my 2 children (& this pregnancy) were/are all due in march (daughter born in feb), this miscarriages weren't so im hoping that is a good omen for a take home baby

Phebee~ Congrats on a great scan darl that is awesome news so so happy for you.
AFM~ Hmm well had my GP appointment today have to go back tomorrow for BT as I have to fast for these ones and my GP put an urgent rush to get my levels back for me asap. I have to say she was pretty darn thorough with me took my weight height, blood pressure, listened to my chest and gave me 3 forms for BT and 2 for my scans the dating scan and the 12 week scan and she wants to see me again in 4 weeks time. I also had a lump checked out that has come up on my neck and she thinks it may be cancer so she is talking to her boss and will discuss what we will do about that at my next visit, I'm not to worried about the lump as I am pretty certain it can't be to serious it came up like a mozzie bite and was really itchy now its just a horrible looking red lump on my neck, it hasn't grown any bigger thank goodness but does get very itchy and if you take the top off of it it bleeds like anything. So hopefully they can just get rid of it for me and all will be good again, FX.

Clairesmummy: I agree, hanging out for the FS is a good idea. It's a hard wait but I didn't get a scan til a bit over 6wks with this one because i figured I wouldn't be able to learn much until baby was old enough to have a heartbeat. I also figured there wasn't much I could do to change the outcome and just had to hope for the best. I hope you are rewarded with time flying fast until your FS appointment and a lovely heartbeat. (And I also hope you get reassurance on the lump on your neck. You don't need anything else to worry about right now and I'm glad you feel it's ok).

AFM: Had scan today. All looking good with baby. I've been finding it harder to walk around the last couple of days- more pressure in my pelvis- and I wondered if baby was getting engaged. Turns out i was right; baby is head down in right position. Very happy about that (cos last time i went to the Dr s/he was a bit off centre!) Starting to gather baby things from friends and really get nesting!
Clairesmummy - thanks hun awww, you're due on my DD's first birthday hehe, it's a good birthday to have lol her EDD going by the dating scan was the 28th, LMP date was the 23rd, but I knew all along that she'd arrive on the 30th

I'm getting a bit jealous of you all, I want another baby Not likely to happen though, hubby has his referral for the vasectomy now, and he's already planning our move to QLD in a year or so, looking like we'll be shifting to the gladstone area a the moment lol
