarah. I am so happy for you everything is going along perfectly . I will keep praying it continues to do so :)
Saw the Ob yesterday. I was very happy to find out I don't need the surgery at the moment. I hope it stays that way. I am having some ovary pain today although these moments are pretty rare.
I also got my NT results. I wasn't worried as the NT measurement was very reassuring but still nice to find out the risk is low. Trisomy 21 risk was just under 1 :11000 and Trisomy 18 and 13 were less than 1:20000. He didn't request to see me for another 6 weeks after the morphology scan so I had to make the appointment for 7weeks as I want to have the morphology scan at 19weeks. Can't believe thats the next big thing.
Almost out of the 1st trimester
I am fighting the urge to go buy maternity clothes and baby things. I won't yet but it wont be long until I can not fit in my current clothes. Its finally sinking in that it looks like we are having another baby. I think I need to stop pinching myself. I don't feel pregnant and don't look it. Just need it to start kicking me so I know its really in there :)
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21

And mildez, thank you very much too :) xox.
That's so awesome, sounds like you got one perfect bub in there :)
And so cool you are nearly out of first tri!
It wont be long and you will get kicks and you Will have to get some maternity clothes!

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
hi ladies!
Does anyone have much experience with FET IVF and progesterone levels? I had my repeat beta done and the numbers were great (2700 up from 507 72 hours ago), but my progesterone has dropped slightly. My specialist likes levels over 20 and mine has dropped to 19. Just hoping someone might be able t give me some hope that things will be ok?
Thanks x
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Great numbers Bec. My HCG was 1788 at 5weeks exactly (confirmed by u/s a few days later).
I don't know a lot about progesterone levels. Have they started you on some progesterone support? If so are you able to increase it?
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Thanks Mildez, that's reassuring! I'm so happy for all of your positive test results too, and yay for no surgery!
I'm already on pessies as part of the treatment and I'm hoping uping them will be enough. I'm just so anxious! How do you guys cope with the anxiety?
p.s. Sarah, those numbers are awesome!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
How much progest are u on bec?
Definitely up it if it's gone down.
Great hcg though!
With the FET did they get your body to ovulate?
That can make a difference!
Well I'm freaking out ( again :-/) .... A bit of brown discharge :-( ... Given my history it does not comfort me in the slightest that it's only brown and a little but I guess it's all I have to cling too!
Please somebody knock me out so my brain does not have the choice to think :-/.
Please help pray it will be fine...
I got to get to that scan!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Sarah I have everything crossed for you the brown discharge is nothing to worry about. The only time I have ever had bleeding of any description except my ectopic was this pregnancy but I was only 4 weeks and it was red. I guess it was a form of implant bleeding. Even my 4 other m/c I have not bleed until well after I have found out the pregnancy is not progressing. I guess I am just not a bleeder. Are you on asprin?
Bec as for controlling the anxiety I did not do a very good job of that. I would go from being determined to stay positive and telling myself the outcome is completely out of my control to convincing myself it was all over. Even now after a reassuring scan at 12weeks I keeping having this fear that this is to good to be true and just waiting for something adverse to happen. If it were to I am sure I would tell myself I knew it was going to happen all along. I definitely prepared myself for the worst early on. For my 1st scan I had so much ovary pain I even packed my bags and put it in the car expecting to be going to hospital to have my remaining tube removed due to another ectopic. Admittedly I did have really bad ovary pain but it was the cysts causing that after all. I got a ticker and announced the pregnancy something I have never done even with my pregnancy that resulted in my DD. But I still can't buy any maternity clothes, bigger bras or things for the baby. I have just started looking but can't bring myself to buy anything yet. It really is a kind of torture we do to ourself and does add to the past grief that a lot of the enjoyment of a new pregnancy is overshadowed by fear and anxiety.

