Millyd-I dont know what to say but what a horrible time you are having i hope your u/s goes better today.
I have a tilted uterus it has never caused me any problems but i have read of women who have had problems with it.

Damprye-I cant believe he would do that after everything but you have to do what is best for you and your bub.
I hope the u/s tech just didnt measure spot on and next scan will match your dates.

Possum magic-no bleeding is a great sign go with that and try to relax a bit if you can.

Forshelby-ewww you poor thing and i hope while in the shower it all went down the drain so you didnt have to clean up.

AFM-Had my GD test and i have been left with a huge black and purple bruise/lump and then had my midwife appt all is perfect little miss is very happy in their HB at a nice 140bpm and measuring spot on she said if i dont get a call by this arvo my GD came back normal so looks like i am in the all clear.
Now just for my 32 week u/s to see whats happening with this placenta so we know if its a definate c section or not.

Forshelby: Bit confused...yay for a boy??? Feel better soon. Sounds horrid.
Ferrals: Excellent. Definitely good to avoid GD.

AFM: Struggling a bit. Bad cramping and feeling sick again this arvo but still no blood. WTF? I have symptoms like this and I get convinced the baby won't make it. Praying like mad this cramping is just part of pg and something to do with position of implantation that i'm cramping in a different position to my pg with DD. It would be a hell of an irony to mc today: I was 7wks pg and miscarrying in June 2010 when my best friend told me she was 12 wks pg. (I found that really tough). Then today, my best friend is currently in labour with that baby and i am just about 7wks pg again. It just can't happen again!!!

Forshelby- that sound horrible. I hope you rehydrated well afterwards. Under the circumstances the shower was probably the best place to be esp if both ends cos both ends don't fit to well in the loo together lol.

Possum- I have gotten the worst cramps this pg. There have been times where the pain has been so bad and have also felt like I was about to flood everywhere (sorry tmi) but it hasn't happened yet and I hope it doesn't for either of us.

Ferrals- Glad to hear that your GD test came back normal

Thank you all for your support. I went home today to grab my work clothes. I think DP was home but other than creeping to the hallway, kept away from me which is good otherwise IDK what I would do. I havn't even tried txting him since yesterday although I have thought about so much I would love to say to him but I am not going to be the petty one. Not much to reporton the pg front other than the nausea is making me question if I should stay seated or start moving just in case lol.

I’ve been MIA again, just have no energy and keep forgetting to get onto BB and see what everyone is up to, just caught up with everything

For those who have had bleeds – I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything is fine. I had several bleeds this pregnancy between 7 and 13wks, the last one was bright red and lasted for over 12 hours and was accompanied by painful cramps, and so far everything is going well (I’m 28wks 4d today).

To all the newbies – Welcome!

Melstar – I felt DS move around 14wks, but didn’t realise it was him until 16 & 1/2wks during the middle of my engagement party lol, and with this bub I felt her move at 10 & 1/2 wks, so it’s definitely not too soon to feel them move, especially if your placenta is at the back. This is also bub #2 and pregnancy #8 for me.

Reet – My bladder is the same as yours lol everything says it’s supposed to ease up in the 2nd trimester, but mine only got worse, and now that I’ve hit the 3rd trimester it’s gotten even worse again lol probably because Little Miss Dragonfly is already head down and likes to use my bladder as a punching bag lol.

Tegam – I can’t remember if I’ve said it already or not, but HUGE CONGRATS on the birth of Molly, and I’m so glad everything is going well.

Angelfish – Not long to go now until you meet your little bub!

Regarding DTD – I’m not getting any here... haven’t had any since the bleed at 11wks, so I’m envious of all of you who have lol not that I have any urge to DTD at all anyway, completely different to when I was pregnant with DS when I wanted it ALL the time lol

Millyd – I had a tilted uterus with DS and the sonographer had a very hard time finding him at the 6wk & 12wk scans. There is also the possibility that you were pregnant, lost a bub without knowing it and got pregnant again and it’s still early days... I hope it’s just the tilted uterus making it hard to see your bub though and will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Damprye – I wish I’d been as strong as you with my first angel *hugs* if he’s saying that now then he shouldn’t have any say in what happens in the future. It’s your body, your bub and your decision. I hope you’ve got a good support network around you while you move!

Forshelby – *hugs* darl, hope you’re feeling better soon, I remember when I had that at 16wks, was the most horrid 18 hours of this entire pregnancy and I got so dehydrated. Keep your fluids up, drink small sips every 5-10 minutes and when you can eat again stick to very bland foods – grated apple is great for helping to get everything to bind back together again, and its also good to use for bub when he/she is on solids and gets it too.

Afm – Only 11 & 1/2wks to go til term!

I had my OB appointment on the 29th, went well and my fundal height is only measuring 5wks ahead now. My 2hr GTT test was on he 30th, I haven’t heard back yet so I’m assuming everything is good in that department.

I had the ward tour on the 5th, which went well. I’m very impressed with my local hospital, they have big baths in the birthing rooms, and I was assured that every vaginal birth is midwife-led and as long as bub comes out making a sound and doesn’t need resuscitation or any assistance breathing then she will be placed on my belly skin-to-skin and allowed to have her first feed from the boob as they prefer not to have the first feed being from a bottle like it was with DS when I was in recovery after the c-section.

After bub is born – if it’s a vaginal birth - I get moved to another room which has a double bed and hubby is allowed to stay with me for the 2 nights I’ll be in hospy.
So all in all it should be a good experience as long as everything goes to plan.
I‘m going to a friends baby shower tomorrow, so should be interesting, then I have another OB appointment on the 19th, and my baby shower on the 22nd, so should be an interesting month.

Not looking forward to the 21st though as that will be the 6th anniversary of the day I lost my first angel... I’m still having trouble believing that it’s been 6 years already, sometimes it feels like it’s been lifetime and other times it feels like just yesterday.

I hope everyone else is doing ok.

Alish, I think that is normal for everyone in some people it develops into having to run to the loo as the pregnancy progresses but not everyone does vomit. I vomited once with DS and that is only because I had to drink a litre of water without eatingand not eating made me feel nauseas and so did drinking water before noon. With this pg, no actual ms yet but isgetting to the point that right not I'm not sure if I should be laying here or if I should get up some time soon lol

Hey Alish, I'm due the day before you so they both have to stick so we can be belly buddies I'll even warn you when I get actual morning sickness just incase it is your turn the next day lol.
DP has gotten me to calm down and we are still living together and still a couple but we are giving each other space for the time being. They say a woman becomes a Mother when she falls pregnant and a man becomes a Father when he holds his child for the first time. So I am hoping that he has only freaked out and will settle down

Thought I would pop in and say hello.
So I had better let you all know that FX I may be joining you in here soon cause this morning I FINALLY got my BFP, been testing everyday since 10DPO and the line is getting DARKER, I have only been using the internet cheapy tests as I only have 1 FR test here and can't get to town to get any more as the road is cut due to floods, so it's my bday tomoro and I will use my FR test then as I will then be 15DPO. FX it comes up super dark for me and I have a very sticky little bub growing inside me please.
