Dory - yeh it was me that has been washing all the baby clothes!! And i actually did take a pic of all the clothes!! It was too cute! I have been keeping a preg journal and put so many happy snaps in it!! I love it! So proud of it!

Mildez - Sorry to hear your good ob is going away you must be so shattered! So the only chance of having your ob deliver is if you went into labour this week?
And yeh hoping that the kidneys will resolve after birth but they arent 100% sure, will have to have some scans a few wks after bubs is born! Fingers crossed there isnt any permanent damage!

Alish - Hi lovey! I have Hydronephrosis, basically means they are very dilated and full of fluid. Ive heard that it can mean an earlier labour but will know more after i see my ob again next week! hopefully he has a plan

    xx

T-Hopes yes I'm not sure the exact day my Ob is leaving but if bub doesn't arrive by mid next week I see his replacement for my appointment at 39+6 which means he will book an induction then. I will except the induction date as long as its a few days past my EDD at minimum. There a few dates I don't want this bub to arrive. In saying that its unlikely that will happen but you just don't know. I'll also have my old Ob for delivery (been private I have an Ob as opposed to a midwife for the actual delivery where I'm birthing. He will just be forbidden to walk in the room with his episi scissors)

Kellbell I'm sure your Ob has seem far worse lol. Even if it was to your knees I'm sure there have been clients that could challenge that hehe. Hey I'm bawled at present and my Ob did a VE yesterday and as I'd been leaking I felt all sticky and yuck and thats all I could think of about how he would have to pry the sticky things apart to do his thing. Not pleasant at all. Wonder what I would have been thinking if I had an afro. The thoughts we have. Kellbell I'm feeling you on the feeling your so close but yet so far away.

Tegam he described the cervix as been a multios. It was greater then 2cm thick, admitted 2fingers so about 2cm, soft, very posterior, bubs head was high but well applied to the cervix. So basically a normal cervix in a non labour lady who has had babies vaginally before.

News update. I'm convinced I'm trickling amniotic fluid. He checked me out yesterday but today its really ramped up. I'll be getting checked out at some stage today. Its identical to yesterday just alot more. Got checked out at my appointment he did the works and said they were still intact but now over night 4 pairs of undies and some pads I'm convinced there is a leak.

JJ thinking of you today and praying you have a brilliant vaginal delivery and are holding your little lady in no time.

    Hi ladies

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to read or catch up at all, I just wanted to let you all know we arrived home from the hospital last night and are all doing well. You've probably heard bits and pieces, and I will most definitely fill you all in about what happened, but for now I'm just focussing on enjoying being a new mum.

I haven't checked my B.A yet, but I'm sure Tellytubby did a great job. We named our son Axel Timothy Faccioni. Born via emergency c-section at 2.39am on March 25th. He was somewhat famous in the nursery, especially with all the drama surrounding my hospital stay. Let's just say I didn't get ANY rest. It was weird how many people wanted to pop in and get the juicy story. Weird, and rude. Yesterday I had 10 staff members come into my room to suss out the situation in less than an hour. Just knock and barge, knock and barge. One particular cleaner actually got annoyed when I asked her to leave, and come back later because Axel was so unsettled and I'd had no sleep whatsoever. SO not in the mood to make chit chat!

By last night I was so frazzled after almost 40 hours straight without more than an hour sleep tho, (because of nosy drs, nurses staff etc) I demanded that NOBODY else enter my room unless it's to monitor my condition, or tell me I can go home. (I then got the feeling some of the staff resented my request for some space...... like their 'wants' even matter!) I'll explain in more detail just how shocking the whole experience was, from the big things to the small things, but I think my time on here is already running short, lol. My little man is starting to squeak so I'm sure it won't be long before I have to start the 'snuggle, feed, change, feed, change snuggle settle' routine

He is one DEMANDING little man though, gets upset really quickly and I think frankly he was traumatized by what happened to us. Not to mention poor DP. I have never seen him look so afraid or upset. Anyhoo, we're all well now and both DP and I are grateful we all made it out unscathed. Will post pictures when I can um, get anything done besides baby stuff hehe. Thanks everyone for your support and for thinking of us.
