    Hey ladies,
Thanks very much for your replies.
I tried really hard over the w/e to be conscious of any movements, maybe I felt something, but maybe it was just gas!
How do you ever really know??

I am going to try and relax about it, after hearing from you all it would seem that I am not the exception, maybe my little dude is a chilled out fella!
    Thanks again,
    HH

I was the same with DD when I was waiting for her to move - because I had no idea what to expect I actually didn't even know it was already happening until her Dad had his hand lying on my tummy and felt it from this outside lol

I felt so silly because I thought it was only gas and that I wasn't feeling her yet - and then once I knew what it was I realised it had been happening for days!!

I hope it happens soon - I am sure it will

I think this is pretty normal really. I was the same, I had no idea what I was looking for to feel those early movements & I didnt realise I was feeling bub move till almost 23-25weeks. I can honestly say now looking back Im sure I was feeling bub move earlier than the 20 weeks I just didnt know it.

Lol everyone kept telling me it felt like butterflies in your belly, but honestly to me it felt like an upset stomach, it'd roll a bit & drop & yes feel a little gassy......but no gas .

Don't stress, as long as the checkups are showing all is well with bub. I guarantee in no time you'll be wishing you weren't feeling bub move coz it can be downright odd to suddenly feel a foot jab out the side of your stomach & slightly painful by the end.

Don't worry about it, my OB says it is common not to feel much with first pregnancies right up to 22 weeks, I'm sure you will get a kick in the ribs sooner or later. (I was worried about it too)

My bubs is moving so I can feel now only just started this week, and it feels to me like I'm being tapped from the inside. LOL until I knew what it was I only could feel it if I sat still not doing too much.

Now all bubs ever does is move LOL don't worry if all your scans are ok, some people I know didn't feel anything until 3rd trimester, and their bubs were totally fine.

Also, sometimes I wish bubs wouldn't play football with my bladder urk

    Everyone is different
