damprye.............omg i just freaked out when i saw the list.........omg thopes and then me.........thats quiet scary actually...........
Hello the rest of the lovely ladies
had my 3d scan today............the cord stayed over the babies face unfortunately and we tried everything to get it to move......got some shots tho which were still kinda ok..........the baby looks different to my dd we think....i think this one could possibly look more like my side of the family.......as my husband has the nz nose and so does my dd........and she couldnt 100 percent confirm sex because we were hiding it from my parents so she couldnt get a real good look....but she seemed to think it is a girl.......it becomes so real when u see the scan........
-
damprye - you forgot me lol
Elise was born March 30th
Will be back on wednesday to update you all... can't believe it's been a month already since she was born!
-
Reet-your birth reminds me of my 2nd and 3rd son's wonderful easy births 4hr and 1hr they were fantastic i got off the bed and could have done it again with the both of them i wonder how quick ella would have been had i had a natural birth.
And isnt the 1st few days and weeks awesome when they just sleep and eat and want snuggles i already miss ella's tiny tiny little body with 0000 hanging off her cause they were to big on her now she is in 000 and is a chubba chubba and a very demanding little girl lol.
-
can i be added to the list too please
Due June 8th with twin boys who will be born on May 23rd unless they decide on sooner :D
-

Mrs S - thanks hun, definite weight off my shoulders
Cheshire - thanks I'm feeling much better today!
Alish - GP gave me an injection which made a huge difference!
Wannabemum - not long til your next scan :D
Damprye - was it Maxolon? He gave me an injection that night plus tablets.
S & S -
Ferrals5 - thanks hun. I'm so glad the zantac is working for baby Ella.
Reet - gorgeous name!
Hi to anyone I missed :D
So yes, GP gave me a Maxolon injection with worked instantly. Also gave me a script for tablets but I haven't needed to take any. Since Friday night I haven't had any m/s which OF COURSE is now making me worry! I was so nervous walking into my scan Friday morning I was crying. I must've been a sorry sight with that & my trusty bucket
-
Cheezel- Yeah, that's the one lol
MrsS+Jenna- Sorry, I tend to fall a lil behind
Melster- Now you're third down :p
-
jenna.....how u going now
ferrals......they grow so quickly
mrs s...im glad i am bumped down on the list to third now lol lol
cheezle.....yeah i had to have maxalon tablets at the start...there a bit of a life saver.....
Damprye.....ha ha...im glad im third...i was getting a bit nervous lol.....
Atm....feel like i have popped out in the last few days and everything is starting to hurt....my back....pelvis...and pain down the front of my right thigh.......its all happening at the moment.....i remember feeling like this with dd...except i was only 4 months...i forgot what it felt like...think bubba might be pinching some nerves.........also sleeping....i feel like i just dont sleep all night......im sure i must but it defiantly doesnt feel like it.......
-
S&S - Im broken hearted to read about the devastating loss of baby obie, thinking of you xx
-
Melster- I have found that water aerobics and other gentle yet physical activities help me to sleep :)
-
cheezel - glad youre feeling better!
melster - are you able to rest through the day so you dont feel as tired/sore? how is your dad going?
my brother is in surgery as we speak getting his micro (mitro?) valve & aeorta (sp?) repaired.. nervous as hell but he will be fine, i sorta wish i was up there now, there isnt much i can do sitting in a waiting room though!
-
damprye..yeah i was doing that before my dad got sick and loved it, but because my mum worked there and everyone knows us i wasnt ready for everyone asking me questions all the time....but i gotta go back at some point..gotta loose this weight and get back on track again...
Hey everyone else..
Hey Alish...how are you? Im sorry to hear about you're brother..i hope he will be ok today....yeah dads ok, he is having radiation at the moment and chemo tablets. He is getting a bit tired but is ok at this stage...i have had a bit on driving my parents around to dr's and cooking and then looking after my own place etc...but i do try and rest. Lucky for me this has only just started now...i was like this from the start with DD and it was so horrible...luckily i only have 11 weeks to go.....WOW.....
I have huge pains down there at the moment!!!!!! could the head be engaging already???? or is it a bit early....all of a sudden i have all these pains down my legs and my lady parts......Maybe bubs is on a nerve down there??? i know when they did the 3d scan she was down that end......i couldnt believe this lady also said she couldnt be 100./. it was a girl because she was trying to look while my parents were in the room...and the end when my parents walked out she smiled and said girl.....so hopefully it is!!!!!
-
meslter - wow 11 weeks, doesnt it seem like there is no time left?
im glad he is doing ok, i bet theyre so happy youre there for them, you are doing a great job
im going well thanks!
my bro should be fine, he had several heart ops before he was 5 and survived all of them, a pacemaker the year before last, he is a fighter.. still.... you know? cant help but worry!
is it possible for bubs to have hiccups or something yet? i had vibrations down into my lady bits yesterday arvo it was creepin me out!
