Hi everyone sorry that i am so far behind and i have not been on life is kinda of out of control right now Honor is crawling and getting into everything and with me being pg its not an easy task.
Wannabeamum~ i kinda of know what your feeling i feel as if i was already given a baby this one is going to be takin away from me. I look at my drs office and see everyone pg and i say that i am going to be the unlucky one to lose this one.
Hard to believe i am 24 weeks today time is flying
S&S - Here's hoping for a BFP. Thankyou for updating, I still think of Obie and wonder how you are from time to time.
Clairesmummy & Loops - I am so thrilled to see you both in here! I too hope the stay is long and boring for you. Congratulations, girls!
AFM - Pretty dang chuffed to see my name still on the recent arrivals list. Axel is big and fat, and still terrorizing mummy all night long. What did I sign up for, lol! I'll sneak back out now since I'm not UTD. Just wanted to say hi.
And of course hi to all the other lovelies I shared part of the journey to motherhood with. Much love to all!
alish - congratulations on your little girl! Enjoy being a mommy.
Clairesmummy - Congrats on the great scan. How are you doing now? Did you get the results for the test of that bump on your neck?
S&S - I am really glad to see you here, I followed your story when you were expecting Obie because we are from the same age group of "oldies". I was very sad when he passed away, and sad for you that your dream ended like that. I am glad that you are not giving up and trying again. I think we may be from the same area, I am in the Philadelphia suburbs. Keeping my fingers crossed for your blasties, when will you know the results? And do not worry about your age, there were quite a few ladies in their 40s on this forum with success stories.
Scan today was good, exciting but I was so nervous going in. bub is measuring only 6wks 1 day, a little stressed over it because I thought I was further along but then again my cycles can be long and get up to 36days so it is hard to know. I also have a friend that went in for a scan when she thought she was 10 weeks and the same sonographer (or whatever they are lol) told her it only looked like 8 weeks and she has gone on a lot further now. We saw the tiny flicker of the heart beat and it was at about 115 to 120 BPM.
Ive changed my sig - dated it back a little.
Wannabemum ~ I feel exactly the same - trying so hard to be positive but some people that have easy pregnancies etc just dont understand - its near impossible to not be worried. I just pray and FX'd for you that all goes well - one day at a time
Forshelby ~ thanks hun and congratulations on your little bundle of joy - or should I say healthy little chubba bub
Thanks Loops and angel - it just helps to know you're not on your own sometimes you know?
Loops, I'm glad you got to see a little heartbeat - how awesome is that! Even if you aren't as far along as you thought, that heartbeat is an awesome sign It may feel a long time until a 12 week scan. If you get nervous in the meantime, my Ob said to me (when I requested a "paranoid Mummy scan") "There is no reason you can't have one every week if it helps your stress levels". So don't be afraid to ask if you want another in a few weeks! I think we all did It's nice to see bubba growing well.
This little one's certainly keeping me in the loop as to what it's up to - so much movement! A little dancer is on the way
Thanks so much Wannabe mum ~ you have really eased my mind a lot and I will take your advice and try get an earlier scan. I have Ob appointment on the 7th Oct so I think I'll try and wait until then and get one done about 10 weeks. I'll try and stay relaxed - as hard as it is.
Certainly your little treasure moving so much should be a good sign as well GL hun
