Forshelby - hahah about your sexy leg wear.... after a caesar you have to wear them to prevent clotting - I like you looked a treat walking around in public with them on with my shorts. It's just like the european tourist look... just put your sandals on and you'll look super. Glad you news is good. GL for your next test. The 2 hour one they usually don't let you leave the rooms, so take water to drink and stuff to do and wear your sexy socks, get them all talking. Sorry about your anaemia - I've had that and the level of exhaustion is incomprehensible..hopefully the iron kicks in and helps you feel more energised soon. I used metamuesil, and it helps. Oh, the iron will also make the end result a lot darker...... :P Congrats on 30 weeks too! Yay.

Dampyre - keep strong ... sensitive bb's from conception or shortly after has been a symptom in all of my pregs and low grade m/s.. sending you sticky sticky vibes. And lots of love.

Ferals - join the leg wear revolution.

Alish - congratulations on your bfp - 5 weeks along.... yay. Hoping you have a happy and healthy preg - the women in this thread are amazing... so much so I am struggling to leave. I am sorry for your ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage. My heart stopped for just an instant when I saw the date 23 Feb.. it's a special day for me too. Look forward to getting to know you and your passenger.

Audax - were you in here? Hope you are enjoying your new born cuddles......

Tegam - sending you and Molly and your fam lots of love Miss you but understand you are doing something really important right now and don't have a lot of time for BB.

    Who is due next?

i feel very lucky to be accepted in bellybelly, i dont have people i can talk to about this so its made things easier.
im very anxious this pregnancy.. i dont know how my mental state will be if something bad happens but im trying to be positive but its always in the back of my mind

Thanks everyone! I'm really hopeful that this one will stick. That said, I am hanging out to get past Feb 25th, when I enter the 2nd trimester; Baby Elvis was a missed miscarriage and the first we knew of anything wrong was the 12 week scan, where he had no heartbeat. If I can get a clear 12 week scan, I think I'll be able to relax.

Possum Magic- sending and many many to you. I know how awful it feels when you wipe and see blood. More .

    Hi my long lost friends!!!
Do u all even remember me??! Gosh i have been so super slack posting its not even funny.. i dont even have any good excuse why i havent been!

Welcome to the newbies... Woohoo this year is pumping with bfps!!! So exciting!!

Im going to be super slack and not even try and do persies.. i dont think i wld know where to start, once i get back into the groove of this thread i promise i will be more of a loyal poster!

Ive been alright, just plodding along, we bought a new little puppy last weekend so hes been keeping us very busy.. i forgot how hard toilet training was!! Our little nala girl was around 9-10 weeks old when we got her and we didnt even have to train her but this little one was only 7 weeks, its such a constant thing taking him out onto the grass. He is very beautiful tho and has definitely helped to bring the smile back onto our faces after losing our girl. Still miss her so much but hey i think we always will.

Pregnancy wise i am doing great! Still getting bh's all the time but i just know that its a sign that ive gotta lay down and relax!
Ive started getting a bit paranoid that im going to go into labour early and ive set myself a kinda goal.. ive just gotta get thru the next 6 weeks and it wont be so bad if i do. Im so silly i know.. theres been no reason to think ill go early but i guess its just one of those little fears that pops up!

In the last 2 weeks my tummy has really popped! Finally i cant suck it in at all, and i look pregnant in all my clothes.. yay! It bloody took long enough! Im loving my tummy! Annoying thing is we did some gardening today and i thought oh great time to get some sun on my tum! Well i just noticed tonight that my tummy is red but only the top half above my belly button and then all the area under is white because the sun obviously cldnt get under the bump.. bugger! It looks a bit funny..

Oh i have one little problem.. i cant stop weeing!! I constantly feel like i need to go but then its just a little trickle. I know it sounds like the start of a urinary tract infection except ive been like this for about a week now with no other symptoms.. could it just be that baby is getting bigger and pushing on my bladder???
Its driving me insane! Has anyone else noticed this around the 6 month mark?? Maybe ive gotta start on some pelvic floor exercises! Altho i can hold in the wee its just so uncomfortable especially when sleeping!

Anyway i better jump off, will be back in the next couple days to do some persies! Sorry again for being so slack.

Kirsten - I had the sme thing happen to me with a missed m/c! We thought everything was fine and it was such an horrific shock at our 12wk scan to see a tiny bub with no heartbeart... still breaks me thinking about how i felt at that moment... it was awful and im so sorry to hear you went thru it too! I had the same fear that it would happen to this bub too and was petrified at every scan we had! We had them regularly with this pregnancy thank god - i would have gone insane without them! We also hired a doppler this time and we starting hearing the h/b at 10wks - so great, everytime i have an anxious moment i use it and feel so good after!!!

