Hugs Melster - I can't really speak from experience as I don't have any kids yet. One thing to keep in mind is that older people forget what it's like to have kids, that of course they can be a hand full or bored quickly. Also they grew up in a different time where kids were supposed to be mini adults and were supposed to be behaving and not to be heard at all times...
Greenslw - family lives in the Netherlands, so miles away...Have met my nieces and nephews a couple of times over the years (oldest is 6, youngest is almost 1), there is one more nephew on the way and I probably won't see him for a long long time. Have your brother and his family come over here for a visit? or have you gone to visit them there?
Ob appointment went well! Bub is all wiggly and alive! I'm so relieved. We were both so nervous beforehand and I think part of that made me feel very down yesterday. We celebrated tonight with a bit of vanilla slice my mother in law made usThe midwife told us first that the placenta was at the front, but the obstetrician said that the placenta was mostly at the back and curved around a tad bit to the front. He suspects we'll be able to feel baby soon. Now I wonder if the tiny little blobs I've been feeling might have been little one kicking me, so exciting! Now countdown till 5th of June for the morph scan
Can't wait!