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
I feel the same as you Mildez, I can't manage anything pg related just yet. I told my Dad and my sisters that we were pregnant, but I've said it so many times it's like I feel like I'm crying wolf! I am hoping that I will get better with time though. FS has suggested uping the prog so I'll do that and hope for the best until my scan in 1 week.
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Oh I think the exact same ad you bec! I allways say I feel like the girl who cried pregnant! I try to avoid telling people so I don't have to say I lost it again, and again ect x 8 .
And mildez I know how hard it is to believe I brought 2 maternity dresses my last pg and hated to look at them after mc!
Eventhough the babies room is nearly done it's been a long time since I've left the door open to dare to believe!
Do you have one of those fetal dopplers?
I'm thinking I'll need one once I'm 12wks :-/.
I swear I was never a paranoid person before my mc's and if it doesn't relate to preg I'm pretty laid back!
I don't like what ltttc has done to my brain!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Sarah and Bec how are you both going?
Yes I have a doppler. I didn't use it until 11+5 and it took me a good 15mins to find it. I did think it was there but as I heard some strange noises which I think was the baby moving. I also used it the morning of my 12week scan as I have this fear at every scan they will say sorry there is no HB. I also used it yesterday as I have had some very stressful days with work and with my eldest daughter (about to turn 14). She is going through the whole I am the next hollywood star and in the next moment my life is over haha. I think I was similar at her age but not so challenging.
Apparently my sister send me some maternity clothes which are at my parents. So perhaps I wont need to buy much in the next couple of months anyway. Can't believe I am in the 2nd trimester :) Its a good feeling. 1/3rd of the way to the end if all goes to plan.

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Thanks Mildez, I'm travelling ok, although I had a massive argument with my DH yesterday and ended up driving away in tears. I completely overreacted! Ah, hormones, gotta love them! I am on holidays at the moment so I can just rest. The problem is I am also bored which is not good!
I remember being 14, it's a tough gig! Good luck for both you and her!
I had a doppler last pg, and it was good unless i couldn't find what I was looking for and then I stressed! But it was handy between scans.
Sarah, we left our daughters nursery along after we lost her, I just packed up her clothes and left everything else alone, thinking we would be having another baby soon...2 and a half years later, I cleared it out and repainted. And we found out we were pg the same week! I'm glad I did it though. I am not going to do a nursery until baby is home with us and then we can decide what to do with the room. Thinking of you today and tomorrow for your bt and scan!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Bec I remember the pictures of your gorgeous Poppy you shared. She has been one of the most beautiful babies I have every seen. Poppy is actually my all time favorite girls name currently but DH likes Lucy.
Yes hormones can be a biatch. My eldest keeps asking me whats wrong with me and why I am such a hormonal cow :( I told her she better get use to it lol but we still have not told our girls. Its just to long for them to wait and we wanted to leave it as long as possible. I have a very tiny bump now.
Sarah thinking of you today and praying you get fantastic results. FX FX FX

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Hmmm I'll be getting a Doppler to mildez , that fear never leaves I guess. It's like self protection against disaster :-/.
A sad but true fact of being dragged down such a road.
And bec my heart goes out to you very much xoxo
I can completely understand why you will wait to deco the nursery for this bubby.
Who is on it's way for you finally!
We are a testament of good things come to those who wait lol, although I struggled with that saying before as it felt like it would never ever happen for us!
I don't know the reason why this has all been such a heart wrenching for all of us here! I could never figure it out! But I do know at the very least our bubs are the most truly appreciated kids! I treasure each terrifying moment already and hopefully won't spoil my child to much ha ha (yeah right)
Well guess what my BT was great :) and I got an ultrasound with a healthy heartbeating bean in there!!! I'm so blooming happy and feel much more positive!
I'm still spotting though but they can't see where from on ultrasound it all looks good in there.
Hope to stop the spotting soon!
Staying in bed till it goes lol.