Reet - So happy to hear you got a new pup! I was gunna suggest that to you! Will never replace your Nala but certainly eases the pain! Enjoy the puppyness!! I just love that puppy breath!!! Too cute! What breed is he?

You ladies are the best. Thanks so much for all your kind words as well as your stories about your own experiences of cramping and bleeding. It really helped me to hear some good news experiences. It helps me to feel hopeful that something good could still happen.

Dory: i didn't realise you'd had such bad bleeds with Hannah's pg. (I think i joined BB when you were about 7wks pg with her). It is always inspiring to know that not all scares (even bad ones) end in disaster.
T-hopes: It really helps to hear that you had a lot of AF type cramping first trimester. I know you said this at the time but it helps to be reminded. Thanks so much for all your support. I hope everything goes wonderfully at your scan tomorrow.
Mildez: thank you for your kind words.
Ferrals: Thanks hun. You gave me a good laugh with the advice you gave Forshelby on how not to 'rip your bum in half'!!!
Damprye: thank you. HOpe your spotting is also nothing to worry about.
Kirstenfleur: I'm with you! Can't wait to get past that 1st trimester scan. Mine is booked for the 16th Feb. (But first i need to get through my scan on Wednesday...)
Alish: Welcome to the thread. So hoping this is a good sticky bub for you this time.
Forshelby: Hope the iron helps (and the sultana bran!)

AFM: No more red blood since yesterday arvo and barely any blood at all today- tiny bit of brown staining when i wipe. Praying ferrals is right and it's somehow just bubs snuggling in. I had a small bleed (similar) with DD about 5.5 wks and all turned out ok. I was trying to picture myself and DH holding this baby in our arms and saying to one another: "Hey remember when we had that bleed at about 6wks and we thought it was all over? And look at us now." Wouldn't that be great?

Reet-I have been like that from about 16 weeks until just recently i had to go to the loo at least every hour or i would be so uncomfortable and yes its just a trickle but that has nothing to do with your pelvic floor if you can hold it and its just uncomfortable thats just having a bub sitting on your bladder its when you dribble or leak urine from laughing coughing or lifting heavy things that is a sign of a weak pelvic floor.
And as hard as it is losing a loved fur baby i have found buying another one really helps you cope with the loss and move on i love giving new furbabies a great home i always think do they know how spoilt they are!

Stoked-lol its not hard to get left behind in here we all talk a lot and the pages seem to go slow then all of a sudden you are 3-4 pages behind so a lot of catching up if you have been away for a few days.

Kirsten-we all have our safe stage we want to reach and it does help but once you have lost a baby and hear others stories of loss it is very hard to believe that you are safe even until the end i am 28 weeks and still have this niggling worry my little miss wont make it of course i know i am being silly but i just cant help it because after what i have been through it all feels to good to be true.

Alish-welcome to the thread i hope this little bub is your take home baby.

Damprye-How are you doing? i hope all is well.

AFM-nothing much to report just waiting for my GD test on friday then 3 weeks after that i have my u/s to see what this placenta is doing and if it's still covering the os then book my date for my c section OMG! that will be in about 9 weeks.

Ferrals - Ripping your bum in half..... hahaha. I'm pretty sure that's what my dr prescribed me, 'ferro'.... but to check that would mean getting up so you know where this sentence is going. LOL. My stockings are for fluid retention. I didn't realise it but even my legs are swollen. (I guess that's good news, it means I'm not as fat as I thought!) Are you doing the 1hr GTT? I'm going to go in and have mine done next Monday. Hopefully the iron will have had a chance to kick in by then so it might be easier to get through if I'm not feeling so tired and weak. If you do have to have a cs, you'll have your baby before me! That is unless I go early. Hehehehe, how exciting!

Alish - CONGRATULATIONS and welcome Will you be having an early scan or repeat HCGs or anything like that? Just curious. Yay for a 2011 baby for you

Damprye - Sorry, can't hear you for all the crunching of my fibre rich cereal.... lol. About the sore bbs, YES I had this symptom during my first pg. I remember telling DP he had the shower on too 'hard' and cringing when it hit my nipples. (hey, we like to save water, lol). His response was 'are you sure you aren't pregnant?' Turns out I was. It's a good sign that you still feel sick and your bbs are still really sore, all of that diminished and disappeared for me when I had my mc. Do you have any cramping pain or clotting? I have my FX for you.

