thanks Elsielousie for your post, and I'm excited for you for your scan today!
Audax - gotta love the vommies! are you nauseous/vomitting all day? and great results!
Thanks for your post Dory. I am glad that you have such a good Ob. Your wonderful outlook and your fantastic ob all sound like it will be positive for you.
tashybabe - I'm sorry you also have a dose of the "pessimistics", but at least I know I'm not the only one who feels like they are losing it!
HPL - yay for the scan! are you still sick?
JwithJ - good luck with your scan, I hope all goes well for you.
Hello to Sparkles, Maddison and anyone else I have forgotton.
AFM- well, still sick, some days are not too bad, but then I have a bad day, usually after a big day or too much driving, and then its all over - BLEURGH!!! for the rest of the day and the next day. Sure hoping this settles soon. But apart from that, all good.
I had another Ob appt, all good, he answered lots of questions I had regarding the birth, and now I feel alot better. Also, we heard the heartbeat again, YAY!
And, I am not able to fit into my stretchy pants anymore, its now maternity pants or PJs for me, I can't believe that I am so big! I mean, I know I will get bigger yet, but I wasn't expecting this belly just yet. I keep getting asked if I am sure there are not two in there!
More time tonight to go through everyone, I hope...
JwithJ: Congrats with the great scan..
milly5: still getting alittle sick at night not every night but still not completely gone, so I'm with ya girl!! Also on the pants subject, ALL of my shorts do not fit there's at least a 10cm gap now :-( definate bump I'm only 16weeks, god help me in a few weeks time :-(
eliselouise85: would have preferred 30mins, but they've class us High Risk, so we saw a few specialists and also the Doc, not just the MW... lots of info to take in, quite overwhelming really.. Good luck with your scan, I hope ours will behaviour so we can tell the sex!!
dory: 3hrs killed us, with all the info they were giving us and all these q's we weren't prepared for, just exhausting, I was in bed and asleep by 7.30pm my DF said... Vommies are slowly going, but still get the odd one at night...
Hope I didn't miss any one, sorry if I did....
Another Docs appt next thursday hopefully it wont be as long. Enjoy your weekends ladies..
Elise - I am thinking of you and hope that your silence is because you are busy and not because you have received difficult news. Big hugs......
Milly - good to hear some relief from the vommies. I LOVE the fact you are getting so big so soon. Me too, compared with before....
HPL - good to hear some relief for you too. At least you should have slept well after your long appointment. Good luck for Thurs.
Audax - how you doing?
Mo4 - are you in here? I can't remember. ( Dory moment) Anyway, I read about your dream in the other thread and I wanted to say thankyou for sharing it. I might even start to call little chicken, Little Cod, just to honour and remember your dream. I am not so much into dream interpretation or giving them meaning, but sometimes in my life I have had dreams that have had real significance for me. Strangely your dream fell into that category. The other dream I had recently of significance is not long after Sophie died, and I was really struggling with grief, I dreamt that I was nursing her and breastfeeding her. It was the most amazing and vivid dream and when I woke up from it I had such a sense of peace. After that my struggles with grieving seemed to pass and I could grieve, but in a more peaceful way. Hard to explain.
I am too lazy to go back and check the other pages to give persies for those I have missed. Sorry. Laney ( are you in here?).
AFM - well excitement plus - I had my flu shot for the year this morning, after getting the all clear of course from my Ob to proceed, and also about an hour ago my first nosebleed that wasn't from a physical trauma. I was talking to my mum on the phone and thought my nose was runny. Of course, no tissues to hand so I used the back of my hand ( I know, so so so gross) and was surprised to see blood. It was only a light bleed but the nostril that bled now feels really weird and fragile an snuffly. I am not surprised as this morning when I blew my nose there was a little blood in the tissue from the same nostril. It is a first for me though. I am not worried as it was light, stopped quickly and is common ( or so I have read). A bit of excitement for my day....
Had an appointment with my ob on Friday and got some good news. LC's heartbeat 140 and cervix long and closed and my blood pressure is pretty good 120/60 ( given I am basically a sloth now I am very happy with my BP)
We had family stay with us late last week. It was good to see them, and it really broke up the monotony of being at home by myself. The other good news was that the cats, instead of hiding under the bed, were in fact "pat tarts". They were snuggling up to our visitors for pats and one cat even slept on my nephews legs all night. He loves cats but is quite allergic. Thank god for zyrtec! But that is what kept me away since Thursday.
And I am still eating chocolate. I don't think it will ever end.... but loving it ( maybe thats why I can't fit into my clothes..... nah I couldn't fit into them from very early on....I am telling ya. it's lazy bump going on over here.
Take care.

Sorry i dont have time for persies tonight but i thought id better keep you all updated.
Take care, talk soon xxx
Elise - AWESOME!! Welcome little boy blue! So glad you feel much more content. Same for me, no time for more persies now - off to do so washing folding.... hold me back.
Alice - I wanted to say, I am so sorry you are doing it tough now. I believe in you and I know you will make it through. Can't underestimate just how touch it is for you though. Big hugs.
Made it to the scan, after thinking I would vomit with nerves and/or m/s! Forgot all about it though when we saw that little heartbeat! I had a little cry and it is still sinking in. Measuring 2 days behind what I thought, 4 days behind clinical dates, so not entirely relaxed yet, but doing well!
How awesome that you're having a blue one, Elise! That's great.
Eliselouise - Huge congratulations on having a little BOY! We are having a boy too and i remember getting in the car after the scan crying cos it really made it so real. And so much easier to buy clothes and other stuff when you know.
Audax - Congrats on the great scan results. Its very hard to take your eyes off that little heartbeat isnt it. Its so amazing!
Mummyof4 - So good to see you in here! Congratulations on the BFP. I can understand how you are feeling about 'doing the deed'. Me and dh didint until about 14 weeks and i was still really nervous. I think its very normal when you have been through so much to be extra careful.
JwithJ - Excellent news about your scan. The 12 week one is scary but isnt it amazing how much you can see.
Dory - Im so glad someone else is getting into the chocolate. I have been a serious chocoholic this whole pregnancy. MMM i could eat some kitkat right now!!
Sorry i know i have missed a few people so to everyone else
AFM - I have my regular check up tomorrow. 35 weeks have gone so fast. Then a scan next week to check size and position. I also have a one day antenatal class on Sunday.
Maddison - wow - 35 weeks. Hope you regular appointment goes well tomorrow and of course your scan. OMG a whole day antenatal class - no way I would have enough energy for that. I'll be thinking of you. Take something to eat, just in case. Hmm Kit Kat sounds nice...
