Glad to see you're okay boc though still without a computer - I share your pain. As much as I love my iPhone it's just not the same. And I hope you're resting up well and following doctors orders.
For those with scans soon, I discovered if I held the ultrasound films up to my white computer screen the light and brightness made it very easy to see the images!! DH thought I was a little nuts but it did the trick
AFM - home today with a headache. Think really I just needed a lazy day as I've slept most of the day. Am now lying on the couch reading my "Shopping for Baby" magazine for the zillionth time, I love it!
For anyone who wants to up their Iron intake my midwife has just started me on a liquid Iron supplement as I was borderline anaemic.. She recommended Floradix or Spatone.. I went for the Spatone and it's just a clear liquid in a sachet (middie told me to take 2 sachets) and you add it to a glass of juice containing Vit c as that helps it absorb the best.. I just get mine from the health food store... The reason the liquid form was recommended was because it doesn't cause the constipation that iron tablets can... HTH someone...
Hey - yes I took Floradix for a while given to me by a well meaning naturopath on the basis that all vegetarians need iron. Turns out I'm a carrier for haemochromotosis and that my iron levels were fine and the last thing I needed was a supplement. So I'll I'm saying is check you need it before you take it, if I'd actually had haemochomotosis, and took Floradix (which is nice btw) I'd have been in a pickle.
Friday. Hurrah. Dog is back from vets. Happy happy me. And I'm nineteen weeks tomorrow and all is well. Although the dog has just wee'd on the floor. Clouds/ silver lining.....
Just checking in. My BP went up again this time to 142/105 (normally 100/60) and I'm in hospy now, hopefully going home Sun. Man it's boring, nothing on TV but reading Pauline Hanson's autobiography which is very interesting!
LM glad furbaby is back. I'm missing mine terribly. She's been at my parents for a week while we went away and I was supposed to pick her up yesty but was banned from driving to Syd so now I have to wait til I get out of here! I so badly want furby snuggles!
