I found out with all three of mine. It helped me bond with my bubs during pg. I am also a control freak and I couldn't stand the thought that the sonographer knew what my baby was and I didn't! I don't particularly like surprises - it's that control freak thing again!! I never regretted finding out.

We kept the gender a secret from everyone with both of my DD's, which was actually kind of fun - for us anyway! And it was nice for DH and I to share a secret. My DS was diagnosed with health problems at the 20wk scan and we were told he might not survive. We told everyone he was a boy - the gender was just so utterly unimportant in comparison to his health!
