    belle, yep you can DTD I would only see a doctor if you had bleeding. We DTD alot right up until DS was born with no ill effects

    Wa-hay, I had my scan today and the placenta is a clear 5cm away from the os!

    great news.. glad it has shifted.
    Reading this, i had no idea it was so common, and, just as common, the placenta moving.
    I was also told with this preg that the placenta was low, was told that at like 9 weeks or something. At my most recent check up, 27weeks, was told that it was in a normal spot.

    please dont be scared i had this with my 3rd child and it went by 32 wks when it showed on the ultrasound .
    and i had a normal 4 hr birth so dont stress yourself out very good chances it will go and move.

    Hi Belle, I just wanted to let you know that I have a low lying placenta too, and the midwife said to not DTD. In my case, anyway, I had a really really heavy bleed after DTD. So they told me to stop that and to not exercise. But might not be the same for everyone. I hope your next scan shows that the placenta has moved up and all is good to go! xoxo
