It is shaped like that - I think the brand is Leachco Back and Belly and I bought it from Toys R Us. It isn't cheap, but soooooo worth it! You can use it later on as a nursing pillow and is great for propping yourself up in bed. It is just fantastic not having to rearrange pillows when rolling over and because it is on both sides of you it can't hit the deck!

Downside (or not! ) is that it does provide a bit of a barricade between yourself and your partner!!

I think the pillows help my hip pain to keep my hip elevated and my legs apart, but sometimes I get annoyed with the body pillow taking up so much room so I just use a normal one. There's even more problem with a little one falling out, but if you can find a way to get it to stay then I don't see how you'd need a body pillow.

That said, a body pillow isn't necessarily just a pregnancy thing. I have to fight Shel for it sometimes, and to be honest I reckon it'd be really good during AF carmps too. So you can justify it

I think you could just use normal pillows. To make it like mine - one on each side of you supporting your belly and back, one between your legs and one under your head!!

    Good luck!
