Alish- I'm fussy as well so definately wont be having it in tea form if I do try it either lol.

PM and WBM- I don't know who to have as my other support person either.

AFM- Feeling like crap today. Had nightmares all night again and throwing my guts up now I'm awake. At least I see my OB today and go for my scan. Looking forwards to seeing bub again Trying to think positively and hoping for good news but TBH, I'm really st!tting myself and kinda wish I wasn't going alone. Better get my bag packed again so I'm prepared for worst case senario. At least by being prepared I can feel somewhat in control.

Just got home from my OB's. He is concerned about bub's growth rate and fluids are still low. Good news is bub is head down, although not engaged but that was a good thing because unlike DS who was fully engaged by 28weeks, I actually got to see bub's big chubby cheeks. Next weeks U/S is make or break time.

Damprye - I hope things improve, but worst case scenario and baby's delivered at 35 weeks, you held onto this bubs for longer than it seemed a few weeks ago. You're already a conscientious Mum to this bub I hope things improve and I will keep my for you in the coming week.

AFM~ i have been really tired Honor had her six month shots and the dr finally noticed that her left eye is lazy and that her neck is an issue. For the eye i need to take her into the city up her to see a special eye dr on friday she might need an eye patch or surgry. For her neck we need to get her to look to the left more becouse her right side is stronger i have been telling these drs that there was something wrong for a long time

Cheshire- Maybe nothing new but always interesting No matter how much it happens, I am always fascinated with bub kicking. How's your bump coming along?

Melster- Hope your supply picks up soon.

Angelfish- Sorry to hear about Honor, even more so that it took them so long to listen to you.

    WBM- Thanks hun

AFM- Just thought I'd share- My cousin completed her family today with the safe, although early, arrival of her little boys. They were born at 36w2d via c-section

Damprye: You've done really well. Even if baby is early now s/he should be big enough to do well. Much better than a few weeks ago. Oh, and congrats on your cousin's twins!
Angelfish: I hope everything will go well with Honor now that they have caught up with your mummy's intuition. My sister had a lazy eye as a kid treated with glasses i think. All was fine by the time she was a teenager.
Melster: Hope you are managing ok. Sorry little one has a cold. They catch everything sooner than the first child don't they? My friend's 2nd bub had her first cold by about 2wks of age too.
Wannabemum: Yes, ikwym. My DH was very supportive during labour with DD but he found it very hard to watch me in pain and i want the support for him as much as for me! So that he can take a break if he needs it. It sounds funny but i think i'd rather be in labour than watch someone in labour so i understand where he's coming from. Thanks for suggestions about how i might find a second support person. I'll think it over.
Cheshire: no news is good news. Glad you have had no dramas recently at least!
Pash: Hi, it's been a while. Good to see your ticker moving along!
Alish: I'm a little taller than you but I carry very low too. Someone told me this week: you've dropped. And i thought... um no, it's always been that low! I was the same with DD. Hey, enjoy your birthing classes. Do they start this week?

    Hello to anyone i missed!
AFM: On maternity leave now. Hooray!!!!

Possum Magic - Woo hoo for maternity leave!! I am likely to work up until the birth but I only do two days a week and I've cut my hours back on those two days.

Angelfish - I guess it's good that honor's problems have now been recognised so that you can do something about them. By next year she will likely be be fine and enjoying her new sibling.

Damprye - Good to you about your darling nephews. Can't believe how your ticker is still moving along nicely.

Melster - Sorry to hear bubs has a cold but good to see you in here again. You have been missed.

AFM - Failed both my glucose tests so now I am being treated for gestational diabetes. I have to see if it can be managed by diet over the next few weeks. I need to ***** my finger 4 times a day and test my blood. Seems a bit surreal though as all my results have been fine. Guess the trick is to not go around drinking big bottles of glucose! I think I can avoid that.

Does anyone know if being pregnant changes your response to insect bites? I have been bitten by something and the swelling is huge and painful. Haven't had that since I was a kid.

    morning

possum - ahh 2 weeks left of work for me! im finding it very hard though! nope havent started my class yet - its on the 5th aug and it goes all day so im looking forward to it - mostly for dh so he feels a bit more involved and knows whats going on!
well ive been thinking the same thing - maybe people just havent noticed that ive always been low!

indias mum - sorry about the gd, a girl in my belly buddies group has it too..
nope i have no idea about the bites sorry but i have heard that being pregnant can bring up new allergies to some things.
it happened to me with some face cream last year! i used to wear it all the time and i used it for the first time after being preg last year and my eyelids and lips were all swollen! maybe go to the drs just to be safe?

dampyre - congrats on the twins, how exciting

hello to everyone else, i hope youre well

afm - im good.. having bh this morning, sh*t sleep last night, sore back, just killed a massive white tail spider! i HATE spiders! thats probably the 5th spider weve ever had in the house and weve been here 3 yrs in august!

    have a nice day!

Alish- I totally support EPO. I put them in vaginally at night right before bed to soften up my cervix and I feel it helped labor tremendously.

Dampyre- I really hope your bubs stays in there a bit longer

AFM- I have finally gotten super excited about this pregnancy!!! So excited...that I wish I was further along. Luckily I will be finding out the sex in early sept

Ok so I am back again ladies, did my HPT this morning and got my I couldn't believe my eyes. I am totally petrified that everything could go wrong all over again for me but I am also so very very shocked I got a BFP. I actually O'd on CD14 this cycle which I have not done since my darling little DD which is 6 years ago, we only DTD twice just happened to have great timing I guess and we caught the egg.
Awaiting for my phone call from my FS that I haven't even had the pleasure to meet as yet, my first appointment with him is on the 18th of August and I really don't like the thought of waiting that long to see him now I am PG so I rang them this morning first thing and the lady said she will get him to ring me as soon as he has a spare few minutes to have a chat to me.

Welcome Clairesmummy, it's so good to have you back here. Let us know what your FS says. When I got my BFP it was going to be a 2 weeks wait until I could see my FS so I rang and spoke to him to make sure that I was doing all the things he wanted me to do in the weeks before the appointment.

Hi Indias Mum I have only just got off the phone to my FS, he has advised me not to take aspirin as there is a study just out that if women who suffer from recurrent mc take aspirin it increases thier chances to MC again. He told me to make sure I get onto the multi vitamins and my folate tablets is all I should be taking. He also told me if I am starting to have any swelling or any sign of bleeding to contact him straight away and I am to go straight in for a scan with him. He was really lovely to talk to on the phone I think I will really like this FS alot. He also does ante-natal stuff as well so I will be sticking with him for as long as I can. I have exactly 3.5 weeks until I see him for the first time, but I have made an appointment with my GP for next week for blood tests and to organise my dating scan as well.

Thank you Alish and Cheshire, I am praying that this time I will be in here until bub is born screaming and crying from my belly. Well I am praying for that anyhow, but in the mean time everyday is a gift that we spend together and I am going to do my best to make the most of it. Starting tonight when DH is taking me out to dinner while DD is off at her first ever blue light disco.
