    Question 3d/4d Ultrasounds

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone living in brisbane can tell me of where I can go to get a 3d/4d ultrasound done, and if you know how much they cost to have these done. I have been researching this on the net but haven't had much luck at this stage. I really would like to have one done.

    TIA

    Bec

Theres a place at Fortitude Valley called Savage xray & they bulk bill all scans - thats where I got my 18 weeks scan done. They have a website just google it & it should come up!

There is also QLD ULTRASOUND FOR WOMEN which is located at Wickham Terrace in the city. They do the 3D scans, and have specialists available. You are charged though and you get the gap back from Medicare.

I had a 3D picture done at the Fetal Medecine Unit at the hospy here in Canberra (not what you're asking I know) but since I'm 27 weeks, the sonographer said we might not get a good picture (we did tho). They usually don't do them until after 28 weeks (better even after 30 or 32 weeks) before before then bubs hasn't put on much fat and the pictures just come out looking scary! So - you've got plenty of time to research!

Qld Ultrasound for Women is great - i went to one of their clinics.. I had my 13 week and 19 week scan done in 3D/4D at their clinics and have some of the images on my website if you'd like to view some of their work. Best of luck!

    hi,
i know you wanted north side or city but i recently had a 4d scan done at a place at loganholme called precious previews! it was about $230 and its not covered by medicare, as its not a medical scan! you can take up to 10 people with you and get heaps of great pics and a dvd of the whole session!
i wish i could go again cause bub had its hands up to its face alot! but we had a wonderfull experinece and its so great you can take family and friends!
they have a website which has the different packages on it!
i have some of the pics on my photobucket website in my signature if you wanted to have a look!
    good luck
