rosa: aww what i have to look forward to! i'll try another pillow under my head too...maybe some one should invent a minni matress that pops over the top of the old one with a cut out for the ever growing belly, that way us belly sleepers can get a good nights sleep!
alan: i think i ment the voltaren gel stuff, or maybe deep heat. i know i can take panadol but i've always avoided it unless i really needed it (after a bad kidney infection 4 years ago i took a packet and a half over 3 days...) and i just feel that with taking pandaol all the time the boys ablity to deal with pain starts to fall. (thats just my view on it ) and i want an all natural birth so i see that the pain i face now will look so small after going (hopefully) though a natural birth
samih: maybe i should warn DF that i'll me tossing and turing more often then? and that its not him its my belly making me want to move around so much more....ohh and i just realised - i'll be HUGE i summer...so it can only get worse! heh.
Blip, I bought this maternity pillow at Target and it has been really good for me. It is like a half body pillow that goes between my legs and the other bit wedges under my belly. I find I can turn easier in bed without reorganising 8 pillow and I too sleep with 2 nice pillows under my head but I always have, I am thinking about adding a 3rd one for when I am on my back as jellybean does not seem to like it anymore when I am laying on 2 and I get uncomfortable rather quickly..
I'm with you on the sleep though...after a while on the same side, I start aching and need to move. I also had wicked knee pain at night as well, especially after a busy day...weird! The hot water bottle is a great recommendation too. Ahhh, what we go through for our little bundle of joy!
Am curious about Deep Heat myself, I have used a little bit of red tiger balm once below my shoulder blade as I was in pain crying and needed muscle relief..we looked it up on the net and could not find a lot of information but we thought a little and not on my belly should not harm jelly bean...
