I'm a need to know gal too. I like to be organised with clothes, and I also wanted time to 'get used' to having either a boy or a girl. I definitely think it helps with the bonding too - Bub has a name, and we can picture him as part of our family. Not sure I'd have coped well with lots of surprises at birth the first time around - everything was so new and foreign anyway! A slow reveal worked well. It won't be such a shock to the system this time around, I hope, but I'm still glad I know
