well, our scan went well yesterday!! Bubs measuring spot on for 7 weeks today, CRL of 9mm and HB of 141. Because of the spotting going back in 2 weeks to check everyhting is fine. They can't see where the spotting is coming from, definately not around the sac so that is good. TMI, i'm wondering if it is old blood outside the cervix or something as i am loosing different very old brown blood now almost like she dislodged something yesterday with the internal. Lets hope she did and after a few days i can say goodbye spotting, here'shoping anyway!!

Sparkles thats great news, the little one is there and saying hello I'm not sure re the BL but if its old then I got told its ok its only if its bright red it may be a problem.

to everyone, this will be a short one as am at work naughty! LOL

AFM - well we've reached 12wks! YAY am still a little nauseas but all is ok. Am impatiently waiting for the Nuchal test next Wednesday. Both DH and I dont want to announce our news till we get the all clear from that which prob wont be till the week after. My parents are over the waiting to tell people but they understand. Just that the little one is all good and we can share our happy news for all soon xox

Great news Sparkles! Fantastic result. Glad to hear the bleeding is not near the sac.

Mich - How are you going? You are almost 12w, how amazing is that. Good luck for your scan, I hope that pesky sub-chronic haematoma has disappeared altogether.

Mia - Congrats on reaching 12w! Not long till your scan and then you can relax and tell the world. How exciting!

AFM - Head still half-way down the toilet most of the time, so nothing much else to report other than extremely anxious about having another m/c.

Yay Sparkles, that's very exciting! It's good to know the spotting is just annoying and doesn't seem to be harmful. I bet you wish it would just disappear so you could relax though. It's great your doc is understanding and will check again in 2 weeks.

Mia - congrats on 12 weeks! Wow, your nausea set in late and hung around! I understand you waiting, I haven't even told my parents yet! I was under the impression I would get my scan results on the same day? If not, I don't have an ob appointment until a week and a half after!!

Diamond Girl - sorry you're still sick... and anxious. Doesn't sound like either will go away tho

Rach - yay for positivity. Where can a crazy lady like me go to buy some of that??

I'm 11 weeks, 6 days today and haven't had anymore spotting (touch wood!!!). NT scan is on Monday. I can't really give much thought to the whole checking for disorders thing, all I can think about is seeing if there's still a heartbeat, checking growth and seeing what the subchorionic haematoma is doing. I'm very anxious!

Everything is going to be fine on Monday Mich, but I totally understand your anxiety, the waiting is awful.

Oh, I forgot to tell you I booked in my Obs visit for Wed and he will do a scan in his office. I will be over 10w. Its adding to the anxiety for sure, but Im at the point now that Im too sick to just wait and see. If its over I dont want to be sick anymore and will schedule a D&C pretty much straight away. How is that for positivity! Please baby stick this time!!!!

DG -Thank you and yay for your scan Wednesday! I think you've made a good decision. Sometimes when your head is so clouded with fear and anxiety it's best to just base your decisions on what's practical. I'm hoping and wishing for a sticky happy baby for you on Wed. x

    Thanks DG and Mich8

DG - GL with your OB visit and scan on Wednesday (same day as my NT test), lets hope we both have great results They say MS is a sign of a strong pregnancy, atleast thats what the Maternity Nurse told me on my first OB visit. Not sure if she was just reassuring me but I'm passing on the positivity

Mich8 - with the NT on Monday, I'm not sure if it may be different depending where you do the test but the lady I spoke to at the hospital where I'm having it said that I wont have any results for about 1-2 weeks cos they have to wait for the Bt! I'm hoping its sooner

    *Downer post ahead*
I feel like i am a ticking time bomb at the moment, seriously how long can this spotting go on before it eventually means something bad. They says its not from the sac but where is it from then? It has to be coming from somewhere!! If the worst is going to happen i just want it happen already, otherwise i wish my body would sort itself out so i can get a little bit excited!

sparkles, you are doing great. I know it must be a constant worry, hopefully it resolves soon.

I'm feeling good today, no real nightmare no icky feelings. So I'm worried the worst has happened. I feel so paranoid everytime I have a good day I think oh no!

No, you're not being silly at all Sparkles. I have spent so much time crying this pg. Its good to get it out, not to keep it bottled up inside. I wish it were easier.

Hey crew! Sorry I've not been around, too busy enjoying being pregnant! We had a great NT scan, gorgeous cruisey little bubba in there, and all of a sudden I'm sleeping through the night again!

x 1million to everyone who's had a good cry. It's just so bloody scary. Sending you a bit of sunshine, and love for those babies you're carrying; they need it for every moment they're with you, no matter what happens. So don't be afraid to get attached to them; they're all precious gorgeous miracles.

    xxx

Congrats Yas! Glad to see so many people in here

Nausea sucks, I'm tired all the time and just have this massive CBFd attitude going
Is it sad that I'm looking at photographers already for after Speck is born? My biggest regret is there are no photos of Sophie with her siblings and none of us as a family.