MIL is coming with me to my scan today, how can i say no to her when she asks? i wanted to be able to ask the u/s person if it really is a girl, maybe i can ask her to step out of the room or something? any suggestions?
hope all you lovely ladies are well, its been quiet in here lately?
-
alish - I can't believe she asked! I think asking her to come in a few minutes after it starts might work, you could say "I just want to have the first look, it's weird I know but do you mind if you wait 5 mins?"
-
Alsih, my mum came with DD1 and DD2 for our scan and i just said that they had to wait for the first scan to be completed then family are allowed in for a looksee after that ;) The scan people prefer less people for all the 'boring' measurements anyway! Good luck!
-
wbm - she is a captain cling on, way too ott for me, i can only spend an hour or so with her until ive had enough, she is a lovely lady dont get me wrong but all she ever wants to do is d&m me and im not like that!!
she totally put me on the spot and i hate that, when im asked something like that how can i not say yes!!! my own mum hasnt even asked!
dh thinks its hilarious haha i hate him!!
thats not a bad idea...
-
ahh tegam we must have posted at the same time!! how are you??
its a long scan isnt it? hope they say that to me lol!!
-
Alish...Yeah it could be possible its hiccups...if not im not sure what it would be........if its the big scan then yeah it takes little while because they do lots of measurements...i think mine was maybe 30/45minutes.....maybe you can ask her to wait and then you will call her when you're ready....or if she is in there i asked the lady to write ours on paper..or the 3d one..i had written a note and gave it to her before hand and she checked the sex for me and told me privately...
MY LADY BITS are really hurting me..its hard to walk and move around......what is it??? Do you think the heads engaged?
-
hey thats an idea melster, ill write a note! thanks!
could bubs just be sitting in a funny position? like feet down or something & stretching out?? sorry i have no idea, oops i did just read back and see her head is down that way.. surely the head couldnt be engaged yet?? im no help at all sorry!
-
Hi everyone i go in to see the dr on monday make sure everyone is okay
-
How are you feeling about everything angelfish, r you ok? How is you're partner now about the pregnancy now?
-
Popping to say Hi.
Melster it's possible she's head down & putting a lot of pressure down there. I know DD2 was engaged by 29wks & i always had a lot pressure because of that.
-
angelfish - best of luck for monday! hope that dp of yours has changed his mind!!
how you going cheshire?
my scan went great today, definately a girl!! shes perfect im so in love, in the pic they took it looks like she has my upturned nose lol poor thing ;)
things with mil worked out great, i just went in alone at the start and she checked straight away then mil came in.. she actually cried! she never got to see her own daughters u/s, it was actually a nice day!
hope everyone is well xoxox
-
Alish how exciting now you get to spend a small fortune on cute girls clothes :D
Glad you had a nice scan & everything worked out with your MIL.
Everything is going well here, Bambi is moving heaps now. Not little flutters either i can feel actual movements.
I took a belly pic today & i'm about the same size i was the girls & i'm craving the same kinda foods so maybe i will have another girl.
-
im not a fan of pink clothes tbh, but down here unisex clothes are very limited! and i dont want to buy things and put on her & be mistaken for a boy lol i might have to bite the bullet and go pink.....
i love feeling movements, so reassuring everything is ok :)
are you going to find out the sex cheshire?
oh yeah and my brother is out of surgery :):):) they didnt have to touch his mitro valve, it was perfect, they had to re build one side of his aeorta, mum said he looks like sh*t but is going well.. so happy for my big bro!
-
It is kinda hard not get pink, but they have some cute girl clothes that aren't pink.
At the moment No but i'm known to change my mind during the u/s lol
Great news about your brother :D
-
Melster- DS was engaged by 28weeks so very likely :)
-
I am scared nervus with all the ms that i have had and i just had a c~section three months ago but i am happy i know that i can do this
-
alish - I'm so happy it went well! I bet your MIL was over the moon to share it with you :) and you got your news privately! A little girl - congratulations!
Melster, I got a lot of pressure from about then - it could also be some pelvic instability, is it girl part pain or front of pelvis pain? Not that you can do much about either! Good luck, I hope it's not hanging around for a long time!
angelfish - :crossfingers: that it all goes well and that DP gets happy about it! They'll be able to manage your risks, just relax and go with it :)
AFM I've been sick as a dog the last 36 hours, but woke up today feeling much better. I thought it was morning sickness (that I don't get), but I think it was more gastro than MS! Thank goodness it was meant to be a work day so Mum was here looking after DS (and me).
-
Angelfish...its totally understandable you feel that way, im sure the ob will take good care of you. He might make you high risk maybe because of the scar..maybe have a look on the net for info...thinking of you. Hope you're handling things ok
Damprye...was he?...its eased up a bit today..i started using my long pillow while i sleep at night and it makes a little bit of difference..
