Oh yes surreal is the word!

That sounds like an absolute nightmare delivering your first no wonder you worry bout getting it out :-/.
The worry does not stop really huh.
I hope you do get that alone special time with dh n bubs.
I have an idea... Maybe get dh to tell everyone it's out after you have had some time?
Until then all they know is your in labour .
And after when they know the time just say it was a busy time and hubby didn't get a chance until he did lol.
Nobody gets offended and you can relax knowing your not getting too overwhelmed with people at once just after going thru it all!
It's a big ordeal after all!
Wow 3 months it's flying by so quick.
Yep me being half way thru is amazing too, we both got here after so long!
I wonder what we are both having :-)

    How is everyone going?

Sarah how did your scan go? Did your DD go with you? Still a gender surprise?

Haha yes I will have to keep the details of this ones birth a surprise. Well actually we will tell them followed by "Do not visit". You can't get that time back so I definitely want to be alone with DH.

I brought a pram and capsule a week ago. Other then I haven't brought anything but I guess I need to start soon and be a little more prepared. I think I will take a week of work early December just to have some me time before I finish work later Dec and the kids are on holidays. It will all happen quickly once October is over.

Good to hear from you Sarah. I am so pleased to hear everything is going ok and your almost at the magical 26week mark. I will be looking forward to hearing your BA in a few months.

Yes 33weeks for me tomorrow. Starting to feel very fat, breathless, sweaty, hot etc but all for a good cause. I put my maternity leave notice in yesterday. I have another 5weeks before my leave starts but have taken a week off so only 2weeks left for a week off and then another 2 weeks back. I am really looking forward to meeting this little person. Freaking out a bit with worry but that's just me.

No not ready yet. I have gained a lot of weight so have been trying to buy a few non maternity outfits. I have the bare essentials for bub but am waiting to know its gender and size before doing much more shopping for him/her. How about you? Have you agreed on any names yet?

Your nursery sounds beautiful. You must be very handy with the sewing machine. Is your DD and DS excited about the baby?

Aw a very BIG congratulations on your lil baby boy!
    I bet he's just beautiful.
You must love having a boy too add to your girls they must be great big sisters.
I'm now just waiting for labour any day, getting uncomfy and really excited to meet this lil one!
Can't believe it's nearly all over, this ltttc journey is done!
Technically it is already but having bub safe in my arms will be it for me.
Nearly had a c section due to my placenta being very close to os, but I'm just in the push zone by 3mm-6mm!! So my Dr wants me to push.
Waiting like forever for labour lol!
    Take good care xxx
Are there any other pg ladies ltttc'ers out there atm?
If so I wish you the very best of luck xox

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21

I'm here. Just got a BFP today after 20 cycles. It's my first one ever so I'm a bit nervous. I had a heap of blood tests taken and I'll have a scan in a few weeks. The doctor doesn't want to see me again until after the scan so until then I'll carry on as usual and try to stay calm.

How are you, Sarah4Kurt? You are very close to your due date!

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21

Thanks Mildez. I'm not feeling much difference, a bit more tired and thirsty. I'm not sure how many weeks I am as I had a weird cycle so I have to wait for my scan. I don't think I'll really believe it until I see something on the ultrasound. I've already told my parents, one of my sisters and a friend. I won't post it on Facebook or shout it from the rooftops but I feel ok telling close family and friends and a few people at work who are aware of my journey. It's only early days so I'm just taking things one day at a time.

I'm here, too. TTC number 2 since Sept 2013, IVF since March 2014, and we had success with our third transfer. I'm due on Oct 10th. I'm still terrified that something will yet go wrong... I hate the thought of a scan showing no heartbeat, or something. We're on hols interstate for 3 weeks, and I'm having weekly BTs til I get back to Perth for a scan in the 8th week.

I hear you, Pholi. I have those worries too as Mum had a missed miscarriage. It's only early days for me. I think I'm about five weeks. Won't know for sure until the scan in another few weeks.
I hope the trip is a good distraction for you. I've just transferred to a new job so that is keeping me busy.
Are the bloods to check hcg progression?
I tested again this morning with an Internet cheapie and got a more obvious second line which is encouraging.

Yes, hcg and also progesterone. Some women need ongoing prog pessaries still, but my levels have been fine since I stopped them.

I did another hpt a few days later too! You just really need the reassurance at this stage.

Re: Pregnancy after LT TTC #21

My ultrasound is booked for 4th March. Feels like ages away!
My GP called me today and I have to start prophylactic clexane injections. I've had blod clots in the past and have a gene that makes me clot more. I'll see a haematologist in a few weeks.
Have you told anyone "in real life", Pholi? I blabbed to three ppl at work today which I'm kinda regretting now. :/

So full and about to pop though! So very uncomfy!
Talking to Dr tomoz about induction :-)
So excited to finally meet this lil one after so many losses and so many yrs of fertility treatments!
    Yaay all over!!!
Welcome pholi and spoons :-) I hope your stay is long and you get very uncomfy at the end like me I will leave you both lots of baby dust :-D ********** uncomfy means healthy baby!
That's what I tell myself now I have to try n get what sleep I can propped up against the wall so I can breathe!

You girls just take it one day at a time and try to stay positive that's the only way to get through the early days of tests n scans xox

How's your gorgeous lil boy going now mildez? :-)
