Hahahaa this thread is as funny as the "end of the world" thread. I'm doing all sorts of spacey things at the moment. Usually it's just vagueness and brain-freeze like forgetting the names of people I know well. A couple of times it's warranted behaviour that could be better placed in the other thread (ie. sitting on the study floor crying my eyes out because I CAN NOT find something I had yesterday). Fortunately most of the time, I can just laugh at myself....

I work with kids with autism and we've been working on social games and coping with losing. To practice this we were playing musical chairs. It was my job to supervise, manage emotional meltdowns and remove one chair at a time (not difficult, you'd THINK). Every time the music started I just stood there smiling and thinking how cute they were all dancing around the chairs... then the music stopped and they all clamored to get a chair... and EVERYONE got one (because I forgot to take a chair away!!!). This happened about six times, and by the end of it, a colleague got sick of reminding me, gave me my own chair to sit on and took over my job. Needless to say, there were no meltdowns when we were playing it my way!

SIGH. I was once an intelligent professional woman. Now I'm wondering whether I should really be allowed to have a driver's license or be let near a stove!
