AFM - been good, I felt a little sick today. On the way to work I got a bad heart palpatation, it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. It only lasted a few seconds but it was scary. I put it down to my body working overtime at the moment but still rang my OB office. He's not in (only on Tuesdays) but I have left a msg for my FS I saw there. She rang me back just about an hour ago and I missed the call!!! ARGH! Hopefully she'll ring tomorrow.
My mum looked up online and said that its normal and due to the hormones, I'm not too worried.
Just waiting for the nuchal test, I was hoping to get a dvd but I have read westmead dont do that only pics shame!
Feeling quite sick tonight so think I may get my first bout of ms over the next few days.

Hey all having a rough time with all day sickness and headaches. I just CBFd with much which doesn't mesh well with all DS' appointments and 3 active little ladies. We told family and friends and most aren't getting emotionally invested like they did with my 3 previous pregnancies. We told the kids and DS doesn't get it but my DDs do. Poor DD1 keeps saying "see baby Sophie". It's sweet but heartbreaking. For that reason alone I hope bub is a boy so it's easier for her to process.
Thats sad RB it is hard when the kids dont understand isnt it, DD2 always asks why we cant just visit heaven to see DS1
Well ladies im calling it a night the stress of this move is killing me and dh is in a foul mood so curling up and trying.to.sleep sounds good although dh is complaining that im leaving him to do it all *sigh*

Hi everyone. Sorry Ive been quiet, but the m/s is really bad atm and Im spending a lot of time in bed. I threw up 5 times yesterday so just struggling a little bit. But hey, Ive done this three times already in the last 15 months, I should be used to this. Bitter much?
Mia - that heart thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. I woke up in the middle of the night and my heart was racing so fast! Was a bit scary. I googled it the next day and it seems it's somewhat common. I haven't experienced it again. I'd actually completely forgotten about it! My next scan is the NT scan on the 7/5 (ages!!!). I hope that means the Ob wasn't overly concerned with the hematoma but really he probably doesn't want to see me before because there's nothing he can do about it anyway! When's your scan? Next week?
DG - the bitterness is COMPLETELY warranted! Better to let it out than bottle it in! Hope you feel better soon.

I'm still pretty anxious and have such bad headaches every day this working from home thing is not really happening! When I leave the house I worry that I'll have a big bleed. I'm always full of progesterone so don't really know what I'm feeling in that region!! To sum it up, i'm pretty much just a crazy woman this week
Mich8 you're lucky you're scan is 2 days before mine! I'm scheduled for the 9th of May (1 day before my bday!! EEEK!)
They couldnt fit me in beforehand although I rang again and they said they had a cancellation for the 4th of May but that I'd prob get better pics of the baby if I waited till the 9th so since I'd already asked for a day off on that day and same with DH I didnt bother to change it although I would love to know that all is ok sooner. They said they dont give you results that day anyways cos you have to wait for the B/T to come back. I wonder if they call us or you have to wait till you see your OB cos I have my OB appointment on the 15th! What a LONG wait LOL
Thank goodness Im not the only one with the palpitation thing, my mum also looked it up for me (bless) and said its apparently something that happens due to the progesterone and the fact our hearts are working extra at the moment. I'm not too worried but it makes me feel better that its happened to someone else aswell.
Just now I felt horrid but I think its cos I went for a walk to get lunch then walked back in the glorious sun to the office and then stood talking to a friend at his desk for about 30 minutes until I felt like I was either going to faint and throw up or one or the other. Horrible, I had to leave the convo and sit at my desk.
I feel better now though PHEW! This baby doesnt want me to move! LMAO

Im so EXCITED dh has been a secretive man lately and i had no idea why! Hes planned a family getaway for us around Anthonys birthday where we will visit where his ashes are. I cant believe it hes never talked much about Anth but hes planned all this!
So HCG was 1,330 at 19DPO and 12,690 at 26DPO, progestrone still around 103, so they are stoked with everything! Those bloods were taken last thursday but all of a sudden today i am s**t scared that this is all going to end badly. *TMI WARNING* - Generally i haven't had any more spotting, none when wiping or on panty liner except for with a bowel movement, i then get a quite heavy amount of brown cm/discharge. I'm hoping it just irritates my cervic but it makes me soooo unsettled & scared. I think it is just i am coming up for my scan on thursday so it is all becoming real. Have been in tears on & off today and am already wishing the week away so i just know how everything is going! Will ot prob update till friday as i have a 4 hour return trip to have the ultrasound!

Congrats on the great hcg results Sparkles. I completely understand the fear that comes with spotting. I had lots early on. Yep, it will be a long wait til thurs. Find anything you can to stay distracted. Wishing and hoping for a fantastic scan for you. X
Sparkles good hcg, I know it would be worrying re the spotting it leaves you with a feeling. Can you go see your gp or ob about it to put your mind at ease?
So DD2 has chickenpox and the chemist panicked me. She's like be super vigilant with her, chickenpox can cause birth defects in unborn babies. I burst into tears t the counter and was sobbing this is my rainbow don't say that. I'm officially feeling like a crazy person.
Rocking baker- she shouldn't have panicked you, what can you do about it!! Most adults are immune to chicken pox, have you had it before? Have you been tested for immunity? Im not immune so looked into it. Birth defects is worst case scenario, online there's ladies who got a mild case in pregnancy and their babies were fine. I'd talk to your dr and see what they recommend if you're not immune. don't panic tho, chances are all will be fine x
I'm still here and surprisingly really calm. I just have a feeling that everything is gonna be ok this time.
I have an OB appt on the 25th so
I'll be 9 weeks then so hopefully I'll be able to see a wriggly Bub in there !
Haven't had any ms as yet but have plenty of heartburn.
