Sammy P – how are you going at waiting for your next scan? Sweetie, don't be afraid to seek any sort of reassurance you need from your ob, be it a scan ( if the ob has an u/s machine in his rooms) or listening to the heartbeat. I think the hb can be seen on u/s from about 5/6 weeks and heard sometime after that. I can't remember exactly. This journey is about you and your Ob should be attentive to your needs. You seem happy enough with the first appointment, but its a long journey and it can be tough and every little bit of reassurance helps. Well, I find it does.

Ric – good to see you in here. How are you doing now? 13 weeks.... well done. Did you have a scan about 12 weeks? When is your next appointment?

Audax - is your scan the morphology scan? Good luck on Tuesday. Are you nervous? I am curious like Kit, are you finding out gender? 19 weeks is awesome.

Kit - hope those stretchy pains aren't not too bad....

Time for a family - He's having radioactive iodine treatment..... hopefully a once off injection of radioactive iodine and then just have to wait for his "radiation levels" to subside. I won't be able to visit at all for 3 weeks because of the risk of radiation to baby. DH can visit after 1 week for no more than 30 mins a day. He'll be on visitation duty! Sorry abot your stretchy pains - how rude waking you up. Love the ticker by the way.

It is sad and poignant when there are outside reminders, and sometimes even left field, of our angels and our new journey.

Teagm - how are you doing?

Hoping - thinking of you. What's going on?

Ashie - is your scan today? Hope you're not feeling too sick with your m/s. It is the pits to be sure. Take heart, for most people it does subside and at the mo, it's a good sign of a pregnancy which is progressing. After all we have to tell ourselves something positive to get through it.

Twin sis – wow 38 weeks along.... you must be “so over” the physical discomforts and ready to meet bubs. Did you end up finding out gender? We're not finding out – going to be a sweet mystery until the big day. It's surprising how much pressure there is from some family members for us to find out, so they can “buy the right colour”. So that means you're due late July or early August? Oh, I am sooo excited for you. How is Cameron coping with your pregnancy and expanded belly? That SPD sounds awful, I presume post delivery it goes away as the relaxin levels change?

Angelfish – how are you doing? You're not alone ….. you have lots of support here on BB, although I know that it's not the same as having someone physically beside you. I admire your strength and determination. Hold on to that my dear.

Milly 5- wow girl – look at you 31 weeks. How awesome is that? How are you going physically and emotionally? So you'd be due early Sept?

HPL – can you believe it 29 weeks? I am overjoyed, and thankful for every day. I love the feeling of baby moving around and just how strong the movements are. It's very reassuring. Are you having insomnia? I get it off and on. Sometimes I get pins and needles in my arms and hands, but they go away if I change positions. Do you get that? Must remember to ask my Obs about it next week. Have you set up the nursery yet? We are yet to, although we might actually go and purchase a cot this weekend. Its a pretty big step for us.... as happy as we are we are still nervous nellies.

Elise - how are you doing today?

Possum and Milly d – thinking of you both, just in case you're lurking! Hugs. Hope today is one of the better days.

Sorry if I have missed anyone else. Not much to report here. Same old, same old. 7 more sleeps til my fur baby goes in for his treatment.... eeek. I'll either go to ground and not post because I am too sad, or I will post like mad to try and fill the hole his absence leaves. DH was at work til near midnight last night ( he's a day time worker, not a shift worker) and I impressed myself by staying awake til he got home. Then I was so excited to have him home I couldn't sleep. Hilarious. I was considerate though, I tried NOT to talk incessantly, as all he wanted and needed was some down time before he crashed into bed.
