I had bleeding with this preg and my last. The first, it was brown, like the stuff ing the bottom of chockmilk, and later turned dark red. A scan showed that I had lost my bub when the brown first appeared. The second time around, it was light red, Fresh, almost pink. I went for scans, and scans, and they couldn't find anything wrong. I am now 22 weeks preg with that same preg, and all is well. Haven't bleed since week 10.
I don't think any bleeding should be classed as "normal". If you bleed, get it checked! You can NEVER be too carefull.
