Hi everyone-- Just a quick post to say HAPPY NEW YEAR 'cause I have to go back to work tomorrow on Sunday and I am not prepared (YIKES!). Got a lot of writing to do tonight and the sermon isn't coming together...oh well.
Anyhow-- Yes, MD is Maryland--sorry for the abbreviation, good guess Dory! Our visit with my folks went well. They stay in a hotel, so that makes it easier, though a bit more costly for them. But they only see me about 3x a year, if that.
We took down our (2nd) Xmas tree today-- needles all over the place. I was a little sorry to see it go-- but my mom helped with the decorations the other day (taking them down and packing them away), and my folks left today. So it was better to do it with the help.
Lots of leg swelling happening here. But I was on my feet a lot yesterday (New Year's Eve and also today) Not sure what the results of my diabetes test was, but my hubby says that I would have heard something by now.
Take care everyone-- I'll catch up with all of you later when I have some more time.
Peace!
Mildez-yes the bleeding has stopped thanks for asking.
Any yes lets all cross our fingers for the ladies still TTC and wish them BFPs.
Forshelby-my feet are killing me and my ankles swell by the end of the day and when i work OMG! my legs ache i never had this with my 3 boys but i only hit 70kg at full term where i have already hit 69kg with little miss and still have at least 9 weeks until my c section so it will only get worse for me if i put on more weight.
AFM-sore legs, sore feet, i feel huge i have trouble rolling over and getting up i am not that big but bub is realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly low and making mummy uncomfortable but i love every minute of it she is kicken and disco dancing and happy in there so i know she is growing nicely well she is actually measuring 2 weeks ahead the little chubba bubba.
Hullo everyone! Happy New Year!
My HPT taken at 12.01am on January 1st was a so I thought I should subscribe to the thread. Looking forwards to getting to know you all, hopefully for the next 36 or so weeks!
Sorry, need to do a me post: feeling very cr@ppy. Started to get more crampy yesterday and feeling off. Settled down a bit in the arvo but went to the toilet and there was a bleed. Can't believe this is happening again. Bleeding stopped after a few minutes (it wasn't heavy) and haven't had any more since yesterday afternoon but am feeling pretty yuk. Not too crampy but nauseated. Last time i miscarried i felt crampy and unwell all day. On the positive side the bleeding has stopped and there were no clots but i'm not feeling lucky, y'know? I'm due to see my OB on Wednesday and i don't think i can really bring that forward bc today is public holiday and he doesn't consult on Tuesdays. But maybe it's better anyway. By Wed i'll be 6.5 weeks and the scan will be more accurate (i.e there really should be a heartbeat by then if bubs is viable, but today could be a bit 'lineball' IYKWIM). I can't help hoping it will all be ok but i'm feeling a bit 'doomed' : (
Kirstenfleur CONGRATULATIONS what a way to start the new year!
Possum Magic sending you a world of sticky vibes. Good news that the bleeding didn't continue and not accompanied with clots or pain and the nausea another good sign. Hope Wednesdays appointment comes quickly and you get to see that gorgeous little heartbeating.

I had cramping all the way thru till 13wks, real period pain like cramps then a bleed at 9wks for about 24 hrs, it was more like brown stuff but everything was ok! Oh Possum, im so sorry that this is happening to you but hang in there, the fact that its stopped is really great news! Rest and take it easy, and please keep us updated. all my love xx
