    Freaking Out!

went to the loo about 20 mins ago and when I wiped there was a bit of blood, went about 10 mins later and there was a bit more, it is only when I wipe though (I think as I am wearing black underwear) I am currently 14w 2d and I still have morning sickness (dry retching) and I don't have cramping. I am feeling VERY scared atm as I had a missed m/c at 11 weeks in Feb and I don't think I could handle losing this little one. I am going to try and hang out till the morning, and drop my little one off at school and then call my Ob immediately.

Hey Sharon....very personal question but did you dtd before you noticed the spotting?

I had some quite heavy bleeding when I was 14wks (I had no cramps or clots or anything like that) and it lasted for about 4-5wks. The Dr. had no explanations for me. He got me a scan to be safe. The baby was fine and my placenta although anterior wasn't growing over bubba's exit.....called placenta previa. It sometimes causes bleeding.
He just said that I had had a threatened m/c. My midwife told me that if you have something like a bruise on your cervix (which you can get after dtd) this also can cause some bleeding and isn't anything to worry about.
    It is so scary though!!

Best to go to your OB like you said. He should be able to tell you what is going on.
It is a good sign that you still have the PG signs!!!! Hope that everything goes well for you tomorrow!

rustygirl nope, no bd'ing here for a while
    satya thanks
    JoJoB1 thank you

I have just got back from the ob and everything is fine, got to see bub kicking away, and heart was beating nicely, ob said he could see some bruising on my placenta which is more than likely caused from it stretching as it grows, so I am VERY relieved.

I had lots of bleeding from a subchorionic haemotoma (sp?) near the placenta site or as your Ob said like a bruise in the wall. I had bleeding at 5wks, 8wks, 28wks, and 37wks. I think they usually heal up but can get worse sometimes so just keep an eye on the bleeding but I'm sure if there was a problem your Ob would have told you. Glad everything is going well *hugs*
