Last night, DP and I were having sex and i felt a sharp pain in my abdomen!
I screamed in pain, and was so worried something was wrong, I asked dp if there was anything out of the ordinary, and he said no....withing 30 seconds of him saying that, he pulled away and said, OMG theres blood...
He had blood all over him, and there was blood running out of me!!
I ran to the bathroom, sick with worry, i used toilet paper to wipe myself, but the blood was coming out slowly still, like a few drops every minute.
I was stressing, but dp said i needed to calm down, as it could just be the same thing as what happened to me about a year ago...( Me and dp were having sex, and he caught/tore something from up in my vagina, I was losing a lot of blood, to a point where i had to stand in the shower and wash myself, cause it was running out of me that quickly! I saw the doctor the next day, and it was apparently the remainder of my hymen which he had clipped with his penis and torn away from my vaginal wall. even though i had lost my virginity years earlier, some of my hymen was still there and it was that that he had ripped. I didnt have sex for about 2 weeks til it eventually healed and ive been okay ever since...)
Dp assumed that this bleedng i was having could just be this hymen thing reoccuring...but i didnt wanna take a chance, and called my mum to get advice...she told me to go straight to th hospital.
The doc took my blood pressure an temperature, which was all normal. and then checked me for blood loss...at this moment, i was only losing a few drops every ten minutes...which made me feel a little better.
She then looked for babys heart beat on the doppler, in which she found to be about 144, which she said was fine...when i heard the heartbeat i started crying, i was so happy he/she was still in there and doing okay
They sent me home, and said that it could have just been a slight strain or cut thats caused the blood loss.
Up until 9pm last night, i still hadnt felt a kick from bub...just before bed, the little bugger wouldnt keep still I was so relieved and was able to sleep a bit better, knowing he/she was alright.
This morning, i still have some blood in my knickers, and there is still a few drops each time i go to the toilet. I am just hoping and praying that everything is okay, and that its just a little scratch up there, thats causing me all this worry.
I tell you what, i have never been so scared in all my life, i was holding onto dps hand the whole way to the hospital, and i have to admit, im still a little worried as to why theres blood coming out still..
But surely if it was something more, i would be bleeding a lot more...wouldnt i?

Im still so worried, i can feel bub moving, but i just didnt really get an answer from the doc as to what it was exactly...so now im scared pooless of having sex or even moving too much...
Wow sweetie, what a scary experience for you and your DP!
It's also a shame the Dr couldn't give you an answer as to what it may have been. I had some bleeding early on in this pregnancy after dtd, not to the same extent as yours though and my midwife told me it was due to the blood vessels inside me being more full now or something like that.
I certainly hope the bleeding stops very soon and your little bundle continues to be healthy & active

I would be petrified aswell. Maybe a second opinion may be in order just to ease your mind, and at least get an answer for what it was that caused the bleeding like that. You poor thing. Try and relax.
i can understand that you would feel that way i would too... altho ild ring the hospital or see a diff doctor if unsure about what they are saying. ild be concerned tooo ..Im a worry wart tho.. you don't have a negative blood group do you???
BIGGEST scare of my life!!
I was so relieved and was able to sleep a bit better, knowing he/she was alright.
