Wow sweetie, what a scary experience for you and your DP!
It's also a shame the Dr couldn't give you an answer as to what it may have been. I had some bleeding early on in this pregnancy after dtd, not to the same extent as yours though and my midwife told me it was due to the blood vessels inside me being more full now or something like that.
I certainly hope the bleeding stops very soon and your little bundle continues to be healthy & active
oh my gosh how scary for you. lots of hugs being sent your way
I would be petrified aswell. Maybe a second opinion may be in order just to ease your mind, and at least get an answer for what it was that caused the bleeding like that. You poor thing. Try and relax.
Yes that is scary, but if doc said bubs is fine then I would not stress. The same thing happend to me when pregnant with DS, I think I was about 4 or 5 months along & we were DTD & when finished I noticed lots of blood. I paniced & cried right away, it was enough for me to keep a pad on the rest of the day & I was so scared. But I didn't have any pain, or big clots etc so tried not to worry.....already had a doc appt on the Monday anyway. When I told him what happened he predicted we were DTD before I mentioned & said it is not at all uncommon & then I had to have a needle because of my blood type. But needless to say it was a while before DH & I did anything again & this time around I'm scared each time.
That is scary it would def freak me out!! And obviously just as you get some of your sex drive back, probly enough to put you off again!!
Sounds like it's happened to a few others and bubs are all ok so try not too panic too much...ha...I'm sure that's easier said than done
When you are pregnant the softening of your cervix also means that the blood vessels in it rupture more easily. Also, cervical "erosions," where the cells normally inside the cervical canal migrate to the outside, can bleed easily after sex. It may well be so ething like this that's caused your problem. I hope it doesn't happen again!