Dory - I did wear my thongs with my sexy legwear in fact, they're the only shoes I can get my feet in these days. *sigh* I'll definitely wear my stockings as a 'conversation piece' for my GTT, and definitely take a good book to keep me occupied. IKWYM about anaemia making you tired.... I was so exhausted I could barely stand up to cook dinner last night. I told DP I was tired, and he said 'Well go to bed, Sweetie.' I asked what about dinner. He said 'Cook dinner first then' and tried not to smirk. What a cheeky bugger he is! I couldn't help but laugh. And don't feel like you need to leave any time soon, we'd all miss you too much! You're like our pregnancy oracle.

Kirsten - that must have been so hard. I still feel a little bit nervous every time the doppler comes out and they start hunting for a hb. It never takes long but I'm always a bit edgy. Even though baby has been kicking the c*** out of me, I still get nervous.

Reet - Welcome back! I hope you had fun camping, and congrats on the cute new puppy. I'll be stalking for pictures now of course. You poor thing, a sunburnt tummy is never fun. I have that frequent peeing going on.... mostly at night time. I always go to the toilet before bed, hoping to get as many hours sleep as possible, but now I'm up again at least once before I can even fall asleep with that uncomfortable 'busting' feeling....... but then there's barely anything to ah, release. LOL. It's frustrating! So I'm up about 3 times during the night just to pee. I think it's all pretty normal for where we're at.

Possum - Visualising the end result is a GREAT way to calm yourself. As they say, eyes on the prize! When will you hear from your dr/ have more tests done?? I have everything crossed for you.

AFM - My lower back and knees are so sore lately.... ughhh. I think carrying this load is starting to really wear on my poor body. Apart from that though everything is pretty good. I feel like I could go to sleep again and I only got up at 9.30 though. I have to find the energy to get out and get those iron pills.

Forshelby-thats the way to look at it fluid not fat i will have to tell myself the same thing i know my legs are holding fluid by my really bad sock indents after i finish work.
And if i have a c section it will be at 37 or 38 weeks so more than likely the same week you have your bub i am hoping for 37 weeks my last son came at 37 weeks and i dont want to go into labour and risk hemorage.

I am off to work for a 10 hour shift yukkkkkkkkkkkk! come feb 13th my last day bring it on.

Alish - That's great news that you can get an early scan, it really set my mind at ease seeing a hb at 7 weeks. Until then, hang in there!

Melster - I thought I felt some flutters at around the 15wk mark..... but definitely no rib action until a couple of weeks ago. Bubby is still down under your pubic bone right now so the rib feeling was possibly indigestion??? Not sure. IKWYM about the nothing being satisfying thing... I have random cravings I can't pinpoint and it's horrible wanting something but having no idea what, LOL. And a big YAY for 12wks!

Melster I felt this bub move for the first time at 10wks5days. If it didn't happen to me I wouldn't have believed it possible. Its bub no3 for me (preg 6) No1 I felt at 19weeks to the day and No2 just over 15weeks. They were definate kicks and wiggles then where as this bub was like little bubbles popping for the first week or two (didn't have that sensation with the other 2) The first time I felt it I stopped in my tracks and felt it another 3times. The worst of feeling it so early is I'd then go for days with nothing and that didn't help the anxiety. My placenta is posterior this time. I also have a nerve condition (the nerve coverings are damaged so I feel things differently. Even a light touch can be painful) so I wonder if my neuropathy made me feel this bub so soon as I haven't gone into remission this pregnancy (I did with the last)

Ferrals I hope that 10hr shift is speeding by. I've just finished my block of shifts nearly killed me and have 2 wonderful days off. Back on Friday to do it all again.

Dory thanks for asking about me. I'm going great. Feeling fabulous except for down below (got those horrid veins happening in the wrong place) anxiety is nasty still but I figure I probably can't do much about that especially when alot of it is related to my job. I love been pregnant its the best just a shame about the anxiety. Despite my fears DH and I are going so well. We were having alot of trouble with infertility causing arguments etc but since this little one came along thats all vanished so I'm so glad to report we are better then ever now! Can't believe your gorgeous Hannah Bear is 3months old now. Where has the time gone?

Tegam not sure if I said it before but huge CONGRATLATIONS on Molly's arrival.

Alish can you have a private scan a few weeks after your first one? I got a lady from work to scan me at 12weeks (I had a scan at 4,5,6 (thought ectopic) and again at 10weeks) I was a mess up until about 15weeks.

mildez, yeah i guess i can do that, i never thought of that, my gyno is pretty good, the last time i was preg he made me come in every couple of weeks so i might just tee it up with him, if not, my doctor in lakes might help me out, thanks!