Alish....CONGRATULATIONS :cheer::cheer::cheer: im glad everything went well and things were good with the mother inlaw!!!!! I actually had all neutral colours even when i knew she was a girl....i bought all winnie the pooh and whites etc...but when she came out and i got the HE comments...i changed everything to pink and purple LOL and changed all her room and wasted heaps of money LOL...now she has every colour..and she suits everything except brown...its probably because i am light and she has dark skin and eyes and hair etc..
Cheshire...So there are a few who have had there babies engage early...i know she was down there at the 3d scan but i suppose that doesnt mean she will stay there...what were you hoping for a little boy or you dont mind...its so reassuring when you feel the movements and kicks
OMG....my heart burn is soooooooooooooooooooooooo painful...i take two losec tablets a day..and those chewie things and i still get hb...i have been waking in the night with vomit in my mouth...its so discusting..i think its the worst thing in pregnancy for me....i cant believe i only have a couple months to go...i am starting to really feel pregnant now so i am hoping it will go quick..i think once i hit next week it should sink in....i am still deciding between two girls names...i knew straight away with DD..i didnt even need books..this one i am struggling and go back and forth..
-
Alish - congrats on your pink bundle! I used to hate the idea of pink clothes too - but after my precious girl arrived I have become an addict to pink clothes. I am finally embracing my feminine side....
Belly rubs to all, just quickly from me today.
-
wbm - ickky! hope you are feeling better soon!
melster - i am dark skinned/dark hair/green eyes hubby is light skinned/brown hair/blue eyes, hopefully we get a nice combo! yeah ive just been buying whites & creams & stuff.. i know ill cave and buy pink lol..
eww to heartburn! hope you can find something to settle it down, im starting to get it too!
dory - thanks :D how are you

Selfish post from me
Hi girls,
we are having a hard time with breastfeeding at the moment - Jayden is not putting on weight - arrrrhhhh he feeds so well but the health nurse wants top up of formula if he dosent put on more by friday
that stresses me out which prob dosent help him either :wall:
He is supercute though and two weeks old already!
here is a photo of him if i can get it too work
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...0&l=470c28d0ca
belly rubs to all of you!!!!
-
Melster- I'm in love with my belly pillow lol. The two girls names, is there any way you could use both, like one as first, one as second? I'm sure once she is born you will know exactly who she is :)
Alish- I think your lil girl is more likely to end up with your colours. Dark skin and dark eyes tend to dominate but she could still end up with your DH's eyes :)
Kellbell- Grr I hate it when the M/Ws put that pressure on. As long as bub isn't losing too much, he will be fine so just relax. It does take time. If there is still an issue after six weeks, then maybe consider it. All you can do is give it your best shot and do not let anyone pressure you either way. If you decide FF or formula top-ups is going to be better for him then do that but yeah, he is your bub and you will know what to do
-
Dumb post baby brain is preventing me from remembering anything!
What does increased discharge mean? I mean really increased I feel constantly wet it's not a trickle or flow so not waters but hope it's normal
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Kell is he doing plenty of wet/dirty nappies?
Mrs S ummm not really sure could it be your plug repairing it's self?
Melster not really fussed another girl would be good, as i have clothes & plenty of girl stuff but a boy would be nice seeing as this is our last & i think DF would love to have a son that he can do boy things with as he gets older.
-
Heaps of wet nappies, he feeds well both sides, but still a touch of jaundice. Started some herbs the health nurse recommended to boost my supply. Hes a little guts so i dont get it that he hasnt put much weight on?
-
Kell if he has heaps of wet nappies & is alert and happy i wouldn't worry too much.
Some babies are just slow gainers. Kodi was 8lb born but was just a really slow gainer she ended up dropping to the 25% within a few weeks of being born & is still following that curve.
You know him best, trust your instincts x
How much has he put on since hospital discharge?
-
Kellbell...if he is feeding well, and heaps of wet nappies etc..i wouldnt worry too much
Cheshire...i am the same..i have so much girls stuff its not funny, i have so many boxes of clothes etc and this will be out last as well, and hubby probably deep down would like to have a boy but he produces girls :)
Mrs s....throughout my pregnancy i have had increased discharge..think it is pretty normal...as long as like you said its not fluid, or it smells then it should be ok.
Damprye..i havent had to use it at all this pregnancy until this week, last time i think i started using it at 4 months lol....im using my mums middle name this time, because last time i used Hubbys grandmothers name...i dont know i was just so sure last time with DD...this time i swap and change with about 4 names..so either ones going to click or there not the right name......
alish......yeah my hubby has the dark skin, eyes and hair...and im the blonde blue eyed one...DD takes after both..she has olive skin, and brown hair and eyes..with a maori nose :D....this one looks different in the 3d..well it doesnt have there nose anyways lol...
Hey dory...hope you're well
How you going reet....?? hey to everyone else
