Yay Green, congrats on the arrival of the new man in your life. I'm so happy he arrived safely for you and DH, but you didn't add to the pink theme as you thought you would. Looking forward to seeing you in the parents thread soon.
BDT: Wow, your beautiful princesses will be here so soon. I can't wait and am looking forward to the news.
Saph: Looks like your next, hope your little boy gets back in gear for you.
BOC: I think you are the last on the list who joined up while I was still in here cooking my beautiful Tara. So scary to think that your time will be here soon as well.
Smithy: Why aren't you with us in the parents thread yet, I'm demanding you join us as Murph and Grub are back to their old tricks and we need you to add your 2 cents worth now as well. Plus it is so much fun now that we are all "mummies" together after being "mummies to be" together. Also, you made me cry with the beautiful movie you made, I even jumped onto Itunes straight away and bought the song "In my Daughters eyes" it was so moving and as Tara was laying in bed with me at the time I felt I just needed to have it to share with her as well.
Green - CONGRATULATIONS So happy for you and DH, and i'm very glad that DH is home for a week so he can ensure you don't do anything too crazy like going back to work lol!!
BOC - i'm with you - that list is scary! How on earth did I get to be halfway up already???
smithy - gorgeous video, love it! Hope you're going well.
BDT - I feel like a big goose, I was thinking that you were doing some serious nesting Not glad that you've been unwell but very glad that your girls are making an appearance very soon. Hope you rest up well in the next few days!
Londonmiss - you need to pretend to faint or something and make everyone feel really bad. I used to see that all the time though on the trams and trains - hugely pregnant women and nobody would move for them at all, let alone offer them a seat.
saph - thinking of you honey and praying you get to have the birth you want At least it will be over for you soon!
Running out of time to view the whole thread so hello to everyone else and sorry i've missed you! Thanks for all the tips for the lanolin cream - I found it that day and can gladly report a great improvement!
And Mitf, you'll be glad to hear that DH and I did find a car we both liked and only had a handful of arguments about it this week. Put our deposit down today and pick it up in a week once they've upgraded the stereo system and have installed a reversing camera! After driving a small 3 door hatch for 15 years I decided if I had to have a family sized car (we went for a SUV) then I had to have a reversing camera or i'd be in deep trouble!!
Anyway, hope you all have a fabulous weekend. DH and I are off to Tathra for a beach wedding so looking forward to that.
Lise: What car did you get? I had always had hatchbacks, my last being a Corolla sprts model. Then 2 years ago I bought a Mitsubishi Outlander. Best car I have ever had! Driving it is a dream, and I find the visibility so much better. It is far easier to reverse and park than even the Corolla!
GREENY... CONGRATULATIONS
ON THE BITH OF YOUR LITTLE-BIG MAN YOU DID IT HUN IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU SWEETY YAY FOR GREEN AND HER DH ENJOY EVERY SECOND YOU GUYS.
BOC - we bought a RAV4 CV6, can't wait to pick it up, I'm just so impatient! Meant to say also am happy to take over the list when the time comes though I won't have it for very long before passing it on myself so am happy also if someone else wants it!
Also - DH and I have finally decided against finding out the sex at the next scan. We both very much want to but would prefer to keep it a secret. Trouble is I'm a terrible liar and would have trouble pretending we didn't know. And of course we could tell the truth, that we know but we're not telling but I fear people will still hassle. So easiest thing is to just not know ourselves. But you never know, come 8th Feb we may have changed our minds again...!!!