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
I just had a big bleed. They've upped my progesterone again and bt tomorrow to see if thee is any hope. Well, damn
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Sarah thats fantastic on another hurdle over.
Bec I am praying with everything I have that this bub is super sticky. Hang on tight little one.
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Oh No bec :(. I'm praying it is just a big scare and the progesterone just needs upping xoxo
I know how you feel hun I really do. So sorry I will be waiting to hear your BT results and hoping for the very best.
Big hugs xoxo
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Bec I am still praying everything with your pregnancy is progressing well despite the blood loss.
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Ok so HCG is still good; 16000 at 5w4d, and progesterone has increased. Bleeding had currently stopped. I don't know what to think! Scan on Fri, just gotta get there!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
That's very reassuring Bec. FX for a reassuring scan on Friday :)
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Hope you girls are all doing well. I'm 18weeks today, still haven't felt any serious movement =( I've felt random possible rolls, but with Spock I was feeling heaps by now. I must have an anterior placenta...but don't know cause I haven't had a scan yet. I've just been busy by rearranging furniture, culling Spocks clothes so there is more wardrobe space, as the two will share a room, even though Quark will be in our room sleep wise. I'm still feeling cluttered though, like we have so much junk around the house I just feel the need to get rid of everything! In Jan I did a massive cull and got rid of at least half our house contents, but I still don't feel it's enough. I had a dream last night about it and I had even more stuff in my dream, meaning more junk in my head. So I don't think it's nesiciarilly a physical clean up I need to do...maybe it's a mental one.
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Im feeling a bit the same! Cull, cull, cull! We'd have no furniture left if I was left alone! I had an anterior placenta with my daughter and it was hard to feel her move
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Good idea to clear clutter before arrival ttc40,
Hmm, when is your scan?
I wouldn't worry too much though some bubs literally are lazy in there and some wait till your fast asleep when your body Is completely relaxed to do the main moves ha ha.
But get a scan soon if your worried it will definitely let you know where that placenta is :).
You probably got a cruisey bub who loves to be rocked about to sleep!
They all have different personalities even in the womb!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
im not worried at all. I didnt have the 12 week cause i'm so cruisy myself =P I'll get my morphology scan in a couple of weeks. but yea, not stressing, just impatient!!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
TT40 that’s reassuring to here your not feeling much at the moment in the way of movements. I am only 14weeks tomorrow and basically nothing. I know its strange complaining at this early stage of lack of movements but with my last daughter I could feel her moving a lot at this stage. I know my placenta is posterior again this time. Wish my anxiety would allow me to have less scans. With my 1st I had 1 blood test at 8weeks for normal antenatal stuff and 1 scan at 18weeks and that was it. After 5 losses since I am paranoid although scans themselves have me in an anxiety attack. At least now I can find bub with the Doppler and reassure myself. Its funny really as I work as a midwife and my co-workers have never seen me panick and have all agreed if they ever see me in a fizz or panick at work its going to mean something is very very wrong. I panick inside don't get me wrong I must just be really good at my poker face.
Bec is your scan tomorrow? I will be praying you see a healthy little heart beating away tomorrow.
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Yep tomorrow. Im beyond nervous. Im just trying to tell myself what will be, will be. I cant change it. Easier said than done!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
I forgot you were a midwife M! I think my being one is what makes me so calm! I've never had a loss though, so that helps!
I'm a very calm person anyway. I caught a bub the other night and afterwards the dr couldn't stop going on about how I never even batted an eyelid when there was cord around the neck.mmi just shrugged and said, it was loose and she could be born through it, felt normal to me! But he said so many other midwives freak out at that. Lol. Was good to know he has more confidence in me now (only been working with him. For a few months, and was 2 birth together).
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Gosh two midwives! I would have loved to be a midwife
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Not to late Bec ;)
Just popping in to say I am thinking of you today and praying your scan goes brilliantly.
14weeks today. I love getting a week further along :)

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
Thanks for the luck ladies. All looked ok. We saw our little pea with heartbeat! We could see where the bleeding had happened but no obvious cause. He wants to see you us again next week, but I might wait a few extra days and see my normal fs. Yay!
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
So thrilled for you Bec that bub looked good and yeah to a HB. I had a scan at 5+4 and could not even see a fetal pole. It was a long 2.5weeks until my next scan :) Still sending you all the sticky vibes in the world. Stay safe little one.
-
Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21
That is the best news bec! :)
Yay for heartbeat!
Hopefully the end of the bleeding now .
