Question When did your belly button pop?

    Hi girls,

I am very impatient for my belly button to go from an 'innie' to an 'outie' (Although this also means I will be less able to hide the belly at work for much longer!).

I know that everyone is different but I'm just wondering when others found their stomachs became smooth all over? Does it depend on whether you were carrying a bit of extra weight before the pregnancy or on how you are carrying the pregnancy? At 19 weeks, am I nearly there yet???????

    Thanks in advance!

Before I was pg I had a deep innie, I think I was about 20-22weeks when my belly button evened out to the same as the rest of my belly (if that makes sense), I kept thinking any day now it is going to pop... it never did I had bets on with my partner from the start as to wether or not my belly button would pop, neither of us won as it just stretched and kind of dissappeared!

I hope you get the *pop* you are waiting for!

Mine was still an innie at the end of my pg! But I have a fair bit of extra flesh, LOL.

Mine's been popping out a little bit for a couple of weeks now, but it was never very deep to start with so I was expecting it to come out. I don't want a really protruding one, but I guess there's not much I can do about it. I just hope it goes back in afterwards...

KAz- I want mine to pop too!!! Mine was pretty deep and is starting to even out now. I was also crrying a little bit of extra weigth around my tummy before falling pregnant- No washboard abs for me, the last time I saw my abs I was 21!

Mine is a deep innie also and the last 2-3 weeks it's been getting more shallow (if that makes sense!) and now is so small i can't stick my finger in my belly button anymore like i used to be able to
Hasn't popped yet but I sure hope it does!!

Can I swap with you girls then? Mine was an outie as a child, and I hated it and was very embarrassed by it. As I got older it finally turned into an innie, but quite shallow. So now it's sticking out again I'm really not that happy about it.

I wrote before my 'belly button would pop, neither of us won as it just stretched and kind of dissappeared!', just wanted to let you know that it did go back in again, in fact it went in alot deeper than it was before at first as my stomach was flat before I was pg and after I gave birth I had a bit of excess flab and therefore a bigger innie - I could fit my finger in to my first knuckle

Hey I was just talking about this in my belly buddies thread!
I had never noticed it until 2 days ago when I looked at my belly button and it has started to flatten/even out with my tummy! It is so weird looking and feels really soft as well. Prior to pregnancy it was pretty deep and my tum has always been flat and firm so this growing bump is really making it tight and I think the stretching and tightening of my belly is giving my belly button no choice but to flatten out. I have a belly bar in there too, so not sure if I should just leave it or maybe get one of those flexi ones designed for pregnancy...

    Hey Kaz

Was wondering the same thing! My sister's never quite popped with my niece, but a friend of mine's popped about two weeks ago (and she is 30 weeks now).

Mine is stretching and going all weird looking but not poking out yet!
