Audax: Are you finding out the gender of your lil Thinker? (still in utero and imitating great art, smart baby!) Scans are always a bit scary, just focus on how excited you'll be once you see your baby. Oof I can't imagine working full time, dragging myself to the computer desk to study is a massive feat for me at the moment!

Dory: I'm glad the stretching is normal, I slept funny last night, DH is on hols at the moment so we dragged the mattress into the living room and had a camp out, but sleeping on the mattress alone was a bit hard! I remember twisting during the night and woke up with the pain. But haven't had any more since then, spoke to my Ma and she said she always got those pains quite early on, and that it was the worst with me (she was quite vocal about that part actually!) It would be really nice if you could get a leave pass for your test so you could spend it reading in a cafe or something like that!

Eliselouise: I hope the time til maternity leave just flies by!

Hi to everyone else, hope your all going well xoxo

Angelfish – Hope you are feeling reassured that m/s subsiding during this time is very common. Hope you feeling OK about your symptoms or lack of symptoms.

Kit – ROFL. Thanks for sharing DH comment. Way, so early for me, but I’m interested in having a doula as well, especially for the labour. And congrats. on getting some appetite back.

Ashie – hope you have caught up on some sleep and feeling a bit better

Hoping – Hope your stretchy pains aren’t annoying you too much. I had sharp and short lower abdo. pains overnight, so I'm guessing that they were stretchy moments. Woke me up a few times.

Eliselouise – Hold in there. Not long to go now for mat. leave.

Dory – hope your glucose levels stay settled. What treatment is your cat getting? Can you go visit him during the 3 weeks?

Audax – good luck with your scan for Tuesday

AFM - Well I didn’t go in to get my HCG done. My mood lifted and I wanted a sleep in instead. Priorities!! We have our first U/S on Monday, so will find out if we have one or two little ones. This time I have given my DH plenty of reminders to tell his work that he needs Monday morning off. Each other time, I’ve reminded him about scans and appointments the day before, and he needed it !!!

Well I heard Danni Minogue had her boy and it just reminds me of my little one I lost in Jan, coz. I know I was due not long after her. Definitely on a new path now.

    for all

Sammy P – how are you going at waiting for your next scan? Sweetie, don't be afraid to seek any sort of reassurance you need from your ob, be it a scan ( if the ob has an u/s machine in his rooms) or listening to the heartbeat. I think the hb can be seen on u/s from about 5/6 weeks and heard sometime after that. I can't remember exactly. This journey is about you and your Ob should be attentive to your needs. You seem happy enough with the first appointment, but its a long journey and it can be tough and every little bit of reassurance helps. Well, I find it does.

Ric – good to see you in here. How are you doing now? 13 weeks.... well done. Did you have a scan about 12 weeks? When is your next appointment?

Audax - is your scan the morphology scan? Good luck on Tuesday. Are you nervous? I am curious like Kit, are you finding out gender? 19 weeks is awesome.

Kit - hope those stretchy pains aren't not too bad....

Time for a family - He's having radioactive iodine treatment..... hopefully a once off injection of radioactive iodine and then just have to wait for his "radiation levels" to subside. I won't be able to visit at all for 3 weeks because of the risk of radiation to baby. DH can visit after 1 week for no more than 30 mins a day. He'll be on visitation duty! Sorry abot your stretchy pains - how rude waking you up. Love the ticker by the way.

It is sad and poignant when there are outside reminders, and sometimes even left field, of our angels and our new journey.

Teagm - how are you doing?

Hoping - thinking of you. What's going on?

Ashie - is your scan today? Hope you're not feeling too sick with your m/s. It is the pits to be sure. Take heart, for most people it does subside and at the mo, it's a good sign of a pregnancy which is progressing. After all we have to tell ourselves something positive to get through it.

Twin sis – wow 38 weeks along.... you must be “so over” the physical discomforts and ready to meet bubs. Did you end up finding out gender? We're not finding out – going to be a sweet mystery until the big day. It's surprising how much pressure there is from some family members for us to find out, so they can “buy the right colour”. So that means you're due late July or early August? Oh, I am sooo excited for you. How is Cameron coping with your pregnancy and expanded belly? That SPD sounds awful, I presume post delivery it goes away as the relaxin levels change?

Angelfish – how are you doing? You're not alone ….. you have lots of support here on BB, although I know that it's not the same as having someone physically beside you. I admire your strength and determination. Hold on to that my dear.

Milly 5- wow girl – look at you 31 weeks. How awesome is that? How are you going physically and emotionally? So you'd be due early Sept?

HPL – can you believe it 29 weeks? I am overjoyed, and thankful for every day. I love the feeling of baby moving around and just how strong the movements are. It's very reassuring. Are you having insomnia? I get it off and on. Sometimes I get pins and needles in my arms and hands, but they go away if I change positions. Do you get that? Must remember to ask my Obs about it next week. Have you set up the nursery yet? We are yet to, although we might actually go and purchase a cot this weekend. Its a pretty big step for us.... as happy as we are we are still nervous nellies.

Elise - how are you doing today?

Possum and Milly d – thinking of you both, just in case you're lurking! Hugs. Hope today is one of the better days.

Sorry if I have missed anyone else. Not much to report here. Same old, same old. 7 more sleeps til my fur baby goes in for his treatment.... eeek. I'll either go to ground and not post because I am too sad, or I will post like mad to try and fill the hole his absence leaves. DH was at work til near midnight last night ( he's a day time worker, not a shift worker) and I impressed myself by staying awake til he got home. Then I was so excited to have him home I couldn't sleep. Hilarious. I was considerate though, I tried NOT to talk incessantly, as all he wanted and needed was some down time before he crashed into bed.

Ashie - oh how exciting. That's about 4.35 East coat time, but you'll need time to get home etc. I am glad you bought something.... it's nice to get your baby something. All of my preg have been very different. I am with you, I have no idea, and to be honest, don't really care. Hope you can hold it in both ends! I am so thankful that the scanning place I go to now doesn't require a full bladder - makes it so much easier and more pleasant.

Im good. Just nothing iteresting to say really! LOL Had my first braxton hick the other morning, weird to see the uterus all bent out of shape so early on! Meant to see my HB MW at 14 week so i guess id better contact her soon, i am in no great hurry. there is nothing they can do for me and i guess im scared that ill get stressed that she wont be able to hear the HB yet with a doppler... Im happier not knowing!

I agree that the unexpected reminders of our angles are harder than the dates... Have had to light my candle a bit more lately than normal but that make me feel comfort. Really didnt have time to process ectopic before the BFP. We also moved house right as i got out of hospital so its been a bumper of a year. I still know this was better for me than to wait to TTC. How long did you take between your babies?

Hope your fur baby is ok. I also hope that you post like mad and dont go underground 3 weeks is just too long!

Your poor DH i do the same to mine. All they need is some quiet time and then wham the excited women mouths off at 100 miles an hour!

I hope you go and get the cot. Yes it will be very emotional for you but at some point you have to face these emotions!

Good luck with the scan! I have never guessed what i am having. When people ask i always respond that i have NO maternal vibes at all! I also always buy something blue and something pink. It always suprises me how important it is for me too see them in the right colour! LOL go with the feeling. If you want to buy then buy!
