Kick in the tummy

Ds kicked me in the stomach today and i've had pain in my side of abdomen ever since, kind of like a mild ache. The baby has moved since then so would this be a sign its okay? i know they're really well protected but it was a hard kick.

It is a go sign that you have felt your baby move and, providing that you are not bleeding and there is no cramping then your baby will be fine. As you said they are well protected.
