There is a thread called "Dieing my Hair" in the First Trimester General discussion too.

I am blond and had some foils done recently (at about 9 weeks). I wasn't going to get anything done but a trim but my hairdresser uses an organic product with no chemicals and my hair came up great! I felt so lovely at the end of it too.

I personally don't think there's any harm if you use an organic product and most hairdressers stock them these days.
