Mine just went flat, it has come back and is slowly getting back to normal, will be interested to see how tight it gets after (I had a pretty firm flat tummy before getting pregnant) Just got a little bit to get rid of now!

My belly is so tight and smooth, has been since I began to show at about 12 weeks. But I noticed just last week that my normally innie belly button is popping out, but only on one side at the moment. Feels funny. I seriously look like I have just swollowed a huge watermelon, other than my bump I haven't put weight on anywhere else, so that just looks weirder if you ask me, I think a little extra weight looks lovely!

My belly button hasalways been a reasonably deep innie. At 25 weeks it has flattened out a lot, one side more so than the other. I assumed from this that it would eventually pop, but my sis (same size and shape as me) says hers stayed like this for her whole pregnancy, so I'm hoping mine won't get much worse.

In the past few weeks my belly button has become much more shallow. I've also noticed that I can make my belly button into an outie if I pull the skin around my belly button tight! It looks so funny! Have no idea if it will 'pop' out - I hope so!

Oooh thanks for all your replies girls! They've been very enlightening - I am so clueless it didn't even occur to me that it wouldn't pop out!!

I would be happy with a flattened out/stretched version but from some of your experiences I might be waiting a while yet. I feel self conscious wearing tighter mat tops because you can see the 'crater' and it is not a good look It is starting to become less deep though so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Devon - I'll happily swap buttons with you now darl! It's always the way that you get what you don't want. I really hope your belly button returns to normal afterwards.

Puppies - I'm quite sure I've got an extra few kilos I could donate to you too I am certain you look gorgeous! I think it looks better when its all belly myself.

I have a belly bar in there too, so not sure if I should just leave it or maybe get one of those flexi ones designed for pregnancy...
Holly, My belly button did the same as yours just flattened out, I have my belly peirced to and I got one of those plastic pregnancy bars and personally I think it was hopeless, I kept a sleeper in for ages and took it out at about 25 weeks as it was getting in the way more than anything (Just slid a ring through every now and then, just to check the hole was open). When I gave birth I put a ring back in no problems and you now would never know I took it out.

My belly button was very deep and it never popped. Who is to say it wouldn't have in the last 6 weeks, if I did not have a premie. I don't think it would have ever popped. though.

Mine never popped either, just got a bit stretched and shallower. I was glad - it didn't stick out of my summer tops when I was heavily pg!
